Hi!!! It's been a while…I'm sorry if you noticed, I haven't been doing great, to put it mildly. But I'm here now, kinda. And I hope everyone is doing well.
Okay, so I'm making a few changes. Ones I mostly like, but that also make me VERY anxious and excited, which is not an emotion I usually feel.
All right. First of all, I've been writing my own original work for years now, and I've decided to share some of it. And I'm also going to start writing custom requests for original work, just any story you want for a commission. So, paid content.
You can pick the genre, rating, POVs, tropes, names, etc., and I'll happily write it while also working on my own projects on the side. I write romance, erotica, fantasy, horror/psychological thriller, and paranormal. These are my main genres, but I'm open to trying new ones if you're willing to try them with me.
So I'll be posting some samples of my original work so people who don’t know me through fanfiction can get a feel for my style. And for those who know me through fanfiction, you either like it or you don’t, so you already know how I work.
Your suggestions and story requests will really help me explore new directions and push me as a writer. I’m so genuinely excited to collaborate with anyone who wants to see their ideas come to life. Even small prompts or concepts would mean a lot. You'll honestly be reminding me why I love writing so much.
Now, to the part I'm most anxious about: I'm turning all of my fanfiction into original work. So, if you're reading this, all fanfiction I've ever written is deleted, even the one-shots, not just the multi-chaptered completed stories. I have ideas for how to build stories around the one-shots and turn them into really cool original work.
I know what you're thinking: I'm not even remotely good and/or popular enough to be doing this. And you're absolutely right. But I'm doing this for me and my writing career. I've been struggling financially; it’s been unimaginably bad. I wish I could write for free and still live comfortably, but I can't. And I just really want to be a writer. Doing this might help me, and it might not. But I finally have the motivation and necessity to try.
I hope everyone understands. I know it's not great, but I hope deep down you still get it.
In the meantime, if you still want to read any of the fanfiction until I turn it into original work (which will take some time, let's be real), I’m open to commissions to send it to you. You can DM me about that if you want, or you can just wait until everything is converted into original work.
This was hard for me to post, but also a much-needed thing for me to do because I'm finally taking charge of being a writer who gets paid. I’ve written a lot for people, but freelancing and scriptwriting just don’t work anymore. With everything I’ve been going through for years, I have to take a step forward and help myself out of a situation that sometimes feels like I’m burying myself in.
Again, I really hope all of you understand and are supportive. But I know that not everyone will be, and that’s okay.
