Notes:

WOOOH! Happy one year anniversary to one of the stories I'm proud the most of! You've been waiting, and the sequel is finally here!

In reality I just took like a near year break and then went to write it in a span of a few months just like the last one, and I immediately started writing this when I realized that the first story would be a year old this September! And THAT gave me the energy to write.

Without further adieu, please enjoy, and be sure to read the first installment before this one, thank you! ❤

Work Text:

Yoongi hadn't seen Jimin so excited in a while.

It had been maybe two months since he first introduced his current lover to his ex. Two months since the cute little "catastrophe" that had accured  (though the only one really experiencing that was Jimin) at the time. Two months since two of the most bubbly and energetic people had started to bounce around in his life at the same time, for the first time.

Yoongi was so glad Jimin was the way he was. He may have gotten adorably jealous and even remotely possessive, but that was normal. Not many would agree to meet an ex, especially not even like the idea of their lover still being good friends with them after all this time. Jimin, even if he may have felt uncharacteristically threatened for a moment, still grew to love Hoseok and move past any irritating thoughts.

So, Yoongi owed this to him.

Now that Jimin had gotten into recent contact with his own ex lover, who had also ironically been out of his life for a while, Yoongi was going to meet the young man.

The young man named Jeon Jungkook.

Yoongi didn't feel anything negative at all, honestly he was pretty excited, which was unusual for him as an introvert meeting new people. Specifically one who had dated his boyfriend before. But like said, he wasn't feeling anything negative.

Unlike the time they had went to go first meet Hoseok, Yoongi and Jimin were not dressing to impress. For one, they had learned last time not to dress so warmly when it was so hot outside (Jimin especially), even if they were staying inside the bar that whole day. And for two, Jimin had told him that Jungkook said he wanted to take them out for fun outdoor activities. Ones where they'd be getting possibly wet and possibly dirty and possibly sweaty.

Normally Yoongi would be one to reject this, but again, he owed Jimin this much.

"You ready, babe?"

Speak of the devil.

There he was, cute and smiley, dressed in a simple white tee shirt and a pair of red shorts that hugged him a little too perfectly. His blonde hair was in the sweetest half-assed man bun Yoongi had ever seen, and he knows Jimin definitely didn't take much time to do anything to it this morning.

"Look at you," Yoongi said, coming over to Jimin and wrapping his arms around his waist, "You normally dress this cute for ex partners?"

"Hm, I'm not sensing jealousy now, am I?" Jimin teased with a slick grin, wrapping his arms back over Yoongi's shoulders and pressing a quick kiss against his lips, before he left Yoongi's embrace to quickly go to a backpack sitting on the floor. Yoongi watched him curiously, stepping closer.

"Okay first of all, don't be a hypocrite," Yoongi teased back with a straight face, crossing his arms as if he were serious, "And secondly, what did you pack in there anyway?"

"Things we need!" Jimin chirped, tone bright and eyes shiny, "Like waterbottles, sun screen, sun glasses, chap stick, swimming trunks, face rags..." He paused, glancing over to another backpack that was propped up against the dresser, which Yoongi hadn't even noticed.

He tilted his gaze up to the mirror to take a look at himself. His gray hair too wasn't done the neatest, but he knew he didn't necessarily have to worry about that. He wore a white top as well, his own being sleeveless, but that detail was hidden under the black cardigan he had over it. He had simple denim shorts. It was summer, so they both dressed for the ready.

"That bag there has two body towels fitted into it," Jimin continued, standing up and throwing the first back pack onto himself, "Go get that second one. Your phone battery is full, right?"

Yoongi obeyed silently, grabbing the backpack and putting it onto him, and humming a yes as he checked his phone. Jimin gave a curt nod as he excitedly stepped to the bedroom door, ready to head out.

"Let's go, jagiya!"

----------------------------------------

The two had gone to pick Jung Hoseok up, and were now currently all on their own bikes. Throughout that whole time, Hoseok had probably been the loudest and most excited. Jimin said he had informed Jungkook that a new face would be coming with them, so Hoseok was rightfully happy to make a new friend. They peddled with their backpacks on their backs and helmets on their heads, both Jimin and Hoseok having been very firm on safety precautions (which Yoongi found kinda cute).

Hoseok wore a white muscle shirt and black shorts, his black hair moving in the wind that was pushed toward his face as he biked, trying his best not to go too far ahead of the couple. Jimin was the one who knew the exact location where they were supposed to meet.

"So, where are we going again, anyway?" Yoongi panted, eyes squinting as he focused on not accidentally falling over with his bike. The sun was irritating today, but he knew it'd be worth it.

"We're heading to a grassy opening!" Jimin replied immediately, voice bright and excited, the sun and workout clearly not bothering him, "We're gonna have a picnic first. You know? A nice meal before we really get going?"

"Food?" Hoseok questioned with a high voice, "We're gonna have food?"

"Yes, Hoseokah, food," Yoongi answered blatantly, licking his lips as he concentrated at his peddling. He was hot, he was hungry, he was tired. He didn't want to grow snappy, so he was very happy when Jimin had stated they were getting close.

The trio came closer and closer to the grassy opening, and Yoongi felt a mix of weird feelings in his gut. Like, "Yes finally, I get to catch a break and collapse on the grass and die,"  and "Jungkook is here, I'm gonna meet Jungkook," and it gave him a weird boost of energy to reach the stop. The three parked their bikes near a tree with a massive top of leaves that were wide enough to give everyone a good shade. They took off their helmets with a collective huff as they leaned their bikes against it. Nobody would come here to steal them or anything.

Jimin had taken Yoongi's hand before he could even catch a proper break, and lead him away from the cooling shade and back in to the heat, with Hoseok bouncing closely behind. And as they tread further away from the tree and further in to the opening, Yoongi could see... something.

No, someone.

A man was jogging closer to them. He wore a white, slightly oversized tee with denim shorts, and a black mass of hair bounced along his face with each energetic step. Yoongi kept his cool of course, whereas Jimin and Hoseok quickly got excited. The man looked big even from far away, so as he got closer and it was clear just how muscular and broad this dude was, Yoongi furrowed his brows a little.

Yoongi slowly could see more of his features as he waved his hand at them happily. His figure was clearly tall and strong, and there were full sleeve tattoos across his arms. His face however, was clearly young and childish, eyes an innocent round which made his nose prominent in a kind of cute way. But even with that, his facial structure was clearly still strong and healthy. His face along with his body was charming in a weird way. He was handsome for sure, and he smiled at everyone warmly.

He was Jungkook.

He and Jimin collided in to a hug first, and Yoongi found himself going stiff.

