   Summary

   Left in a Coma after being hit with a car, Emily wakes up nearly a year later to many changes. No longer able to live on her own at the moment, Barry announces that he and the others would take care of her recovery after being released from the hospital. With Kevin unresponsive even to her, things get even stranger as she notices that only Dennis, Hedwig, and Patricia are the ones she sees anymore. Left in their care in their home beneath the Zoo, there is one side of this strange place they call home that she was told not to wander too, as Patricia called it a 'present' for her.
   As the days go on, she becomes more and more assured that the trio is involved with something dangerous and it all revolves around someone called The Beast.
