Work Text:
Jimin watched himself carefully through the mirror, brushing and styling his platinum blonde hair in a sophisticated yet fluffy style. He didn't have to wear anything truly sophisticated however, seeing as how he and his boyfriend were merely heading to a pub, otherwise known as a bar.
But it had less to do with where they were going, and more of who they were going to meet.
He set the brush and comb down, observed his parted bangs one more time, and then stepped out of the shared bathroom. He wore a simple brown plaid shirt over a black turtleneck, black bottoms, and dress shoes. This outfit? With the hair? He'd thought he looked pretty cute.
And then a low voice confirmed it.
"Wow, you look so pretty, Jiminah."
He had to lower his head for a moment, averting his gaze from the other man sitting on the bed. Min Yoongi, the one currently looking at Jimin as if he were a statue made out of diamonds or something, sat there looking as fine and as wonderful as can be. With his dark gray hair and his pretty eyes, the simple black button-up top matching his pants, sneakers, and cap with a single watch on his left wrist, Jimin would have been ready to tackle him then and there.
But he couldn't. Definitely not now, they had a place to get to!
"You're looking fine as hell, hyung," Jimin responded, regaining his mental stability and stepping towards the other with a stretch of his arms. "Why are you dressing so good to go and introduce me to your ex?"
"What? You're not gonna be jealous, right?" Yoongi slowly stood up with a smile, his pretty eyes glinting in playfulness as Jimin wrapped his arms around the older's neck, and he leaned in to rub the tip of his nose right against the other's.
"Mm, no. No, why would I be?" Jimin answered in a sultry tone, biting against his lower lip as he smiled back up at his hyung. Their lips locked, and they shared a warm, tender kiss for a moment.
Oh, and yes, they were on their way to go see Yoongi's ex. Specifically an ex partner from three years back.
They broke the kiss shortly, before Jimin quickly took Yoongi by the arm and gently guided him toward the door with a little grin.
"You're a little excited, aren't you baby?" Yoongi questioned him in not any particularly serious tone, but it still prompted a playful answer out of Jimin. "Of course I'm excited! Excited to make a good impression and win yet another poor heart over with my super spectacular, undefeated charm."
Pretty genuine.
Yoongi simply rolled his eyes as they both walked out the bedroom.
Jimin had already known about this specific ex. For the past two years he and his hyung had dated, Yoongi had let Jimin know right from the get-go that he was still good friends with an old ex of his. At first Jimin may have felt a pretty salty way about it, but through time he eased more into it. Not to mention it'd make him a hypocrite if he didn't, seeing as how he was still good friends with an old ex partner himself.
Recently however, Yoongi decided that it was high time Jimin finally met this friend now that the chance was possible. From what Jimin was aware of, this guy had been away in a whole other country; America. Now he was arriving back to South Korea, and after some phone calls and messages between Yoongi and the man, a thing was set up and now here they were!
I wonder what he's like, Jimin thought to himself as Yoongi opened up the front door, house and car keys in hand. Is he similar or different than me? He managed to win over Yoongiah at some point, so there's gotta be some little connection in personality at least.
These thoughts weren't worried thoughts at all, but rather purely curious ones. Jimin and Yoongi stepped outside, and with the wave of fresh wind hitting his pale locks, Jimin smiled confidently.
Not like it really matters, though. I can get along with any personality anyway.
--------------------------------------------------------------
"Do you see him yet, hyung??"
"No, Jiminah."
"What does he look like, hyung?"
"You'll know when you see him, Jiminah."
"You think he'll be excited to see us, hyung?"
"Very much so, Jiminah."
"..."
"..."
...
"Do you see him yet, hyung?-"
"Baby, oh my god."
The two sat at stools, right at the counter with drinks already in front of them; Jimin having an old fashioned glass of soju, and Yoongi currently sipping at a similar glass with whiskey in it. They had arrived maybe around twenty minutes ago? And had been sitting here as Yoongi patiently dealt with Jimin's impatient bantering and whining and questioning.
Jimin smiled as he thought about how patient his baby always was with him, and was just about to lean into him until the other's phone suddenly went off. Yoongi's narrow eyes widened once he saw the called ID.
"Oh shit, it's him!"
"Oh yeah?" Jimin asked with a tilt of his head, watching with big eyes as his hyung answered the call. A gentle course of excitement ran through his body as Yoongi held the phone to his ear.
"Hey dude!" Yoongi started off. "Yaaah, where are you? We've been waiting for actual decades, what kind of reuniting is this?"
He made a funny face, and Jimin rest his chin on a small fist in admiration of the other. Him, his jokes, his face, his everything.
"Tsk, don't tell me you're lost in Seoul already... Oh, you're right outside? What the hell, why didn't you say that from the start?"
Jimin's eyes widened in surprise, lips forming a small "O" shape as Yoongi quickly stood up from his stool, and Jimin repeated the action.
"He's already here babe!" Yoongi exclaimed, excitement briefly flashing in his eyes as he took Jimin by the hand. They practically sprinted out of the pub and back onto the concrete flooring outside. Outside was bustling with people, and the sun was rather bright now. Jimin squinted his eyes, and was starting to wish he brought a cap like his boyfriend.
The boyfriend in particular was looking through the crowd, tilting his head as he glared. Jimin tried to help, but he didn't know what the other looked like, all Yoongi had basically told him was that, "he'll just know when he sees him." It left Jimin a tad bit frustrated and rather doubtful.
Until he actually saw him.
A person was coming through the crowd of people. His energy was much, much different compared to the others around him, and honestly he made them look bland and faceless in comparison.
The first thing Jimin could make out was an outfit that stood out compared to others, as well as pretty black hair. But quickly, Jimin was able to make out more due to the new guy's style of walking; A powerful stride that easily split other citizens away from him.
His outfit consisted of an oversized white tee, with a blotch of something pink and a bit blue, and a yellow jacket with what looked like blocks of black patterned across it. He wore simple denim jeans and white sneakers.
He came closer and closer, one hand waving up as he shifted into a sprint. Yoongi took a step forward, taking a suddenly stunned Jimin along with him by hand again.
"Hey, Hoseokah!" Yoongi called to him. Hoseok. Right, his name was Hoseok.
Jung Hoseok.
"Yoongiaaaaah!" came an energetic, happy voice in an exaggeratingly squeaky tone. Before he knew it, Hoseok was right in front of them, him and Yoongi embracing in an excited hug and many more exaggerating squeaks, this time coming from both of them.