"JUNGKOOKAAAAAAH!"

"JIMINSHIIIIIII!"

Jimin quickly ran and embraced the younger, taller boy, and Jungkook lifted Jimin up in to a little spin. Once he set him back on the ground, Jimin immediately tugged Jungkook's arm toward Yoongi and Hoseok. Yoongi must have been making some kind of face at that moment judging from the way Hoseok nudged the hell out of his arm, and he worked to flatten his face as much as possible.

Hoseok went to greet him first, quickly taking Jungkook's hand in both of his own, and leaving the younger suprised.

"My name's Hoseok!" he started, "But you can call me Hoseok, or even Hoseok!"

"He means Hobi, or even Hyung," Yoongi chose at this exact moment to step in, walking forward and reaching his hand out, "I'm Yoongi, the boyfriend."

Jungkook smiled at him with a friendly, cute expression, and took the other's hand almost shyly.

"I'm Jung.. oh, wait you already know that," he frowned for a second, before shaking his head and smiling again, "So you guys are all older than me right? I wouldn't mind calling all of you hyung!"

Hoseok and Jimin wooped, while Yoongi tongued at his cheek in a weird irritation.

Irritation.

Irritation? Pff, no. I'm not jealous. That'd be absurd.

Eventually through their walking, Jungkook led them to what looked like a picnic. A big, classic red and white checkered blanket was laid out. On top of it, was what looked like dishes. As Yoongi got closer, he was able to make out little silver pots and trays and plastic containers, and his stomach rumbled as he thought of what they could be feasting on today. Sooner than soon, the four all plop down on the picnic blanket, Jungkook, Jimin, and Hoseok all chatting as Yoongi took to listening silently. After Jungkook opened everything, Yoongi saw that he brought ramyeon, jjajangmyeon, gimbap, jumeok-bap, yubu chobap, and a dosirak lunchbox of rice, bulgogi, kimchi, slices of fruit, and sandwiches. There was even a bottle of soju and rice wine.

"Jungkookie, wow," Jimin awed, settling himself comfortably as he stared at all of the food, "You really outdid yourself, didn't you!"

"It's a picnic, hyung," Jungkook rolled his eyes playfully, "What do you think I am, lame?"

"Still though, as the youngest!" Hoseok said, already stuffing his mouth with a gimbap roll. Jungkook smiled brightly at the two, his cheeks going a tad bit pink.

"This does look delicious, Jungkookah, good job," Yoongi finally decided to add in, tenderly adding kimchi onto a paper plate Jimin had passed him. Jungkook looked at him with a weird sparkle in his eyes, and Yoongi averted eye contact back onto his food.

Is he looking for my approval in specific or something?

"Can we have kimchi fried rice, next time?" Hoseok asked before Jungkook could say anything, Hobi's mouth now stuffed with kimchi himself. Jungkook nodded at him, pushing gimbap into his own mouth.

Yoongi glanced over to Jimin, the man having been right next to him. Jimin was currently filling his cheeks with ramyeon, slurping away. Yoongi stared at him for a second, feeling any tense feeling in his chest fade away. His boyfriend truly was adorable, was adorable with everything he did, eating included. With his big lips that went puffy with anything spicy, and his cute cheeks getting fatter and fatter, his eyes getting rounder and rounder as he fed himself with something delicious. Jimin hadn't noticed him staring, and just continued to eat almost wildly. Yoongi found himself smiling.

My baby boy.

He suddenly glanced at Jungkook who was now feasting on the jjajangmyeon and bulgogi at the same time, and felt something protective back in his chest.

MY  baby boy.

The lunch had honestly been amazing, Yoongi felt so stuffed. Currently everybody was just laying on the picnic blanket after everything was put away, all the food eaten and nothing but empty dishes and containers left. Yoongi had his arms behind his head, with Jimin's head against his chest as he hugged at Yoongi's waist. Despite cuddling with Yoongi, he still engaged in a conversation with Hoseok and and Jungkook, in which Yoongi joined in every once in a while.

"So, what do we do after our stomachs are all settled?" questioned Hoseok, rubbing a hand in a circular motion over his own stomach, and Jungkook snorted at him.

"I wanna take us all to a swimming pool nearby!" the maknae answered, sitting up with a grin that reminded Yoongi of bunny teeth for some reason.

"Swimming!" Jimin popped in, leaning up and propping himself against Yoongi's chest, and he instinctively held the other tightly against him, not wanting him to get up and leave. Jimin looked down at him with a grin. Yoongi blinked at him with a little pout, and Jimin leaned back down to press a kiss against his nose. And that made Yoongi feel better.

"Swimming sounds like fun," Hoseok murmured casually, sitting up now as well, "Haven't done that in a while, and it'll make for good bonding time!"

"It really will," Jimin said to them now, being sure to play with Yoongi's hair all the while, "and then after swimming, we can go get an ice cream or something! And then - and then - and then we can all go playing in the meadows like little Disney characters!"

Yoongi wrinkled his nose at that, looking up to give Jimin a silly look, who merely shrugged. And out of the corner of his eye, Yoongi could see Jungkook looking at him. Looking at him with those big bunny eyes that made Yoongi wanna poke him square in the face.

"Uh, yeah," he finally said, "Swimming and all that sounds cool. As long as nobody tries to drown me or anything, I'm down."

Jungkook and Jimin both smiled at him, and Hoseok made  a weird noise that sounded like a siren, which Yoongi knew meant he was simply happy. Yoongi huffed as he glanced between his lovely Jimin and the little-but-not-really-little Jungkook, who was beginning to stand up now to inspect the picnic blanket.

There was no need to have anything against the kid, after all. They were all here to have fun.

Jungkook was not a threat, nor was he a challenge.

--------------------------------------

It's been a long time since Yoongi felt challenged by anyone. Yoongi may have been small for his size compared to some other dudes, but he packed a cold stare and a fierce punch if anyone ever tried to pick on him. So therefore, he was never one to worry about size or competitive spirit.

But at the swimming pool, in his swimming wear of trunks and a tank top, Jungkook was looking mighty worrying.

Yoongi didn't dare to admit it, but the man was handsome as fuck.

They all wore similar outfits, but Jungkook stood out the most with all the muscle he packed in his body. The fabric hugged him very good already, and Yoongi really didn't wanna see how it would cling and stick to his muscle once he was wet. He really didn't want Jimin to see. Though at the moment, the two younger boys in particular were just babbling excitedly about how cool the place looked. Hoseok was beside Yoongi instead, rambling something Yoongi couldn't quite keep up with.

