   Summary

   There was a foreign ache in his chest at the sight of the scarf now, the majority of it surviving the attack but one end endured damage, some of the frill having absorbed the dark matter. 

   Shin stiffened, his fingers slowly brushing over their stained attire as he reached for the scarf. His nails hooked into the woven material, tugging at it with care to unravel the porcelain neck that'd been concealed for so long. He slanted forward, holding up the back of their head with delicate fingers to untangle the rest of the neckwear. He roused the fabric to his face, stroking his cheek against it, nostrils flaring as he drew in its smell. Warm and comforting.