Jimin simply stood there, expression shocked as he continued to simply stare at Hoseok and take him in mentally.
Hoseok's face was kind of long, but not in any unappealing manner. It actually worked well for him. His smile was big, teeth perfect in place and eyes brighter than the sun beating down on everyone. While Hoseok and Yoongi were suddenly yelling positively about something like two best friends finally reconnecting after ten years, Jimin's eyes went lower, his stare sharp and pensive.
Not only was his face good, but his body was actually rather attractive. It was slim, but had good muscle in it. From what Jimin could remember, Yoongi told him that Hoseok, or Hobi, was a dancer just like Jimin. But while Jimin was more of a contemporary dancer, Hoseok had a much different style, Yoongi had stated. It was even a little evident in the fashion choice: Hoseok's style was freestyle popping, locking, krumping, and modern dance.
Which was unfortunately an add to the attraction.
But Jimin himself wasn't personally attracted like that, something else more negative stirred in his chest.
I can see why Yoongi dated him... God, even his aura is breathtaking. Why did these two break up? These words came into Jimin's head as he crossed his arms, his brows furrowing involuntarily. Was it just because of America? Was that the only reason?
He was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts as strong, warm arms took him in and crushed him, and a pleasant vanilla scent invaded his nose.
"Aaah, Jiminie! It's so nice to finally see you, oh my GOD!" Hoseok said loudly, pulling back and gripping Jimin by the shoulders as he stared at him with that never-ending smile. Yoongi laughed at them, coming near to place his arms over both of them.
"Minnie? Meet Hobi." Yoongi said, properly introducing the two.
Jimin's brain was lost for a moment, till he finally remembered basic human politeness, and smiled up at the new friend. "Ah, hi Hoseokshi! I'm.. uh, Jimin, as you probably already.. knew? Um-"
"Awwee, look at him! He's so cute! Aaah, hyung, I wanna squish his fluffy cheeks!" Hoseok interrupted, and fingers came up to pinch at Jimin's face.
Jimin felt bad for feeling so tense around the clearly good intentioned man, but something inside of him couldn't help but stiffen up defensively with every touch. He never protested though, instead letting this new hyung squish him.
Yoongi protested however with a whine, and he was the one who split the happy Hoseok and somewhat-happy-but-very-confused-and-startled Jimin apart. "Ah, no no no, no squish-squashing his cheekies. Only I can do that. Come on boys, back into the bar."
It was Yoongi's touch he leaned into as his boyfriend guided the two back into the building.
Once out of the sun and back under the cool of the building, Jimin sighed. He felt suddenly more relaxed now, maybe he'd feel more at ease with Hoseok now! Maybe it was just the many people and hot sun outside that got him riled up easily.
This is fine! he thought, as the trio made their way back to the seats waiting for them.
Just fine.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Okay so things were not fine.
The longer Jimin, Yoongi, and Hoseok sat together and spoke, the more Jimin realized just how similar he and Hoseok were. It left an annoying feeling in his chest, and he tried to not let it get to him as he sipped at his soju.
"You've always had such high alcohol tolerance, hyung," He heard Hoseok say in the middle of his silently fuming thoughts. "You could always out-drink me. Not surprised to hear Jiminie here can do the same."
At the mention of his name, Jimin glanced at his new hyung. He tried to fix his face, though there may have been some left over bitterness somewhere. "Ah, what was that, Hoseok hyung?"
"Was just talking about how you and Yoongiah have such higher alcohol tolerance than me; I go for one drink and suddenly I don't wanna be anywhere anymore." Hoseok and Yoongi both giggled, Hoseok lifting up his glass of some kind of non-alcoholic drink in some type of glass Jimin didn't care to analyze.
The one he really wanted to analyze was Hoseok.
Yoongi was sitting in between them, and he put an arm around Hoseok, something that made Jimin stifle a growl.
"I remember back then I was trying to get Hoseokie to become my little drinking buddy," Yoongi laughed, his smile unbearably attractive now, and Jimin suddenly felt uneasy about it. Yoongi's eyes were shadowed perfectly by that stupidly sexy, double-pierced black cap. The buttons on his top were unbuttoned a bit at the chest, something Jimin truly hadn't minded until now. Yoongi's sleeves were rolled up a little before they reached the elbows, showing off the sweet view of his upper arms.
Uggghhh, why why why.
Jimin blew out a bit of air in frustration as Yoongi continued to talk.
"But you could never stomach it could you, Seokah?" Yoongi went on. "You couldn't do more than a few beers with me, but you could practice dance moves till your bones went all jelly and I had to actually come and stop you myself. Seems about right. Very much logical."
Seokah? Not even Hoseokah. Seokah.
Jimin felt himself become smaller, nibbling his lower lip as he eyed them both, but nodding to the conversation regardless.
"Hey!" Hoseok playfully yelled all of a sudden, bringing his glass down a little harshly against the counter. "I had to stop you from overdrinking and overworking yourself in the studio in late nights!"
"It payed off though. Whole ass recognized producer and rapper now, baby."
"You think you're the only one with success? Moving to America to improve my dancing career was the best thing ever! I'm even doing a bit of rapping myself now, and a little singing."
"I can sing too, you ain't special."
"But can you dance."
"I'll have you know that I can dance, you loudass, squeakyass, Mickey-Mouseass, background-noise-making-"
"I CAN SING AND DANCE TOO!" Jimin found himself blurting out into the open. The other two paused and stared at him with puzzled expressions. Maybe some others were too, but Jimin's brain really couldn't have cared less at that moment.
Jimin froze beneath Yoongi and Hoseok though. God, why did he yell that out? The two just kept going on and on and on, and Jimin felt the desperate need to include himself. Something all scratchy and snarly inside of him really didn't want those two carrying a full on conversation through just them.
Yoongi quirked a brow at him, and it seemed he was just about to say something until Hoseok beat him to it.
"YES BABY, GET LOUD! WOOOOH!" Hoseok was suddenly shouting, and Jimin ended up melting against the counter, his cheeks burning while his face his in his arms. A big hand rested on his back warmly, and Jimin lifted his face into view barely.
"It's okay baby, you're okay," said a low voice warmly into his ear, and Jimin smiled when he realized Yoongi was leaning over to speak to him softly. Him. Just him. Though some type of guilt swam in his chest, for the most part, Yoongi's voice made him feel better.
"Jiminah dances and sings too, I almost forgot!" Hoseok started up again, cheery and oblivious. Sort of like Jimin was sometimes. "I hear your style is SO so pretty, oh my God. And your voice??? Let? Me? Hear it?"