They were all at the public pool now, and Yoongi would be lying if he said the place didn't look at least a little bit fun. They had equipment installed in to the pool grounds, such as this one tall thing that sprouted water out of it, and filled up the buckets that were attached to its top. Once the buckets filled, it would tip over and down water on whoever was below. The buckets were merciless, one was always going down no matter what.

Another thing was that there were at least six water slides in total in this place; three tall ones, and three that were at pool level. Many small kids were going down the shorter ones, and every once in a while, Yoongi would see an older looking person go down it. As for the taller ones though, Yoongi personally wasn't all that invested in sliding down it, and he was sure Hoseok wasn't either. But he was also sure that Jimin and Jungkook would want to.

As soon as they reached the waters, the first thing Jungkook did was run at Jimin and knock them both into the pool with a battle cry. Yoongi had jumped initially, and had really only frowned while Hoseok laughed and clapped his hands. But then when he saw the two resurface, a wet Jungkook hugging a wet Jimin against his big manly frame, the two laughing and giggling, Jimin hitting Jungkook's broad chest as the younger slicked his hair back... Yoongi was honestly ready to jump in there and split the two apart himself. Maybe even kick the maknae underwater and tell him to back off and stop being so charming.

But before he could step forward, he himself was suddenly thrown underwater as a body slammed into him, and when he brought himself back into the air and all of it's lovely oxygen, he saw Hoseok sputtering beside him.

Yoongi pushed his ex's head back under the water as he glared over at Jimin and his own ex.

The two were currently giggling, splashing water on each other and laughing like they had no cares in the world.

"Kookah, your muscles have literally grown," Jimin stated in awe, and he reaches his hands out to feel casually over the younger's biceps, something that made Yoongi clench his jaw. "Yeah, I know!" Jungkook said proudly, bringing his arms up and flexing with an aura of pride, "You know I did like two-hundred squats at a time one day?" Jimin shook his head with wide eyes, and Jungkook laughed at him. "Wow, when we first dated four years ago, you had muscle, but..." Jimin trailed off, still seemingly shocked as he observed Jungkook's body in the water. Jungkook grinned at him, flexing again before tipping back to swim backwards in the water.

Yoongi was glaring so hard that he was surprised Jungkook hadn't dropped dead in the pool by now, or that he hadn't burst into flames. However, the only thing bursting was Hoseok out of the water when Yoongi had held him under for too long. He ended up swatting at the back of the older's head, but all Yoongi did was grumble in a distracted annoyance. All four of them eventually ended up going to mess with pool equipment.

Under the buckets, Yoongi held Jimin close to him, wishing to be splashed on together. An evilly grinning Jungkook was chasing a screaming Hoseok around the whatever-this-thing-was-called, Yoongi thought it looked kinda like a large mushroom or tree or something.

"Stop squirming so much!" Yoongi yelled to Jimin, who was wiggling wildly in an attempt to get out of his tight grasp. "I don't wanna get doused ooonnn!" Jimin shouted back, "I mean I do, but I also don't! I also really really don't!"

Yoongi responded by pressing multiple wet kisses against his ear, determined to keep the other against him so they could get splashed on together. Although Yoongi would try and reject most offers at going to do wild (by his standards, anyway) outdoor things, he was always one to put all he's got into the particular thing he was somehow pushed into. And at the moment, that was water. And so at the moment, he was gonna get Jimin as wet as possible him. Even if that meant a few scratches and bites along the way... Scratches and bites that he personally enjoyed.

But the other reason he was doing this was out of pure possession and need. He wouldn't admit to it out loud, but he had been feeling pretty small with Jungkook around. And now that he had Jimin to himself again, at least for a moment, he was going to make it count.

Or at least he would have if the other two hadn't knocked into them both during the moment the bucket above tipped over, and water came spilling down on all of them. Yoongi was shoved under the water for a mere moment, and he quickly rose back up and wiped the water out of his eyes. He failed his arms in the water for a second as Hoseok had unintentionally clung onto him, babbling something in fear of Jungkook. Ignoring him, Yoongi's eyes strained to focus on Jungkook and Jimin, and once he did, he couldn't hold back a little scowl at their close proximity.

"Haha, Kookie! Wait-- I got water up my nose!" Jimin giggled, blowing water everywhere, his eyes crinkling up into cute little crescents. Jungkook's eyes were similar, and he brought a hand up to pinch at Jimin's nose with two fingers in hopes of getting some water out. Jimin smiled at him, but swatted his hand away. Jungkook cackled, and Jimin sniffled. But then Hoseok jumped with vengeance to push Jungkook underwater, and that finally brought a smile to Yoongi's face. He took his chance to swim over to Jimin and pull him closed along with him.

"Baby, what else do you wanna do here?" Yoongi asked quickly with no reason in particular, and certainly not to get him away from the distracted Jungkook as soon as possible. Jimin's face was thoughtful for a moment, and he turned his head over to one of the tall water slides.

Of course.

Jimin looked to Yoongi, to the slide, and back to Yoongi who was already rolling his eyes. Half grateful and half annoyed, he took Jimin's hand and swiftly snuck him away to the targeted area. A weird sense of adrenaline rushed through him, and Yoongi chose to think of a simple excitement. It was not because of his determination of getting Jimin away from Jungkook. Haha, what kind of silly boyfriend would he be to do that? Pff, not him, that's for sure!

Soon enough, the two were already in line. Yoongi kept a keen eye out as the line went forward, focusing on the pool so to make sure Hoseok and Jungkook were still where they were supposed to be. Jungkook, most importantly. And by the time they were standing on the platform, multiple feet off of the ground, Yoongi was relieved to see that the maknae and hyung were both splashing at each other in friendly war. With the way those two seemed, Yoongi was half expecting the two to suddenly pop up behind him, and then Jungkook would whisk Jimin away and slide down into the pool with him instead. Not that Yoongi would let the younger get that far into doing that, though. Not without at least one or two nipple twists of pure fury.

"Next!" called the lifeguard who was stationed at the top as well, ready to assist Jimin as he came forward. Yoongi watched after him, watched as he sat down, watched as Jimin looked back at him with a smile so precious that Yoongi would have socked someone in the face purely because he wouldn't know how else to handle his own feelings, watched as the boy waved at him, and watched as he slid down with some kind of cute little battle cry. Yoongi wanted so desperately to slide slide with him, but he knew that due to rightful safety measures, he couldn't. So he waited until the lifeguard called him forward next, and then Yoongi sat in position, and slid.

