—he feels him. Feels as his emotions change, as they stay the same— the latter is somehow more frightening. Since day one, he knows he’s felt something rolling off of him in thick, overpowering waves. Something that feels so too-warm for a demon, so too-close, so very much like a welcome embrace and so very much like coming home.
It feels something like love.
It’s so much. It’s so much. (It’s what he wants, but it’s too much.)