Despite it being different from Yoongi's calm nature, Hoseok's random supportiveness made him smile all silly, and Jimin slowly raised himself back up. "I mean -- its not that pretty or anything, I just --"
"Nah, it's pretty and he knows it." Yoongi interrupted him, beginning to rub his hand over Jimin's back repeatedly. "He's pretty confident about it, he's just acting all humble now cause he's a mischievous Prince Charming when it comes to meeting new people."
Well I was supposed to be.
"Ah yeah, definitely the most manipulative prince out there!" Jimin said instead, a soft smile coming across his face despite that unwanted, bitter voice in his head. "The Evil Queen better watch out for my ass."
"What about Maleficent--"
"Maleficent can eat me."
"Urusla?"
"Octopus lady has nothing on me."
"Cruella De Vil."
"Her name just means cruel devil. I'm a hot, sexy devil."
"Madame Medusa."
"She did all that shit over a diamond. I do worse for better."
"Queen of Hearts."
"Off with her head, I guess? Wait why are you only naming the women-"
"Mother Gothel."
"Yoongi, is there something you're trying to say."
Their conversation was interrupted with a sudden laugh, and Jimin moved his gaze from Yoongi to Hoseok. Hobi was staring at the couple, grinning humorously at their odd talk, and Jimin grinned back. Everything was suddenly feeling lighter, and Jimin's unwanted feelings began to creep away.
"All I was asking for was Jimin's voice?" Hoseok said with a taunting edge to his voice, but his facial expressions were so relaxed and happy, and Jimin was really being put at ease. "How'd that go from his sweet fairy voice to comparisons of evilness between him and old Disney villians?"
"Yeah, wouldn't they be dead anyway?" Jimin asked out loud, his attention shifting back to Yoongi in a provoking manner. "Why are you comparing me to dead people, hyung."
Yoongi simply rolled his pretty eyes, lifting his glass back to his lips.
"Ah yes, clearly the most evil is the one left alive!" Hoseok joined in, propping his chin on his fist.
Yoongi mumbled a quick "Not for long," as he set his glass back down, then moved his arms above his head to stretch them. "Yah, why are you both just letting me stay in this seat to grow old in and wither away. We gotta do fun shit."
"OH MY GOD YOU'RE RIGHT." Jimin jumped, startled at Hoseok's suddenly booming voice. Hoseok stood up from his seat, setting his hands against the counter as he spoke. "There are plenty of gaming activities we can do in a bar right? There's pool tablessss, cornhoollesss, daarrtss.."
He trailed off, his eyes roaming the area for a moment with a finger tapping against the counter, till his expression shifted in delighted surprise.
"Oh my god, arcade games!" Hoseok said with a smile, suddenly coming up behind Jimin and Yoongi to grip them by the upper arms and pull them up and out of their seats. Jimin turned his head to look, and sure enough he spotted eight to nine colorful gaming machines lined up at one section of the pub.
"Wow, didn't know they had fucking arcade games in this place," Yoongi spoke bluntly, and Jimin quickly downed the rest of his soju before Hoseok was suddenly pulling them along in the direction of the games. "Of course there are fucking arcade games here, hyung!" Hoseok said, running to one that appeared to be some kind of racing game. He sat down immediately, taking out a coin and inserting it into the coin slot.
Jimin glanced around as he headed forward, running his fingers across the gaming machines until he found a very noticeably cute one! He saw from the menu on the screen that it was a little cooking game.
"Oh wow, this place has got everything, hasn't it?" Yoongi commented, hands in his pockets as he strolled around looking at each and every game available in their area.
"If only it had some kind of dancing game," Hoseok responded, then made a goofy noise as his virtual racing car was bumped into by a rival. "Then we really would have everything here!"
"What game will you play, hyungah?" Jimin asked as he reached in his pocket to get his wallet, ready to pay to play a round of this cutesy-seeming game. The menu screen displayed a dark pink block at the top left corner, white text reading "Cooking Cat" across it. Things like "Start", "Help" and "Settings" were below it, along with a reminder to put in some money. A chibi white cat with shiny black eyes stood at the screen, wearing an apron, a chef hat, and holding a pie in one hand. He was surrounded by a few tables.
"Dunno..." Yoongi said, still looking around. "Maybe a classic? King Kong or whatever?"
Jimin slipped his coin into the game's coin slot, set his hand onto the machine's game controls and started the game. "Well whatever you want, I'm sure they've got it, babe!"
And so far the rest of those particular minutes, Jimin played as a little kitty cat cooking in a restaurant to serve the customers, while Hoseok finished his racing game and played other video games with Yoongi. Jimin would have joined in, but this Cooking Cat was rather addictive if he were to be honest, as he actually spent a few more coins for a few more rounds. But soon enough he was satisfied with his virtual success, and eventually left the game to be.
He stepped back, tilting his head and gently cracking the stiff bones of his neck. He turned around to go look for anything else, and caught Yoongi and Hoseok together at a crane master machine. He walked over with what was at first pure curiosity, until he was able to see two stuffed toys held tightly in Yoongi's arms.
Uh oh...
Hoseok was working the machine, determinedly trying to lower the crane onto a kumamon plushie. Yoongi was close beside him, eyes eager and excited while Hoseok's was focused.
Yoongi loves kumamon, said a voice in Jimin's head, why is Hoseok the one trying to win it for him?
Jimin stepped closer, his facial expressions unintentionally tense. His eyes flickered from Kumamon, to Hoseok, to Yoongi, to the plushies already won and in his arms. In one arm was a gray kitty plushie, in the other was a white bunny plushie. Yoongi was nearly shoulder-to-shoulder with the other man, shifting on his feet in clear, giddy excitement. Hoseok himself looked so determined and set on the black bear inside, so set on bringing it to Yoongi. For Yoongi.
Something familiar twisted in Jimin's stomach, but he stayed silent and took to simply standing by them to watch.
The claw appeared to nearly miss Kumamon, and Jimin found himself honestly hoping it did. Because then he could try and win it for Yoongi. Then he could demonstrate his love. Hoseok may have already won two things for their hyung, but Jimin knew that they were nothing on Kumamon.
But unexpectedly, Hoseok pulled the right move at the right second, and the claw latched onto the bear's head. It gripped the plushie and lifted him up from the others. Jimin's shoulders lowered as Hoseok made a squealy noise of joy and victory, Yoongi making an identical noise right after. Jimin bit his lip in irritation as Hoseok placed Kumamon in Yoongi's arms, hearing him say, "Maybe I should buy you this one kumamon blanket I keep seeing around, it's even got a hoodie!"
