Dabi never would’ve thought that their small detour to his family’s diner would turn out like this. He didn’t even want to go there in the first place, but the storm got them off guard and they had to find a place where they could stay while it ended ASAP. Which is why they were sitting at a table beside the window, waiting for the waitress to come
”I still don’t think this is a good idea,” Dabi mumbled, pulling his hood even higher to hide his face.
”Why? I think it’s adorable!” Toga said excitedly, then started to wave in order to grab on of the waitresses’ attention.
Dabi turned his attention away from her when the small bell above the door jingled. A bit interested in who might be the once coming here at this late, Dabi turned his gaze towards the door – and his jaw dropped. Despite the hood in his face, Dabi would recognize that figure anywhere – if not from anything else, then from those adorable golden locks circling on his forehead. He let out a small gasp and Tomura sent him a confused look.
”What are you looking at?” He asked, turning his head towards the door which was behind his back. When he saw what had grabbed his friend’s attention, small giggles started to shake his body. ”I can’t wait to see you make a total idiot of yours- OW!” He yelped as Dabi kicked his shin.
”Shut up, freak!” Dabi growled, still watching of the other man sat down to the furthest table from the door.
Suddenly, their eyes met and Dabi wasn’t ready for looking into such a pair of golden eyes. He mumbled an ’Oh, fuck!’ to himself, but couldn’t turn away fast enough, so his lips were still visible. He saw how the other’s body started to shake with laughter and felt his face bursting to flames. Yes, today cannot be worse.
”What can I bring for you,” he heard a too well known voice only a few meters from his ear and reconsidered his statement. Today can be worse.
