   “What, does Andy chain you guys here?” Nile says, only half-kidding when she asks. They really are just a bit suspiciously loyal to her. 

   “We are born and we die in this restaurant,” Joe says, looking entirely serious. He’s joined them for the tour, like he’s brand-new too, but winking at Nicky for most of the time. “Then we come back to life the next night, a miracle to be beheld, and we serve food that is fit for the gods.”