Jimin stifled a growl, crossing his arms and looking away to glare at nothing. Well I already got him a kumamon HAT so HAH!
...
Though honestly, annoyingly, the kumamon hoodie blanket did sound so much cooler.
Not to mention he's got him a plushie now... I should have been the one to do that, not him!
Jimin glanced at the claw master machine, wondering if he should try to earn something for Yoongi too... But what could top Kumamon? And it didn't look like there were any kumamon plushies left in there, and Jimin's hopes dwindled. He looked back over to the two, and found Hoseok's arm around their hyung as they spoke. Hoseok's smile was wide and beautiful, eyes bright and excited, voice intriguing and bubbly, a tone you wouldn't be able to stop listening to.
And Yoongi was flashing him the famous gummy smile.
And Jimin's brow twitched, cause damn it that was his smile.
"Hey guys!!" Jimin started, coming in to physically split the two up as he put his arms around both and brought his body in between them. "Why not go try all the other games, okay? I wanna play pool tables and darts!"
Even before they could agree, Jimin was already guiding the two away from the arcade area, eyes fiercly roaming the bar to find any other gaming material.
The two seemed to be a bit surprised, but said nothing against it. Hoseok simply chirped something positive, and Yoongi hummed in agreement. Jimin grinned, pressing his lips onto Yoongi's cheek as they walked as a trio, but he didn't catch Yoongi's suspicious glance.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Due to it being just the three of them, they had decided to play Cutthroat Pool at the pool table; each of them gathering their own group of balls and then trying to knock off the other opponents' balls.
Jimin bended himself over the table, aiming his stick to one of his own balls. Through careful concentration, he thrust the stick forward, hitting his ball and having it bump harshly against one of Hoseok's. Hoseok giggled gently, and suddenly pocketed one of Yoongi's balls.
Hmph, Jimin thought, feeling irritation spike up in him despite the short vengeful victory he just felt. He had been purposely trying to pocket all of Hoseok's balls first, so that he and Yoongi could simply focus on each other. But then Hoseok and Yoongi would go after each other, then Jimin, which unfortuantely evened each of them out.
"Yah, fuck you," Yoongi playfully cursed, taking quick vengeance as his ball suddenly shot and took out another one of Hoseok's. Jimin quickly took this chance to pocket another ball of Hoseok's, and earned a little squealy scream from the hyung.
"Oh my god WHY ARE YOU GANGING UP ON ME!" Hoseok shouted, bringing his arms forward to try and protect all of his precious pool table balls. Jimin grinned, feeling a warm sensation of satisfaction in his chest.
Because we're the couple now, a meaner side of him couldn't help but think, and he'd be lying if he said his grin was only a little wicked.
But then there was a sudden loud CLANK.
And two of Jimin's balls shot away and around about.
"Hah," laughed Yoongi's sweetly low voice, "Shoulda been keeping an eye on your group, Jiminah!" Jimin glanced at Yoongi, feeling almost betrayed before he remembered Yoongi wasn't in on his evil little plan of pushing Hoseok back in even the slightest of ways.
Though I really shouldn't be, said a kinder voice somewhere in Jimin's head, and he internally groaned at himself. It was like having an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other; It really mixed up his emotions and blurred how he viewed Hoseok.
So in the end, he simply laughed it off and went back to simply trying to win the game, shaking off both the guilt and the irritation until it was finished.
And surprisingly or not surprisingly enough, it had been Hoseok who had won. And then he started victory dancing around the pool table, shaking and moving his body in a rather happy manner while making happy noises. Jimin felt the sudden need to join him in his little charade, but the tingling envy in him stopped him from doing so.
So instead, he simply suggested a game of darts next.
They stood as three, side by side: Yoongi on one end, Hoseok in between, and Jimin on the other end. The order irked Jimin further seeing as Hoseok was now literally between him and his boyfriend, but he kept up a smile for it anyway.
Ahead of them was one black and white dart board pinned on the wall, and three of them took turns tossing one black dart into it. Jimin wasn't too good but also wasn't too bad at it either, Hoseok himself was getting nowhere near the bullseye, but Yoongi had pretty good aim and was the closest to winning out of the three.
"Ahh, Yoongiaaah!" Hoseok cheered on, his face in a wide smile as he threw a dart that nearly missed the board entirely. "Aish, why are you so good? We're not playing basketball, calm down with the aim!"
"It's not -- my fault -- you're bad -- at throwing -- little missles -- at a board," Yoongi taunted, pausing his speech when he threw each dart. Hoseok whined and complained at Yoongi for overdoing his turn, and Jimin laughed.
Yoongi turned back to whine right back at Hoseok, and Jimin took his chance to throw a dart at the board next. He managed to hit near the inner circle, and felt another warm, bubbly feeling in his chest. Yoongi's darts were the only ones who hit the inner circle, and were rather close to the bullseye. If Jimin could just manage to go in a little closer...
One dart came in, and hit even closer to Yoongi's darts than Jimin's own did. Stunned, he instantly turned to Hoseok with wide eyes.
"OOOOHH GUYS LOOK LOOK, IMMA BEAT YOONGI HYUNG, IMMA BEAT YOONGI HYUNG," Hoseok squealed, stomping around on his feet in place. Yoongi laughed at him, said "Cute," and then turned back around to throw his dart with an easy movement of his wrist. It landed right in the middle of the entire board, stabbing into the small red dot and surpassing Jimin and Hoseok both.
Jimin smiled at this, pleased with his baby's skillful victory while Hoseok clapped loudly, and threw himself onto Yoongi in excitement, something that certainly brought Jimin's attention back directly. Hoseok appeared as excited as a young child who just realized their parents bought them a bouncy house for their birthday, and had his hands all over Yoongi's shoulders.
"Hyung, hyung, hyung!" Hoseok chanted, stuck to Yoongi like glue. "What, what, what?" Yoongi asked, making an adorable, "nonchalant" face at the excitable Hoseok. "Teach me, teach me, teach me!" Hoseok answered, bouncing on his feet now and using Yoongi's shoulders as leverage.
"Teach you my masterful skills?" Yoongi stared. "Hoseokah, you do realize my level of talent takes absolutely years to master, right? It's not something I can simply "teach" you."
Hoseok rolled his eyes, finally letting go of the eldest and stepping back to look at the dart board. "Okay yeah, you're good at basketball and have impeccable shooting aim. But I also have the ability of what you call jelly-bones, and therefore should have the privilege to be taught."
