I'm Addicted to your Strawberry Kisses
Waking up to an empty bed was not how Taehyung wanted to start his day.
Technically it wasn't empty, the Jimin sized space vacant of him and in place a sleepy Yeontan.
Groaning he turned around to pick up his phone and check the time. “10 a.m.” he pouted. “Where's my Minnie?” he asked not really expecting an answer in return, but getting a snore from his dog.
Deciding that any extra sleep would be pointless now that he knew he couldn't cuddle with his boyfriend he begrudgingly got up from the bed, making sure to cocoon the sleepy pup in blankets.
After he finished up some business in the bathroom his stomach growled making his need for food aware.
As he headed into the kitchen of their cozy apartment he decided to check the fridge for possible breakfast ingredients. He vaguely remembered Jimin saying he did some grocery shopping for the party they were going to throw.
All thoughts vanished as he laid eyes on probably the most delicious fruit known to mankind.
“Strawberries” he gasped.
Nothing was going through his mind but the sudden need to consume all the heavenly berries and that's exactly what he did. No regrets. As he was finishing up the last few berries Jimin finally made his appearance walking through the front door with a few bags.
“Baby… You ate all the strawberries?” he asked with a fond smile.
“You weren't in bed when I woke up.” Taehyung pouted expertly dodging the question.
As Jimin walked closer to the love of his life he set down the bags on the counter and could now clearly see the pout and puppy dog eyes that his boyfriend had mastered and decided to play along. “Aww baby I’m sorry I wasn't there to cuddle with you this morning when you woke up.. But today is our day off so we have all day to cuddle..and maybe watch that movie you've been talking about.” he said wrapping his arms around the pouting boy's waist and laying a chin on his shoulder.
Taehyung turned around excitedly in his arms, finally showing off his signature boxy smile. “But first let's go back to bed. I woke up too early and I want kisses until we fall asleep to make up for it.” “Sounds like a plan.” said Jimin as a sleepy (read: lazy) Tae clung to his back.
“Wait, baby.. you head to bed and I’ll follow close behind let me just put away the stuff I got .” Reluctantly he let go and sulked off to their room. Shaking his head fondly Jimin quickly put away the few things he bought, so as to not keep his pouting boy waiting too long.
Rushing to their room he took off his sweater and started stripping his jeans.
Making sure Tae wasn't looking, he reached into his pocket grabbing the small velvet box holding a ring and placed it carefully in his dance bag, knowing it was probably one of the few items Jimin owned that Tae had no particular interest in touching. After removing his clothes so that he could be comfortable he (gently) threw himself over his lover and smothered his face in promised kisses. The kisses wiped the pout off the younger boys face and he started releasing giggles that made the older boys heart swell with warmth.
“Stoooppp” he whined “I meant kisses on my lips.” he pouts yet again.
“Mmmh I think I could do that.” he relays placing a delicate kiss on the boys’ lips.
Pulling back Jimin stared into the beautiful eyes of his lover and could help but think about how lucky he is to get to love this beautiful soul.
“One kiss is not enough. I demand more.” the boy simply states.
Jimin leaned in slowly as Taehyung's eyes widened and placed a sweet kiss on his lips and slowly pulled back with the faintest smile tracing his lips. Taehyung having had enough decided to take what he wanted and pulled him closer by wrapping an arm over the unsuspecting Jimin's shoulder and grabbing his chin and pulling him closer as their lips met into another kiss. This time deeper than the last two.
"Where did you even go so early in the morning?" Taehyung asked reluctantly pulling his face away from his boyfriend's.
"I had to go to the grocery store again and pick up some ingredients for the strawberry tiramisu I'm gonna make for the dinner party tomorrow." Jimin replied making sure not to mention his trip to the jewelers, then with a cheeky smirk he continued "I know we had a carton of strawberries in the fridge but I needed another one, I also remembered I live with a strawberry monster and that they don't last long in our house so I just grabbed three more from the store."
At the mention of being the so-called "strawberry monster" Taehyung started turning a little red and had the decency of acting a little guilty having been caught red-handed eating the strawberries. "Sorry." Tae said a little shyly offering a boxy smile.
"Don't worry baby I knew you'd probably eat them that's why I got more.. plus I got three so one of those cartons in the fridge has your name all over it," Jimin says chuckling at how Tae instantly lights up at the mention of another carton waiting for him. Cute. "Besides.. strawberry kisses are my favorite, so sweet just like my baby." He smiles. Happy with Jimin's answer Tae pulls him into another kiss deeper, longer, sweeter.
Content with kisses for the moment he pulls away and moves so that he's the little spoon to Jimin's big spoon and they cuddle the rest of the morning before falling asleep again and only waking up when Yeontan finally demands attention.
Thinking about his plans to propose tomorrow night at the dinner party they are planning with five of their closest friends, Jimin can’t help but be excited about what their future will hold.
Looking at his lover in the kitchen already holding up his carton of strawberries even after already having devoured an entire carton himself this morning Jimin can’t help but smile and think that he’ll happily supply Taehyung's addiction to strawberries for the rest of his days with a smile on his face.
Simply because it's a small price to pay for the sweetest kisses.
Let it be known Jimin is addicted Taehyung's strawberry kisses.
