I Don't Like That Psycho!

"Emma, do you like Norman?"

"PFFFTTT!" Emma spit out her drink at Anna's question.

They and Gilda were just sitting around talking when the blonde suddenly asked that.

The obvious answer was "no", of course.

She didn't even get why someone would thing that.

"After all, you guys are almost always together. You're really cute together, though not as cute as me of course." Anna continued as if she had heard Emma's inner thoughts.

"We're together often because he's always following me!" Emma yelled.

It was true, though.

Norman was always following her and it was infuriating.

It was infuriating how he was always near her, how he kept flirting with her and even stole her belongings.

She grimaced at the thought.

Why would she even like a guy like that?

Why would she like someone who always kept near her like Norman did?

Who always did his best to make sure she wasn't alone, kept check on her reactions and feelings to about anything, gave her compliments (mostly telling her she was cute) in any situation even if it didn't really fit the moment, spend at least an hour everyday to pick her a huge bouquet of flowers or write some overly sweet poem and tried to take her on "dates".

She blinked and frowned to herself.

Summing up everything Norman did like that actually didn't make him sound too bad, maybe even nice.

WAIT! WHAT?!

She wildly shook her head.

Did she just seriously think Norman's creepy stalker tendencies sounded nice?!

No, they weren't nice! The were weird and obnoxious!

She hated how he always tried to hold her hand in his larger warm one, how he tried to hug her so close that his soft hair tickled her cheek or how he would smile, how he would look at her with those large aquamarine eyes sparkling so prettily and how he made her feel as it there were a hundred butterflies flying around in her tummy and- oh god.

Oh no no no no no.

Was she actually falling for him?

It must be some kind of Stockholm Syndrome from being forced to live with him for years, right?!

"Emma?" she jumped and looking up found the other girls staring at her.

"Are you alright? You didn't really answer Anna's question." Gilda said.

Panicking Emma gave the one answer that made the most sense to her.

"I don't like that psycho!" she yelled.

"What's with those faces?!" she then asked upon seeing Anna smiling and Gilda giving her "the look".

It was obvious they didn't believe her.

"Hey, there is Norman!" Anna suddenly perked up and raised her hand to wave and turning around Emma sure enough saw the troublesome guy making his way towards them.

"Emma~ I saw these flowers and thought I'd bring them to you since they're so pretty, though not nearly as pretty as you!" he announced as he shoved a couple of daisies in her hands.

"T-thanks." she mumbled as she stared down at her, cursing how she felt her cheeks heat up.

"I like you, you know." he told her like he did every day.

"Yeah, I know." she answered.

"Please go out with me."

"No. I gotta go." she said and with that stood up and started marching off, not even bothering to say goodbye to the other girls.

As she walked and was almost out of range he suddenly heard Anna's voice.

"It okay, Norman. She's just shy." the blonde said and she whirled around.

"No, I'm not!" she protested angrily, both at Anna and the implication and gave and at herself because she knew there was at least some truth in it.

She gasped when Norman seemed to practically teleport in front of her (way too close, mind you) and grabbed her hands.

"Don't worry, Emma! You can take all the time you need because I'll always wait for you!" he told her wide that same goofy wide smile he always wore around her.

Damn it, there were those stupid butterflied again!

"Well, you can wait for a long time!" she snapped and snatched her hands back.

"Ehehehe~ For you I'll wait forever~" he giggled and leaned closer like he was trying to kiss her.

At first Emma froze as she watched him get closer and closer and part of her was planning to maybe let him do as he pleased before the more rational part (or more so the sane one) kicked in and took action before he could connect.

"GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU PSYCHO!" she screamed and slapped him as hard as she could, sending him flying.

With that she turned around and sprinted away as fast as she could.

She needed to get away from him and bang her head against a wall for almost letting him kiss her.

No matter how long they were together and what Norman might do, she did not like that psycho!