Jimin simply wandered over to remove all the darts from the board as he listened to the two go back and forth on silly arguments, feeling something both icy and fiery run inside him now.
"Hey hyungs! How about a game of cornhole?"
Jimin decided to sit this one out, seeing as how there were only two platforms to catch the beanbags. Yoongi and Hoseok had the idea of taking terms, but Jimin insisted on sitting back to watch. He held a highball glass of champagne instead, sitting on a chair just nearby to observe the two.
Hoseok and Yoongi were now quite some feet away from the platforms, each taking a turn to toss a beanbag into the hole. A land on the board itself scored one point, but a land in the hole scored three, and the two were competing to see who could get to twenty points first.
"Ah shit --" Hoseok cursed as his yellow beanbag missed his matching board, instead going over it entirely. Yoongi laughed, scoring his red beanbag into his own matching board. "No, you're cheating. You've rigged it! You've rigged it somehow!" Hoseok said, landing another bag onto the board.
"How the fuck do you rig cornhole?" Yoongi countered, effortlessly scoring yet another three points. "It's not like I'm messing with wires or anything?"
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you how cornhole can be rigged?" Hoseok went on, throwing another shot. This one finally went into the hole, bringing Hoseok three points into the game, and he threw a victorious fist into the air while Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Also, you could have made my bags heavier or something!"
"I don't even know how beanbags are properly made, dummy."
"You could have paid the vendor to fuck with it!"
Yoongi tossed a beanbag, this time it hitting the board and giving him just one more point instead. "Aish, look at what you've down now. Stop distracting me so that I can kick your ass, Seokah."
"Well since my beanbags are clearly so much heavier, maybe it's fair I distract you!" Hoseok responded, and the two went back and forth on the silly argument. Jimin smiled behind his glass as he took another sip, feeling both bubbly and spiky about this. One half of him thought seeing Hoseok and Yoongi like this was adorable, and it intruiged him to think that this was probably how they were even back then. But then the other half of him despised just that. The possessive part of him felt irritated at the thought that the two were going through habits they could have had as a romantic couple.
And in the next moment Hoseok had eleven points while Yoongi had seventeen, and their argument only spiced up further.
"I don't have to suck a vendor's dick to make him sabatoge a game for me," Yoongi laughed a laugh that Jimin thought was a little too attractive, and watched as Hoseok got another hit in the hole, adding three more points to himself. Yoongi didn't seem worried though, and Jimin knew why seeing as how he himself was secretly keeping score.
"You don't have to, but you could! I wouldn't put it past you, hyung." Hoseok said, and Yoongi picked up another one of his own bags, and took careful aim. He took his time though, glancing back at Hoseok with dark eyes.
"And why is that?" he questioned with a challenging tone, and Jimin couldn't help but furrow his brows. Hoseok however, raised his in interest. "You've always been a dirty person, hyung. Dangerous, seductive, risky. Hey, what's your "tongue technology" count again?" Hoseok made his way over to a counter where he ordered another drink at previously, his words slithering around with some kind of goal.
"Why you askin'? Think I could toss this bag with my tongue instead?" Yoongi watched after Hoseok, the two locked in a battle of provocative staring. Jimin glanced between the two, the spiky part of him growing sharper.
"I mean, you could try! I wouldn't suggest it though, since this is your final chance to win." Hoseok grinned, holding his cup up to his mouth to drink, but keeping Yoongi's gaze. Yoongi tongued his cheek for a moment in silence, his eyes sharp and pensive.
There was one silent moment between them all.
"Don't need my tongue when I got fingers, dummy." Yoongi said, and then without breaking eye contact with the other, launched his beanbag with one hand. And it went through the hole, adding the final three points Yoongi needed to win.
"Aw, what the hell???" Hoseok groaned, setting his cup back on the counter and marching back over. "You were supposed to be too psyched out to throw properly, and then I could have done it and won! Uugghh."
Yoongi laughed at him, his smile all gummy as he did a little victory dance.
Jimin was feeling very mixed feelings
That entire exchange between the two irked him badly. Even if the two weren't really flirting, it was flirty enough to make Jimin grip at his glass hard enough to hurt. And for a moment he was afraid he'd actually break it.
"Aish, Jiminah, hyung's so cool isn't he?" Hoseok questioned, wandering over to Jimin with a lazy grin. Yoongi came along, still somewhat dancing in his steps as he was filled with very fresh pride. "Babe, did you see what I did? Wasn't I awesome? I didn't have to even look that last time!"
...
And then Jimin's irritation went down, his chest going entirely bubbly at how cute Yoongi was being now. He stood up from his seat, embracing his happy boyfriend in a hug. Yoongi felt so warm in his arms, Jimin could never not think about it every time they hugged.
"Yes, was so cool, jagiya," Jimin responded, planting a kiss against Yoongi's cheek. "Was almost sexy, actually!"
"Almost?" Yoongi made a face at him, and Jimin took the opportunity to catch his lips in his own for a short moment. But at the same time, Jimin couldn't help but think about Hoseok. So he glanced at the other man, his eyes dark and narrow.
And he pressed his lips back onto Yoongi's for a longer moment.
Hoseok, who had been drinking at his cup again, coughed a bit. Jimin smiled against Yoongi's lips, and pulled back. Yoongi's eyes were wider now, looking down at Jimin in apparent surprise. Jimin simply stared back up at him with a mischievous smile, and brought a hand up to boop at Yoongi's nose with one finger.
"That hat makes you look really sexy, you know?" Jimin said, trailing his finger over Yoongi's jawline. "I wanna see your hair though, take it off." His finger went lower, going down the side of Yoongi's neck now. Yoongi blinked at him, glancing from him to Hoseok.
He's mine, Jimin thought, staring at Yoongi, but his thoughts directed at Hoseok.
Yoongi grinned, his teeth out in a sexy display as he brought a hand up to slide the black pierced cap and revealing his hair. He brought another hand up to run his fingers through his beautiful ash gray hair, and Jimin took to running his own fingers through it as well.
"Ugh, do I have hat hair?" Yoongi asked, his smile lazy and his eyes dark.
"You have hot hair." Don't judge him, Jimin had to say that at that exact moment. The opportunity of any kind of pun never could never be passed up. Yoongi made another face at him, and Jimin kissed him a third time.
"Aigoo, baby, we got company," Yoongi said, his tone teasing, embrassed, but not serious. "I know!" Jimin chirped back, expression and attitude bubbly as he moved off of Yoongi to face Hoseok. He was simply standing there, holding one drink in hand with a slightly bewildered expression.