The slide itself was just a little bit scary for Yoongi, and he'd be lying if he said his knees didn't shake just a little bit at the height. But the thought of his Jimin being down there, waiting with that sweet smile, had urged him forward. And And forward he went, and found that, well... I was actually pretty fucking fun. His face broke into a rare gummy smile, followed by squinty eyes and weird high pitched noises he wouldn't have believed sounded out of his mouth. He was in the water so enough, the liquid pounding all around him as he fell into it with speed and depth. And he resurfaced to a pretty boy kissing him all over his face with hands smaller than his own cupping his cheeks, and the whole thing itself washed away any bitterness inside of him.

"Babyyyy, baby, baby!" Jimin squeaked at him, laughing joyfully, "How was it? Did you have fun? You're smiling with your whole set of teeth, oh my gosh!" Yoongi felt a bright blush fill out his face, and he brought Jimin's face toward him and pressed their forehead's together. They giggled like that for a second, Jimin leaning in to lock their wet lips together, and Yoongi hugged him against him. Although Yoongi was all one for privacy, he could really care less when it came to Jimin. If anyone wanted to come at them for their little gay nature, Yoongi would happily pop a mouth real quick. Unless Jimin told him not to, then he wouldn't, he guessed. But regardless of anyone's opinion, he loved displaying public affection to his boyfriend.

Unless the public ended up being Jungkook, who was swimming his way over at that very moment, much to Yoongi's dismay.

Unless I pull Jimin back in for another kiss and show him what he's missing, Yoongi thought a little heatedly, feeling his bitterness come back the closer Jungkook got. But upon seeing the younger's sweet little smile, he mentally kicked himself in instant guilt. It's not like the not was really doing anything, but Yoongi still couldn't help but not like him. Or at least, not his presence, not when it was around Jimin.

Fuck, was this how Jimin felt with Hoseok back then?

Yoongi looked over at Jungkook and Jimin, who were currently wrestling. But this time, he stared not with envy, but thoughtfulness. Jimin, back when he had first met Hoseok, was jealous of him. He was so adorably clingy that day, so protective, so eager to prove himself. He acted like Yoongi was some kind of prize that he was trying so desperately not to lose, which Yoongi found weird but, again, adorable. Jimin was passive aggressive towards an innocent and oblivious Hoseok, and Yoongi had noticed Jimin being weird from the start. He had found it silly though, considering he knew that nothing would ever happen again between himself and Hoseok. Nothing could ever take him away from Jimin.

And nothing could ever take him away from me, either, he thought, shooting a tiny glare at Jungkook, but then frowned at himself once he realized. Was this... hypocritical of him? Being jealous like this over Jimin's ex, when he knew just how silly it actually was? Yoongi was confident in his relationship. He knew he loved his baby to the point of death, and he knew Jimin felt exactly the same. He knew no one would actually be able to come between them, not even an old ex. And Jimin knew this too. So what exactly triggered him when Hoseok had came along? And what's triggering Yoongi now that Jungkook is here?

Yoongi stared after the two, staying entirely still in the waters with a blank face. Jimin and Jungkook of course were too distracted to notice his observation of them, but he found himself relieved at that. He took a good, long look at the smiling youngest, all happy and bright-eyed, and Yoongi felt another wave of guilt hit him. Jungkook, ever since he had gotten here, had never done anything wrong. He had never actually flirted with Jimin since he'd gotten here. In fact, he kind of bullied him, now that Yoongi thought about it. Taunting him, splashing him, shoving him under water, just like he'd been doing Hoseok. In all honesty, the only one Jungkook hadn't been throwing himself at was Yoongi. Which Yoongi understood, considering his vibes toward Jungkook hadn't been the friendliest today.

Well, maybe it's time to change that.

Yoongi hummed at this thought process, then nodded to himself slightly. Yes, that is what he would do. He'd make more of an effort to understand and befriend the maknae, just like Jimin had done for Hoseok... Speaking of which, Yoongi really hoped Jimin hadn't noticed his weird behavior today. But as he focused on him, all he saw was Jungkook attempting to give Jimin a piggyback ride. So hopefully Jimin hadn't noticed Yoongi today if Jungkook has kept him preoccupied. However, while Jimin and Jungkook were in their own little world, Yoongi did feel another pair of eyes on him. Turning to the feeling, he found Hoseok watching him with an expression of interest.

Ah fuck, I forgot about my friend over here, who probably has noticed my strange behavior considering he was the little victim of Jimin's, in the past.

Yoongi stared back, and the two seemed to exchange silent words through their eyes. And Hoseok seemed to understand, as he simply shook his head with a little grin, which prompted Yoongi to rub at the back of his neck shyly. Hoseok chose not to confront Yoongi on the matter right now though, because he took a couple of swims backward as Yoongi felt a pair of arms come around him. Soft, wet lips pressed a bright kiss against his ear, and Yoongi felt his insides melt in warmth. He turned over, and felt Jimin's hands come up to cup his face, and Jimin's warm smile took over his vision.

"Baby!" Jimin said in between kisses at Yoongi's face, "Jungkook and I were thinking about getting us all out to go eat some of the snacks we brought, and then maybe go to a shop nearby nearby and buy cute little things!"

And Yoongi smiled at him and nodded, which earned him yet another kiss. Taking him by the hand, Jimin dragged Yoongi out of the pool with Jungkook rising out of the pool as well, carrying a panicking Hoseok in his arms bridal stylel. Once on the ground floor, Jimin ran off to one of their backpacks, and then ran back and practically tossed a towel onto Yoongi. Before Yoongi could dry himself, Jimin took to taking care of Yoongi himself by drying him quite thoroughly. Yoongi stood there with a bright red face as Jimin dried him the way a parent would dry their toddler, or an owner drying a dog, and he heard Jungkook and Hoseok giggling somewhere in the background. Yoongi didn't feel embarrassed though, he actually felt quite pampered. Jimin may have been more of the baby in their relationship, but there were cute (and kinda hot) moments like this where Jimin randomly took charge and chose to take care of Yoongi instead of vice versa. And it always left the older feeling warm and kind of little inside.

Once Yoongi was completely and totally dry, Jimin then went on to dry himself with his own towel that he also brought. With Jimin's attention no longer on him, Yoongi took this chance to fully take in the sight of the younger.

Jimin was, to put it simply, fucking hot.

Droplets were running down his toned arms and legs, his swimsuit clung to him so well, and it really showed off his muscles that flexed as he took to drying his hair off first. Once he was done with that and moved onto his body, his hair looked wild and messy and still slightly damp, and the sight of it all just made Yoongi gulp. He didn't look away though, and Jimin looked over at him and laughed. His eyes were playful as he walked towards Yoongi, his smile holding mischief as he held his hyung's chin with his fingers, and planted a firm kiss on the Yoongi's lips before pulling away shortly after. And Yoongi could feel heat all over his cheeks... and probably somewhere else, due to the way Jimin was looking at him.

