Summary
When Chu Wanning wakes up for the second time, much calmer and clear-headed but progressively burning in need, he is all wrapped up around an almost naked, definitely human Mo Ran.
He doesn’t move - doesn’t get closer, already mortally embarrassed by how clingy he must have been, nor does he shift back, the earthly, musky scent so typical of Mo Ran enveloping him just as effectively as his arms are doing, secured around his back as his fingers draw imaginary patterns on his skin.
Oh, this feels nice. Chu Wanning feels boneless, basking in the attention and purring involuntary in contentment. He is tempted to drift off to sleep for a couple of minutes more, until he realizes how Mo Ran’s fingertips are dancing on his naked skin, just under his shirt and above the hem of his pants, and freezes on the spot.