Jimin simply gave him a half smile, eyes glinting darkly, challengingly.
--------------------------------------------------------------
The day went on and into the evening, the three playing shuffleboard, table hockey, and multiple board games. Sometimes Yoongi won, sometimes Hoseok won, and sometimes Jimin won. And sometimes they'd place bets on who had to buy who a drink.
Things were pretty fun, but Jimin slowly grew a little more passive aggressive towards Hoseok as they continued. Especially when he kept seeing how close Hoseok and Yoongi were. Especially when Yoongi kept making comparisons between Hoseok and Jimin.
They were never bad comparisons, but what set Jimin off was the fact that he kept being reminded of how similar he and his new hyung were. Hoseok would laugh at it and make some comment about how Yoongi clearly had a type, and Jimin would just smile widely and lean into Yoongi if he was able to.
Right now they were sitting at a table for three, drinking more beverages along with a meal. Jimin himself had ordered korean fried chicken with a watermelon-soju cocktail, Yoongi had gotten tteokbokki with cheongju, and Hoseok got pan-fried pork and kimchi dumplings with wine. So they were all enjoying themselves pretty well at the table, or at least Yoongi and Hoseok were.
Jimin had to silently stuff his face through the conversation to avoid saying anything snappy.
"Ugh, I can't believe you remember that." Yoongi groaned, hiding his face in one big hand as Hoseok giggled energetically. "We both know I've got no trouble remembering things!" Hoseok started, popping a dumpling into his mouth before he continued, "Bringing things up after we vowed never to speak of it again, however..."
"Uuggghhhh."
"You wanted to do a little thing near a church, and we both got chased away by a mod of angry homophobic Christians!" Hoseok went on, and Yoongi threw him a sharp glare. It didn't stop Hoseok from laughing though.
"You agreed."
"You kept pestering and whining to me about it until I did!"
"Point is, you were in on it with me," Yoongi barked, slapping his drink down on the table as the alcohol got to him. "We weren't even doing anything really dirty, all I did was put my arm around you and, what, kiss your cheek or whatever? Then someone saw us and --"
"And then it all went down like dominoes." Hoseok finished for him, and Yoongi groaned in irritation at the thought. "Yep, reminds me of something Jiminie and I did a few months ago," Yoongi sipped at his drink for once more, and Jimin's eyes turned to him, eager yet hesitant to hear what he had to say about him.
"We had went around in a car to do... stuff... but it was pretty close to a public area?" Yoongi squinted his eyes, seeming rather hesitant to say the next part. "... Drive-In public? And then we saw a police car and we had to book it all sweaty and naked."
Hoseok and Jimin laughed simultaneously at this, Jimin almost choking on his chicken.
"It's funny, I had to plead with both of you about things like this," Yoongi continued, and then Jimin felt his energy go down. "You two are just too innocent, I think."
"Uh? Me? I'm not the angel you're making me out to be, man," Hoseok responded, and then he looked at Jimin. "Jiminah though? A complete and total angel-fairy hybrid. How the hell did you even score him in the first place?" Jimin silently sipped at his cocktail, looking from Hoseok to Yoongi over his glass.
"Eh, yeah. Hoseokah, you're innocent in like... the bright, shiny, annoying way." Yoongi answered, and then he met Jimin's gaze. "Jiminah, you're innocent in like... the softer pastel way that doesn't burn my eyes out nor my energy."
Jimin felt a sense of pride well up within his chest, and he lowered his eyes to his drink, playing shy. This got Yoongi to awe at him, and he scooped up a spoonful of his tteokbokki and fed it to Jimin's open mouth.
Hoseok giggled through his own meal, his smile so wide. So bright. So pretty.
It got on Jimin's nerves.
I wish his smile wasn't so perfect. But my smile is better, right?
And as if the older had challenged him, the corners of Jimin's lips pulled up into a wide smile, his eyes shining with intense passive aggression that he shot directly at Hoseok. This angry side of him wanted Hoseok to feel the intensity of his stare full-on.
Despite this, Hoseok paid it no mind, and just went back to chowing down. But Jimin did feel someone else's sharp eyes on him, and he didn't have to take a lucky guess to know it was from his very observant boyfriend.
Jimin turned to him with a completely innocent look, but Yoongi's dark eyes (even darker while overshadowed by his hat) were suspicious. Before the oldest could say anything though, Hoseok's voice came back.
"OH MY GOD THEY'RE SERVING LITERAL PANCAKES RIGHT NOW, HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT."
Hoseok shot out of his chair and gripped Yoongi by the arm, pulling him up to come with him. "HYUNG I NEED YOUR HELP -- Jiminah you stay here, the big boys will bring the plates!"
Jimin burst into a small laugh over that. He personally thought he had a little more muscle than Yoongi or Hoseok, but he didn't feel the need to argue against it, simply nodding and waving. It could have had something to do with the fact that Yoongi was eyeing at him with that "This isn't over" look, but Jimin avoided his eyes. He only looked back up once he saw the two a distance away, Hoseok yelling something about how "they were gonna get so fucking full".
And with the two away, Jimin took this time to reflect on himself. He rest his face in both his hands, trying to sort out his odd feelings today. He hasn't been like this in so long. Sure he could get occasionally jealous of any other specific strangers around Yoongi, but it never got this bad anymore. Jimin thought he had matured from this, but he never encountered an ex partner of a lover's before. Never encountered such a spot-on perfect one, either. It made him feel stupid. It made him feel small. It made him feel angry.
He sat like that in thought for a few more minutes, until someone sat back at one of the seats. It was Hoseok.
"Hey, Jiminie!" he said, setting down two plates of wide, fluffy pancakes coated in syrup and topped with butter. Jimin had already nearly finished his chicken, but he still had more room left in his stomach seeing as how he was a pretty big eater. "Waaah, Hoseok hyungah, this looks delicious!" Jimin stated, eyeing his own plate in awe. But then he noticed that Yoongi hadn't come back yet, and looked at Hoseok questioningly. "Ah, where's hyung?"
"Oh! He's getting his own plate and some other stuff!" Hoseok waved it off with a sassy flick of his wrist, then started digging into his pancakes. "... I also kind of asked him if I could just have a moment with you...!"
...
Uh oh.
Uh-fucking-oh.
Jimin froze in his seat, simply staring at Hoseok in shocked silence. After slowly taking a bite of his sweet meal, Hoseok looked back up to meet Jimin's stare...
