tine was on the sofa with his laptop, working on some paperwork for the cheerleading club. sarawat was right next to him with his earphones in his ears. though he was listening to music on the loudest volume, sarawat's mind was only filled with thoughts of cuddling with tine. since they both became the presidents of their clubs, they barely had time for themselves, much less for each other. sarawat didn't mind that as he understood that university students are bound to be busy one way or another but he felt extra clingy knowing that they'll be away from each other soon; both their clubs are going to be involved in competitions in different districts. granted, they'll only be 25km apart but sarawat wouldn't be sarawat without his dramatic tendencies.
he kept looking at tine but tine was too immersed in his work to notice the glances thrown at him. after a while, sarawat kept moving around on the sofa to get tine's attention. of course, this only annoyed tine as he didn't like being disturbed while doing his work.
"wat, the sooner i finish this, the more time i'd have to spend with you."
sarawat only pouted as a response. he didn't take heed of what tine said. instead, he moved around a lot more. tine finally looked up from his laptop and he seemed more annoyed than before.
"can you stop annoying me for a second? i really need to get this done soon, my eyes are tired." tine said exasperatedly. sarawat's face visibly fell after he heard that.
"oh, so you think i'm annoying?" sarawat replied and turned away.
"wat, you know that's not what i meant."
"i'm sorry babe, you're right. i'm just gonna take a nap, wake me up when you're done."
sarawat realised that he was being immature and genuinely felt apologetic. he moved away to give tine some space, leaned back on the sofa and closed his eyes in the hope of falling asleep.
tine realised that he was a little too harsh with sarawat but he really needed to get his work done first. as much as he wanted to just be with his boyfriend, he knew that if he left his work then, he'd never get it done until the very last minute; whenever he's with sarawat, his mind tends to shut everything else off.
sarawat had been napping for about half an hour when tine finally finished his work. tine stood up to stretch his body out before he sat back down to stare at his boyfriend who seemed to be in deep sleep. tine knew that sarawat wanted to be woken up once he was done but tine didn't have the heart to disturb sarawat's sleep seeing that he looked so peaceful. suddenly, an idea struck tine's mind.
tine sat on sarawat's lap. he thought that would wake sarawat up but his boyfriend showed no signs of waking up so tine moved his face closer to sarawat's and blew air on his face. after a few attempts, sarawat's eyes fluttered open and went wide for a second when he saw tine on his lap. tine put his arms around sarawat's neck and gave his boyfriend cheek kisses. "good morning, wat." sarawat chuckled and pecked tine's lips and this brought out shades of crimson on tine's cheeks. despite having been together for so long, tine still blushes whenever sarawat shows him affection like that but sarawat loves it. he loves how tine is still affected by his simple acts of affection.
"hey i'm really sorry i bothered you earlier, that was pretty immature of me." sarawat said to tine while running his hand through tine's hair. he still feels bad about what happened earlier.
"it's okay, i was a little too harsh with you too, i'm sorry as well." tine replied as he tightened his arms around sarawat's neck.
"i just can't bear the thought of us having to do ldr soon." sarawat said.
"wat...you know we'll only be 25km apart, right?" tine replied with a chuckle.
"yeah but we're rarely away from each other, so 25km is actually long for us."
"you're so dramatic-" tine paused to kiss sarawat's nose, "-but i love you and your dramatic ways."
"i want more of this, please." sarawat said.
"more of what?" tine asked.
"more of you being cheesy." sarawat replied with a huge smile on his face.
"nope i don't wanna take over your role." tine said before sticking his tongue out and then he snuggled his head into the crook of sarawat's neck.
"so what are we gonna do now?" tine asked sarawat with his muffled voice.
"well...at first i was planning on going out for dinner but i don't wanna move from this position anymore." sarawat replied.
"we can still cuddle once we get back, you know." tine sighed in a teasing manner.
however, his actions seemed to oppose his words as he snuggled his head further into the crook of sarawat's neck.
"i guess we're gonna have to opt for delivery." sarawat said, laughing at his boyfriend.
