In hindsight, when Jimin heard noises coming from the bathroom, he really should have been more careful.
“You’ll get yourself hurt someday,” Seokjin bemoaned once. “You never listen.”
Seokjin is right on the latter count, at least, because when Jimin does hear the sounds (a muffled grunt, a clunk, the tiniest of pained sighs) he forgets everything they’ve tried to teach him. He goes right up to the bathroom door and pushes it open with no hint of caution at all. It takes a moment for his eyes to adjust to the dimness, but there Jimin stands, framed in the doorway, and stares silently at the man slumped in his bathtub.

For a moment, the world around them was gone and it was just the two of them. Jimin and Taehyung. No titles, no archives, nothing. Just them.
And while the two of them were accepting of their relationship alongside their careers, others might not be as kind. So, the realization that they were madly in love with each other was quickly followed by the decision to keep their relationship quiet.
If Jimin was being honest, it just made everything so much more exciting.