"Jiminah, do you feel threatened by me?"
... And then Jimin's heart beat a little faster, and his hands went a little shakier, and his voice went a little quieter.
"I... I-I'm...!"
And after failing to come up with any lie or excuse, he ended up blurting his feelings and thoughts out right into Hoseok's face.
"I dunno, okay?" he started, lowering his eyes to the table shamefully. "I wasn't expecting to feel like this when I met you! I haven't felt like this in SO long! I was planning on being your friend and enjoying today and everything being okay between us, but then I saw you and then -- and then I met you! And you're so awesome and it makes me feel weird cause I love Yoongi so so much and to know you two dated once, I just..!"
He paused to catch his breath, resting his face on one hand as he rambled. "I... I think I did feel threatened? I still do... But... you're also such a good person, and sometimes I like you and wanna hug you and squish your face in my hands, and sometimes I wanna just --" He proceeded to make a choking gesture at the air, causing Hoseok to widen his eyes and raise his brows in silence.
"And it really doesn't help that you and I are really similar in things.. It makes me think weird thoughts, and I feel so stupid for feeling all these things, but I can't help it, you know?" Jimin huffed, finally meeting Hoseok's gaze with a very guilty one. "I feel protective of him... Like, if I'm not careful and you're a little too awesome, he might... He might.. Like you more than me, or whatever..."
Hoseok was silent, watching Jimin with a face that wasn't really readable other than surprise.
"I don't even know what the reason behind your breakup was..." Jimin continued solemnly, "And the thing is, I can definitely see you two making a good couple again! Even as friends now, the chemistry is still so so visible. You know a lot about him, he knows a lot about you, you recite memories and you laugh at your inner jokes. And I don't know what to do... I never thought I had competition with anyone else over Yoongiah, our relationship is so strong and healthy, we've been together for a good amount of time, but then you came and -- and for the first time in a long, long while, I felt like I suddenly had competition again. Like... a boss rival...!"
...
There was silence. Jimin poked at his chicken for a bit before putting one in his mouth to timidly chew, and Hoseok was simply blinking, looking at nothing. But then after a little bit, he spoke.
"Jiminie... I had.. no idea I was making you feel this way..!" was the first thing that came out of Hoseok's mouth, his tone more gentle than Jimin expected it to be. He took the last piece of his fried chicken into his mouth, chewing as if to distract himself.
"And you know what..?" Hoseok went on, "I totally understand why you feel that way. Yoongiah did tell me you were a sensitive person. Confident, but sensitive. I should have probably helped you out earlier..!" He adjusted himself in his seat, resting his chin on both fists. "Well... yeah! Yoongi hyung and I are still very, very close... We're especially energetic today, seeing as how we haven't physically seen each other in so long.. And I'm pretty energetic cause I'm getting to met you! Jiminah, he's spoke about you so much, you've no idea! I already knew a lot about you before I even got on the plane here."
Jimin felt himself smile at that, his cheeks warming up. Still though, he kept his eyes low, feeling rather ashamed. However, Hoseok continued.
"Yoongiah and I love each other, but not in that way anymore. Honestly, I see him as more of a mean older brother than an ex lover! Anytime we bring things up from the past is simply for humor, to belittle each other. Plus, I kinda wanted to embarrass him in front of you." Hoseok raised his glass to sip more at his wine, then set the emptied glass down, pushing it away along with the emptied plate that use to hold his dumplings and pork. "I know a lot about him yeah, but people can still change even through the smallest time. He seems so much happier now than back then, he's even gained a little more weight!"
Jimin picked up the fork from his plate, finally digging it into his own set of pancakes. He wasn't too focused on it though, his attention still trained on Hoseok's words...
"There could be some things that I know of him that you don't, but I seriously doubt it. He's said you've both talked a whole lot about your past, and I bet you know more about him than I do now. Cause like I said, people can change. And he's definitely changed in a good way. He got a glow up." Hoseok smiled, stretching out his arms and then folding them behind his head, confidently leaning back against his seat. "You glowed him up, Jiminie!"
Jimin felt himself smile more and more through Hoseok's words. Even as he chewed on his piece of pancake, the sweetness of the cake couldn't compare to the sweetness of this conversation. He finally lifted his gaze back up to a very relaxed-looking Hobi, and Jimin himself relax further.
"Yoongi hyung and I didn't just break it off cause I had to go to America. Hell, the break up is what helped me go, actually!" Hoseok leaned forward again to keep eating at his own pancake, clearly sharing a sweet tooth with Jimin. And this time, Jimin didn't mind the similarity. "Sometimes a relationship just kinda dulls out though, you know? Our thing was good temporarily, but it takes a lot more work and compatibility to make such a thing permanent. We both decided we were much better off as friends, and ended things mutually!"
Jimin nodded to this, lips agape just slightly. Having finally got the answer to that particular question he worried about so much, he felt something lift off him. As if the ocean that had been holding him down was suddenly drained, and he felt as light as air.
"Now, Jiminah," Hoseok continued, and Jimin kept eye contact with him. "You and I are very similar indeed, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. I dunno if I can say Yoongi has a type or not, but I honestly think he just met us at different stages in life. So it's less to do with him "having a type", and more of him just finding that person that could do him the best at that time! My time with him is dead and over, but your time with him is alive and still so strong! It's gonna live on, Jiminie."
Jimin still couldn't think of what to say back, but the smile he had on his face was definitely the most genuine one he's given Hoseok today.
"After all, Yoongiah and I were young and dumb! You two are young, dumb, and mature!" Hoseok glanced over at Yoongi, and Jimin looked over his shoulder to see his Yoongiah carrying a stack of pancakes and and something else Jimin couldn't really see, as the other wasn't facing him. He turned back to Hoseok when he spoke again.
"So with that all out the way, our similarities don't have to rival each other. Instead of being enemies, I wanna be best friends..! I'd like to use this potential for better." Hoseok took out his phone, and went through it. "... So I'm giving you my number!"
And Jimin didn't fight against that.
They both exchanged phone numbers, and sitting there, eating pancakes with this hyung? He was in the greatest mood he could have had today. They both chattered on about silly things, Jimin finally letting his inner massive-talker out. So he was in for a gentle shock when he felt a pair of lips suddenly at his ear.
"Ah!" he quickly turned around at the ticklish sensations, and was face-to-face with Yoongi, who was looking down at him with very gently dark eyes.
"Hi baby..~ Sorry I took so long," Yoongi said, sitting down with a sigh as he set his own plate down on the table. "You feelin' okay?"