"Have I ever told you your lips remind me of a doll's?" Jimin said smoothly, and that made Yoongi look away. "Yeah, all the time," he responded, his only slightly wavery voice making it clear that he was flustered. But before Jimin could tease him further, Hoseok's arms were suddenly around the both of them. His smell, still somehow vanilla even after the pool, went into his nose, and it helped calm him down. Hoseok's scent always managed do that. And Jimin always smelled like roses and peaches, which always made Yoongi weirdly excited. He hoped Jimin liked his smell too.

Well, actually he knew Jimin liked his smell. Jimin always described Yoongi's own scent as "the boyfriend smell." Which, Yoongi had no idea what that meant, but yeah okay, he'll take it. He glanced at Jungkook who was coming over, and wondered what he smelled like too, and if Jimin liked it.

"Jungkookie said we're gonna go eat some snacks and do a little shopping?" Hoseok questioned, and Jimin replied with a cheery affirmative. "Alright then, lovebirds! Let's go!" Hoseok chirped as Jungkook put an arm around him, nodding. And Yoongi eyed the youngest with a neutral expression before he smiled at him. Jungkook blinked at this for a second, and then smiled back warmly, almost happpily.

Make an effort to get to know him better, Yoongi reminded himself internally.

Then all four of them went on over to their backpacks.

They sat on the ground, still on the premises of the water park, munching on chips and candies and crackers, and really any other variety of snack Jungkook and Hoseok had managed to pack.

A giggly Jungkook had his arm around an equally giggly Jimin, and Yoongi was steeling back a harsh frown. He was trying especially hard when he realized Hoseok was staring at him, likely waiting for any kind of negative reaction. But Yoongi wouldn't give it. He wouldn't. Instead, he pressed his tongue against his cheek, and sipped at his cold orange fanta soda. He was glad the can was cold, having been kept cool by readied ice packs, as a warm soda probably would have just irritated him further. He glanced at the young duo again, and caught eyes with Jimin, who had been looking at him.

He didn't notice anything, right?

Just to make sure that Jimin was not thinking anything, Yoongi threw him a casual wink.

Jimin grinned at him, and gave a tiny laugh.

And that laugh made Yoongi smile back.

---------------------------------

They were all at a nearby market now, wandering around the small isles after they'd completely dried off their bodies. Hoseok was currently pulling Jimin around, babbling about a specific soda he was trying to find and needed help with, and Jimin was just nodding patiently. Yoongi loved his kindness, and he loved Hoseok constantly kept Jimin's energy up.

Jungkook could keep a person's energy up too,  but he was currently next to Yoongi. The two didn't talk much, as Jungkook had just randomly wandered up to him, and mumbled something about gummy worms. Yoongi was tense for a second, but quickly relaxed when he became aware that the youngest had simply wanted to be around him. As he wasn't particularly looking very hard for those gummy worms.

"You like the sour ones?" Yoongi asked in a low, rumbly voice, similarly to how he'd talk to a child, and Jungkook nodded in the way Yoongi expected him too; like a child. And it made him grim for just a second. "I like those too, I'll help you find em."

Jungkook smiled at him almost timidly, but his eyes were happy. The boy wanted to get to know him too, Yoongi knew, and was just shy.

Unfortunately you're also a charming, handsome bastard and that worries me, Yoongi thought with no real bitterness.

The two idled around for a little bit, Jungkook eventually speaking up about he loved the little rainbow-colored sour sweets, and that he had a hyung back at home who had to manage just how much Jungkook ate in a day. But because he wasn't here, Jungkook could eat the whole bag if he wanted. Then Yoongi went on to tease him saying that he would act as the strict hyung, so as to make sure Jungkook didn't end up giving himself cavities.

During their little talk though, Yoongi felt eyes watching him, and when he turned around, he saw both Hoseok and Jimin watching the oldest and youngest with fond gazes and smiles. Yoongi felt his cheeks warm, and looked away.

Eventually after finding his sour gummy worms, Jungkook immediately went to Jimin and practically shoved them in his face as if to gloat, and Jimin swatted it away. Yoongi watched as the two giggled with words unheard, expression unreadable and no thoughts thinking. He did feel an elbow come to his arm gently though, and glanced to see it was Hoseok.

"Go away." Yoongi said very blankly, and Hoseok rolled his eyes, but stayed near him anyway. Which is good, cause Yoongi wanted him to stay.

"I see you're growing closer to him," Hoseok said not very out-of-the-blue, and Yoongi shrugged.

"You like him?"

Yoongi shrugged.

"You still jealous of him?"

Yoongi shrugged.

And Hoseok put an arm around to hug the older against him. Yoongi casually rest his head on Hoseok's shoulder, expression still stoic. Hoseok rubbed up and down his arm comfortingly.

"I think you and I both noticed these stages in Jimin, too," Hoseok continued, "You're liking him now, and you probably feel guilty. But you still feel weird."

"Do you think Jimin noticed?" Yoongi asked quietly, and Hoseok gave him a funny, clueless face.

"He's your boyfriend, Yoongi hyung! But I'm sure he's got his own ideas."

Yoongi thought about this silently, eyes going to the floor now.

"Now Jungkook though, for sure has," Hoseok went on, and Yoongi found himself nodding. "You should go talk to him about it, it'll make you feel better."

"You mean the way Jimin did you?"

Hoseok went to smack his chest, but Yoongi caught his hand and grinned playfully at him.

"Yes, the way Jimin did me. And it worked, and we're closer than even you two now!"

Yoongi thought about it, but then frowned. He could, but he didn't wanna see the kid get sad because of him. Hoseok could, as usual, read his mind though.

"Don't worry about it, he's actually pretty tough!" Hoseok tried to reassure him, and Yoongi nodded.

Then after that little pep talk, Jimin was with Yoongi, Hoseok was with Jimin, and after buying more little snacks, and other materialistic stuff that looked cool or pretty, went on their way.

On their way out, Yoongi glanced at Jungkook, still thinking about what Hoseok said... Talk to him..? But how...

He looked to his side at Jimin, who immediately noticed and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. That peck gave Yoongi unintentional encouragement, and he made up his mind.

Today he was supposed to learn about Jungkook, but weird feelings ended up fucking that up. But not again. He's was gonna make up for it. He was going to talk to Jeon Jungkook.

After their day of swimming, along with a few threatened water balloon fights, the boys had all calmed down. Everyone was currently laying on their backs in the grass, basking in the sunlight and fresh air. Yoongi turned his head to stare at Hoseok until the younger noticed, and when Yoongi gave him the signal with a little jerk of his chin towards the resting Jimin, Hoseok immediately understood.

