Few years ago, when I was really into reading manga, and on deviantart under different username, I found fantastic fancomic called Shadow Chase, drawn by BakaThief (back then, vampire kid). I'm not the biggest fan of KaiShin as a romantic couple, but (the story starts as a gen and) I got hooked to the story immediately. It was really good, sometimes funny, sometimes more dramatic or mysterious, and all in all, very enjoyable to read. (I remember waiting for page update on grocery store murder case and checking if there is new one almost everyday, after geting home from school). And it's still being updated till this day! I was pleasently surprised when I bumped into Shadow Chase, while reaching to detective fiction again, few months ago. It was like getting back to my childhood memories. I'm also super impressed by the author's commitement and how much their art changed since I read their work the first time! I thought I can draw fanart for them.