Jimin looked at Yoongi for a second, then to Hoseok. And a warm, genuine smile ran across his face, turning back to Yoongi and leaning over to kiss him on the cheek in the softest, sweetest way he could manage. "Yeah baby, I'm.. feeling pretty good right now actually..!"
Yoongi looked Jimin over for a moment, glancing at Hoseok, who simply smiled back at him. Yoongi chuckled and shook his head, and then leaned down to pull out what seemed like the thing Jimin couldn't recognize earlier.
Except now he could recognize it!
It was an extra large white puppy stuffie, wrapped in a blanket to keep from being seen. Jimin gasped in immediate awe, his eyes turning into practical hearts as he reaches out for it. "BABYYYY, OH MY GOOOSSHH!"
"I uh.. wanted to get you something, didn't want you to know though," Yoongi said quietly, touching at one of his ears shyly. He didn't get to do it for very long though, seeing as how Jimin threw himself at him and started kissing all over that exact ear. Hoseok choked on his pancake, laughing, but making a face as if he were disgusted. Yoongi gave him the middle finger, his eyes shutting and a lazy smile splitting his face as Jimin continued to kiss all over him.
The rest of that day at the bar was absolutely perfect.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Jimin and Yoongi both made their way through the living room door giggly and somewhat drunk, carrying stuffies and having incredibly off-topic conversations.
He and Yoongi had finally gone back home late in the night after hugging Hoseok goodbye, and after spending the rest of their time quite well, Jimin was ready to just get Yoongi in bed. Sex. No sex. Whichever. He just really wanted Yoongi in bed with him. Yoongi tossed the keys and his hat on the couch lazily along with the stuffies, and the two wandered into their bedroom.
"Can't believe you were jealous of him this entire time, baby," Yoongi giggled, wrapping his arms around Jimin and back-hugging him, pressing a few kisses against the back of Jimin's neck, the fabric covering it having been lowered. Jimin tilted his head a bit with a tiny little moan, a small smirk coming across his face. "Oh, you're bringing that up now?"
"You thought I wasn't gonna bring it up at all?" Yoongi countered, resting his chin against Jimin with a wide, evil grin. He bit his lip, walking Jimin further into the room and closer to the bed. "My little baby, can't believe he was panicking over me like that."
"Shut up," Jimin mumbled, not even meaning it. Yoongi turned him around in his arms, and their lips locked rather quickly, and Jimin's hands ran up Yoongi's chest and over his shoulders. "My baby was jealous.." Yoongi mumbled against his lips, and he felt a hand slide down over his ass, and he's gripped harshly. Jimin squeaked, and he felt the back of his legs hit the bed.
"Say it.." Yoongi mumbled again, "Say you were jealous.. Tell me what was going on in that mind of yours.."
Jimin grumbled for a moment, his brows furrowing in gentle frustration. With the things that happened today and the alcohol in his system, he was easily falling victim to Yoongi's advances, and a warm fire fell all over his body. ".. Was jealous.. Didn't like your closeness, got all fired up when you two even talked to each other.."
"Pff.." Yoongi laughed softly against his mouth, and he pulled away to press more kisses onto Jimin's neck. "Yeah, I thought so... You were acting a lot clingier than usual..~" Yoongi whispered, and Jimin was suddenly, swiftly pinned on the bed mattress. His hands were held down by Yoongi's bigger ones, and Yoongi's warm kisses grew hotter as they trailed up his cheek and to his ear.
And then, he heard Yoongi's dark, low voice growl right at the sensitive entrance.
"Let hyung show you why you've got no reason to worry, yeah..?~"
--------------------------------------------------------------
Jimin was on his phone, walking around with a cup of coffee in one hand, up somewhat early in the morning and dressed in a robe. Yoongi was in an oversized white tee and a pair of simple briefs, sitting on the couch and lazily watching television in their living room. They were both pretty awake, having already eaten and sort of washed up. Needles to say, they... got quite the good rest last night.
Jimin left the app he was on, and instead went into messages to text his newest contact.
To: Happy Hobi ☉

Good morniiing ❤
And not even thirty seconds later, Hoseok's ID is popping up on his phone screen, and Jimin takes a mental note to get a picture of Hoseok to save for his call screen. He answered the call, and was immediately welcomed with a bright, energetic voice.
"JIMINAAAAH!"
"HOBIAAAAH!"
"Waaaaah," Yoongi adds in blandly, making a face at Jimin's sudden yelling.
"Jiminie, did things go well at home??" Hoseok asked through the phone, and Jimin gave a pervy grin that the other was unable to see. "Oh things went more than well, if you know what I mean...~"
"Oh -- OH! OH! OOHHH!" Hoseok suddenly started shouting through the phone, and Jimin laughed, taking a sip of his coffee as he walked past a little mirror on the wall. Even if in his sight for just a few seconds, the blue and purple hickeys were clear as day across his neck. Smiling to himself, he leaned against the wall, eyes wandering over to his distracted Yoongi hyung.
"Hey Jiminah!" Hoseok's voice caught his attention again, "I've been meaning to bring something up with you and hyungah!"
"Oh yeah?" Jimin asked, raising his mug to drink at his coffee again. "What is it?"
"Yoongiah told me you have an ex too?" Hoseok went on, "One from a while ago he hasn't properly met yet, that you're still good friends with!"
Jimin immediately catches on, moving his mug away as a fresh wave of excitement takes over him. "Oh my god, you're right! Yoongi's never actually been able to see MY ex either!" Jimin said loudly, and Yoongi turns his eyes onto him.
"What's that baby?" he asks, and Jimin quickly heads over to him, placing his mug down on the coffee table and standing near Yoongi. "Baby, you still need to meet my ex too!! You've never been able to cause things never really came up, I haven't seen him in person in so long either! I SHOULD INTRODUCE YOU TWO AND WE CAN ALL MEET UP!"
"Me too??" Hoseok questioned quickly.
"YES, YOU TOO!!" Jimin answered just as quickly.
"WOOH!" Hoseok wooped through the phone.
Yoongi laughed at the entire thing, scratching at his head in interest and curiosity. "Yeah, I'd love to meet your ex, babe!" Yoongi said, taking Jimin by the hand and pulling him into his lap. Jimin rested his back against Yoongi's broad chest almost automatically, Yoongi in turn snaking his arms around Jimin's smaller figure.
"What's his name again, anyway?"
Jimin shut his eyes, humming a soft tune as curious Hoseok had gone silent.
"Jeon Jungkook!"