And therefore rolled near Jimin and went to distract him.

Feeling relieved at the sound of Jimin whining at his pesky hyung, Yoongi turned toward Jungkook. The youngest's eyes were closed, strong arms crossed behind his head, expression holding no care in the world. Yoongi quietly kept toward him on his hands and knees in the grass, and went to lay down right next to him, mimicking his laying position.

"Hey," Yoongi first started off.

"Hey," Jungkook responded casually, not opening his eyes.

Yoongi swallowed thickly, furrowing his brows as he prepared himself. Rip it off like a bandaid. Do it. Do it now.

...

"I'm jealous of you."

...

Silence on Jungkook's end, and Yoongi didn't look toward him.

But when Yoongi did finally turn to look at him, his eyes met big doe eyes that were already staring back, boring into him so intensely that Yoongi was genuinely shocked for a second. But he didn't speak, he waited for the younger one too.

Neither said anything for a second. Just stared at each other. But eventually, Jungkook managed it first.

"... I met Jimin hyung because we were both studying singing lessons and dance," Jungkook stated quietly, his gaze soft and serious as he kept his eyes on the older. Yoongi blinked at him curiously. This guy sings and dances, too? I didn't know that.

Well fucking duh, you asshole, you didn't even really talk to him today.

Ignoring his own insult at himself, he focused back on Jungkook, silently waiting for him to continue.

"We were together for a long while," Jungkook did continue, "but then.. things kinda happened. Stress took over, words were said on both ends that neither of us meant, and we both decided that our personalities weren't working well for either of us in that moment."

Yoongi blinked at this. Huh, he had never thought to wonder why the two broke up, but he did feel his heart pinch a little. Knowing that Jungkook probably had a beautiful singing voice and stunning dance moves. Just like Jimin. No wonder they fell in love.

But it didn't work out, Yoongi's inner voice called out quietly, they didn't work out. And Jungkook doesn't seem like the type to try again, at least not with a taken lover. Jimin wouldn't be around him if he was trying, anyway.

"We were able to connect again after a long time of everything," Jungkook said, shifting his gaze back to the skies, leaving Yoongi to be the staring one now. "By that time though, I'd moved on. And... so had he. Because he told me everything about you, hyung. From how you met, the small rivalry between you two, the budding friendship, the tension-filled relationship. You have no need to be jealous of me."

Yoongi looked up into the sky now, now replying. But Jungkook kept going.

"I was scared to meet you honestly, especially when I first saw you? God, man, you're kinda scary-looking. Only thing that helped me keep my nerves was focusing on Jiminie and Hobi hyung."

Yoongi felt a pinch again, but this time, of guilt.

"You intimidated, me too."

"I did?"

Yoongi nodded at him, and Jungkook made an inquisitive noise that made Yoongi chuckle at him.

"You just seemed so much... better than me," Yoongi stated bluntly.

"You looked like you'd slit my throat at any second if I even looked at Jiminie hyung the wrong way," Jungkook responded.

And then just like that, it became a kind of game of responses. One trying to top the other, almost.

"I just couldn't believe Jiminah had dated someone like you."

"I couldn't believe hyung was currently dating someone like you."

"But you were still too cute and small for me to hate."

"But I still really wanted to be your friend. Earn your trust."

"I think Hoseokah noticed my silliness even from the beginning."

"I think Hobi hyung is my best friend now."

"I think Jiminah might have, too."

"Then I think you should talk to him."

Yoongi grinned at the younger, fixing him with a soft gaze he didn't think he'd ever be giving the boy. But Jungkook returned it, and Yoongi was glad he gave it. He sat up, and so did Jungkook. When Yoongi looked over to where the other two were, he found Jimin silently already crawling over to him.

Lips pressed onto his, arms enveloped him, and Yoongi felt himself being pushed back against the grass. And as smooth as the surface of Jimin's perfect lips, just like that, the little chaste kiss had turned into a full blown make out session. Yoongi didn't notice as the two clearly forgotten ex lovers cleared their throat and went to talk to each other instead. He didn't notice anything when Jimin hovered over him and kissed him like this. Kissed him like he was the only man around. Ate him up. Gave himself to him. Perhaps Jimin did know everything after all. Perhaps he even heard them talk just now. Perhaps he came to kiss Yoongi out of pity. Or sympathy.

Or...

Jimin ran his fingers through Yoongi's hair, his sudden grip gentle but firm.

Or...

Jimin bit against Yoongi's lip gently, prompting a huff out of the older man, and the younger sat himself up on Yoongi. His eyes were soft. And knowing.

Maybe he was...

"Baby," Jimin called to him, in just above a whisper, "You wanna go home, now?"

Proud.

"Yes, Jiminah."

The four packed their things not long after, smiles on all of their faces now. Jimin hugged Hoseok. Jungkook hugged Jimin. Hoseok hugged Yoongi. And Yoongi hugged Jungkook.

And Jungkook gave Yoongi his phone number so that they could talk more. And Yoongi found that the bike ride back home actually wasn't as bad.

-------------------------------------

"Wow." was the first thing to come out of Jimin's after Yoongi told him the entire truth as soon as they both got home. And then came the roaring laughter, which left Yoongi with what felt like blistering blushes when they went into the room. And then came the reassuring, welcoming kisses and hugs, strong arms and plush lips were all Yoongi could feel for a few moments as they fell together onto their bed.

It didn't turn into a full on make-out session, though. Instead, Jimin sat up and straddled Yoongi, placing his delicate hands on top of the other's chest. Whenever this happened, Jimin usually took to talking about how broad his hyung's chest was, which then turned into dirty talk between the two, and then a little of something else. Which then turned into a lot of something else. But today, Yoongi could tell that Jimin was more interested in a different subject.

"So, what was it like?" the younger asked shamelessly, "Feeling so jealous of Jungkookah? My ex?"

"Yes, I know who he is," Yoongi said with a frown, but his tone was evident with humor. "I... well... Now I know what you went through, so..."

"Oh yeah?" Jimin asked him a smooth tone, leaning down and touching his nose with Yoongi's sensually. Yoongi slid his hands over Jimin's ass, automatically giving them a firm squeeze. And Jimin let out a little sound.

"Yeah." Yoongi's tone was low and rough, the tone he knew Jimin loved. And then like that, their lips locked, and their hands gripped and groped at each other (Yoongi mostly focused on his ass. He loved his ass).

"You're so fucking hot, baby," Jimin breathed against him, into him as the two grinded against each other, his voice husky and needy. Yoongi smiled, and the smile only grew wider and dirtier when Jimin kissed more fiercely at it. "Can't believe you. Calling me silly and adorable when I was jealous of Hoseokie hyung, and then you go and do the same thing!"

"I didn't mean to," Yoongi bit back, squeezing roughly at Jimin's ass and made the younger yelp louder this time. "You think I liked being around you and Jungkook and repeatedly wanting to clock him anytime he hugged you? It was so fucking confusing."

"Yes," Jimin agreed nonchalantly, "you now know exactly what I had to go through!" Jimin sat up again, and bounced on Yoongi's crotch gently, causing the older to press his lips into a thin line. He delivered a firm SMACK against the other, earning him the loudest yelp thus far. Jimin smacked at his chest in retaliation, but Yoongi quickly flipped the two over before a comment on "how broad and sexy Yoongi's chest was" could be made. He gripped Jimin's wrists and held them above his head, pressing his lower body deeply against him.

"Oh? Are you gonna eat me now?" Jimin asked.

"You want me to?" Yoongi asked back.

"Don't answer my question with another question!" Jimin whined, wiggling under his hyung, and Yoongi glared down at him playfully. "Don't you wanna eat me after being so angry and anxious all day?"

Yoongi rolled his eyes with a click of his tongue, and leaned back down to press a kiss against Jimin's neck. Jimin cooed, and had a cocky little smile on his face, one that fueled Yoongi to wipe it off.

"Wasn't all day," he grumbled, "I mean, I had moments where I felt bad for the kid. Even liked him a little."

"You liked him a lot! He gave you his number!"

"I didn't ask for it."

"You did mentally-"

Jimin was quickly interrupted by Yoongi's lips.

Jimin wrapped his arms around Yoongi and hugged him closely, their kisses growing more and more intense. Hands ran to clothing, pulls were made and bites were given. Though for a moment, Jimin pulled away from Yoongi's lips toward his ear instead.

"Let's wash away all those bad thoughts, baby."

-------------------------------------

The next day, Yoongi was with Jimin.

And he was also with Jungkook.

The three of them sat on a bench. The skies were a calm gray, and droplets hit them every once in a while. Jimin packed a large umbrella to fit over the three of them just incase, but Yoongi was sure no actual rain was gonna come too soon.

He glanced to his left, where his baby was. Jimin was quietly checking something on his phone, and judging by the smile, Yoongi assumed he must have been messaging Hoseok. That friend wasn't here with them today, as he couldn't always be, but Jungkook was able to come, which was probably what Jimin was messaging Hoseok about. Yoongi felt a sense of warmth in his chest at the thought, still so happy the two got a long. And then he went into deeper thought as he eyed the side of Jimin's neck, where purple love bites were still somewhat visible on the sweet skin. Ironic how last night after Jungkook ended the same away as that night after Hoseok.

Then he glanced to his right, where the big and strong maknae was. Jungkook wasn't looking at him either, rather looking up at the sky. His expression was peaceful, eyes soft. And Yoongi felt pretty peaceful being next to him like this, no tension, no jealousy, no nothing. Honestly though, Jimin would have have the one to sit in between them usually, Yoongi felt. But today, Jimin was content with Yoongi being in the middle of them, which was probably his little way of helping the two get closer. Which Yoongi didn't mind anymore. He actually hoped that one day, he and Jungkook's bond could be similar to that of Jimin and Hoseok's.

At the moment, the three didn't really have any plans except to just talk and chill as people occasionally walked by.

Everything was honestly peacefully silent until...

"I just can't believe you were jealous of Jungkook-"

"Damnit, Jiminah."

Even after their sensual little night together, Jimin still just couldn't keep his mouth shut about the topic. Yoongi brought his hand up to massage at the bridge of his nose, while the younger ones giggled on either sides of him. Even though his eyes were closed in an attempt to yet again find peace, he swore he could still see their big cheeky grins and eye smiles, looking like adorable little devils.

"I can't believe it, either, actually!" Jungkook agreed, and Yoongi finally opened his eyes to give him a tired look. They stared at each other for a few seconds before the youngest broke out into laughter again, and Yoongi made a grumpy face at him.

"Yeah, don't act so cheeky," Yoongi's voice came out in a rumble, "You said I scared you."

"You did!" Jungkook admitted almost immediately, his expression still all smiles, "But now that I'm getting to know you, I can see you're just a soft old sap of softness."

"I second that," Jimin said, resting his chin on Yoongi's shoulder, and the oldest automatically turned to kiss him on the top of his head. Proving Jimin's point without really realizing it. "When Yoongi hyung and I first met, I honestly thought he was kinda intimidating too. But then after friendship mixed with tension so thick you could shoot through it, and a cute confession later, Yoongiah truly is just a cat on steroids."

Jungkook laughed at this, and Yoongi rolled his eyes with a fake offended expression.

"Jiminie hyung used to call me a rabbit on steroids," Jungkook said, bringing a finger up to poke at Yoongi's cheek, and the oldest simply glared at him, but otherwise didn't react. He was really patient with this one, he noticed.

"Yeah, well, he's the cat on steroids," Yoongi replied, "... or, a puppy. I'm not sure, I always thought of him as either a calico kitten or a very fluffy puppy. Either way, he's a hypocrite."

"Hey, I'm right here--""

"No you're not."

Jimin proceeded to gently push Yoongi's head, causing Yoongi's head to bump softly against Jungkook's head, and rather than immediately flinch away as he would have with anyone else, he found Jungkook's physical contact endearing. So he just laughed with him and stayed close.

They were all quiet again for a little bit, the comfortable kind, and Jungkook's head was resting on Yoongi's shoulder without either of them realizing it. To be honest, Yoongi was always quite curious as to how Jimin and Hoseok always managed to be so affectionate with each other when it came to touches, many could have mistook those two as a couple. He wasn't jealous or anything, he loved their closeness, but it made him wonder. But at this moment, he almost swore he could see Jungkook as a little brother of some kind, one who he'd happily be a pillow for. So thoughtlessly, he threw an arm around the young one's shoulders, looking away with a blank expression as if he didn't care, but keeping him somewhat close regardless. Jimin saw this and took to leaning against Yoongi's, and Yoongi put his arm round him as well, pressing gentle kisses repeatedly against his ear.

Today was nice. Yoongi got to get closer with Jungkook a little more today, to the point where he could consider him a casual friend that he'd look forward to seeing again. They weren't besties just yet, but that future didn't seem too unlikely nor too far off. There was no more confused jealous tension, no more intimidation, just two dudes sharing their similar love for one dude, which in turn let the first two dudes learn to love each other as well.

Soon enough, while stuck in his own thoughts, Jimin and Jungkook began to talk again.

"Yoongiah works out," he heard Jimin say from the left of him, and Jungkook made a noise of acknowledgment from his right.

"Yeah, I could kinda tell," stated the youngest, who reached his fingers up to pinch at Yoongi's side, something that made the oldest squirm and groan like an old man. "He's small, but he's got muscle."

Jungkook turned his attention back to Jimin, "Like you, hyung!"

"We are not that small, Kook." Jimin said with a nearly monotone voice, and Yoongi guessed that Jungkook must have poked fun at his height often. "But yeah, my Yoongiah does got muscle. He's my big, strong man."

"It's amazing that you're nearly the same height as him!"

"Jungkook."

Yoongi found himself giving a large smile with all teeth and gums as Jimin began to try to climb over him to try and beat the laughing, overgrown baby.

Today was a good day.

-------------------------------------

"You love him!"

"Stop it."

"You do!"

"Ugh."

Yoongi groaned as Jimin began to try and tease him about Jungkook yet again.

Yeah, it's been a few weeks of constantly hanging out with the kid. So what.

Yeah, it's been a few texts and even a few calls here and there which often left Yoongi chuckling and shaking his head at Jungkook's smart remarks. So what.

Yeah, it's been only a day since Jungkook's last visit at their house where they all played video games and Yoongi quite literally threw himself at Jungkook out of pure excitement of beating a really infuriating level on this one game. Which left Jungkook all starry-eyed for rest of the remainder of that night, which Yoongi had found both adorable and endearing.

Yeah, he loved the kid. So what.

Didn't mean he had to admit to that.

"It's just so cute!" Jimin said casually, swooning and throwing his arms over Yoongi in a back hug. "We both have now practically become best friends with each other's exes. How ironic!"

"And pretty weird from a bystander's view," Yoongi said with that morning rasp to his voice, drinking from his mug of coffee afterwards. Jimin ended up taking the mug from his hands and sipping at it himself. Yoongi didn't mind, he thought it was adorable when Jimin did things like that. He loved sharing with his baby.

"Not our fault our exes are just so awesome at being awesome," Jimin mumbled into the mug, speaking into the coffee and causing a weird bubbling sound. His eyes were big and doe-like as he looked up at Yoongi from the mug. "Jungkook wants you to become his new work out buddy! And he said something about more piercings and tattoots?"

"Okay, well, first of all," Yoongi said, bringing up a finger to press it against Jimin's nose, as if it were a pause button, "I may be getting just slightly swole now, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna get absolutely ripped. Not to your level, and most certainly not to Jungkook's. Man's an absolute muscle pig."

"Your chest and arms getting pretty big now though," Jimin grinned, his tone both matter-of-factly and flirtatious, "You'll need some new clothes!~ But what about the body modification stuff? You already know I fantasize about you with like, tattoos and stuff. And a tongue piercing, oh my god."

"Second of all," the older continued, "Piercings, okay, yeah maybe. I like em. And I might get a tongue piercing one day just to tease you with it. My tongue is powerful enough as is, I don't even wanna imagine what kind of reactions you'd have if I ever licked you while it's pierced."

"Yeah, you do, don't lie."

"Third of all, tattoos are also a maybe. I'm not sure, if I get tattoos it's either gonna be like, a dot on my toe or just full on sleeve tattoos. Maybe the neck too."

"I could live with that!" Jimin said a little too excitedly. Of course he could live with it, he'd live for it. But Yoongi didn't have enough energy right now to bully him on it, Jimin would just get off to it anyway. "I'm just saying," Jimin continued, sitting on the couch with the mug of coffee thay he must have completely forgot was Yoongi's, and a familiar toy poodle came bounding up to his feet. "-- oh hi baby! Anyway, I'm just saying that you and Kookie could really get into more things together! You both seem to really like a lot of the same thing."

"Mm, starting to wonder if you got a type," Yoongi said nonchalantly as he walked over, eyes teasing Jimin while his hand came down to pet his little dog child.

"Yes, like the fact that you both are practically emo and just slightly scary-looking," Jimin teased back, drinking from the mug again, "But I really thought the same about you and Hobi hyung,  remember? He and I both get along so well! We might be some form of soulmates or something! Though I've already Taehyungie for that." He put the mug on his lap, and fixed Yoongi with a questioning little look and a mischievous little grin. "You and Kookiah soulmates too, Yoongi hyung? You two aren't gonna like, leave me and to be hot emo black bucket hat boyfriends together, right?"

"Okay, uh," the older man scrunched his nose, squinting in that one funny grandpa way with his signature flat-line smile-ish lips, "I'd really consider either Joon or Jin hyung to be a "soulmate" of mine but yeah, sure, Kook and I could go and be emo boyfriends together, definitely."

A small couch pillow was throne in his direction, one he easily swatted away.

"You weren't supposed to agree to that??"

"What did you want me to do???"

Another one was thrown that Yoongi simply side-stepped, and he comedically thought that the younger would eventually throw the coffee mug if he ran out of pillows.

He came over to come sit with a fakely pouting Jimin, who very quickly relaxed the pout and simply leaned against him. Yoongi put an arm around him and kisses his temple.

"Can I have my coffee back, now."

"No."

"Okay."

Alright well, he tried. Jimin did give him a sweet kiss on the cheek though, so that was good. And after a comfortable moment of silence, Yoongi glanced over at Jimin again.

"I love you."

Jimin turned his face toward him with a mildly suprised expression, eyes big and soft and lips only slightly parted. The moment was entirely playful, but after the small pause, Yoongi's tone became serious. But it was a soft serious, and his tone matched his eyes, he knew. And he definitely knew that Jimin knew, cause it was the younger who always told him.

"Yoongiah.." Jimin started, his own expression now similar, except he smiled. He brought a hand up to cup Yoongi's cheek, and leaned in to lock their lips. When he pulled back, he said, "I love you."

"You can say "you too", you know," the older said without a single change in his expression, and even if he didn't smile, he knew that Jimin saw the entirety of the love and adoration in his gaze. A gaze that, once you stared deep into it, only held Jimin as its reflection. And in response, Jimin simply laughed at him and bumped their noses together.

"Doesn't sound as powerful," the younger stated under his breath, and Yoongi brought his own hands up to cup over Jimin's face. He pressed their foreheads together, the noses simply having not been enough.

"I adore you."

"Aish, Yoongi hyung, stop it.."

"I adore you so fucking much, Jimin."

....

"... God, fine, have your coffee back! I'm about to fucking tear up over here, jesus fucking christ--"

Yoongi smiled in victory. Jimin scoffed, but settled over to sit on his lap anyway.

And to Yoongi, that was also a victory.
