Izuku was walking in the streets to go to the local library, and of course he would be out with a permission by Aizawa-sensei. Despite the things that were happening in his high school life, now that he is in his 2nd year in UA, being out of school is still dangerous especially if you're alone. And Midoriya Izuku is a target of anyone, which is not surprising because he is a trouble magnet and is a 'problem child' according to Aizawa-sensei.
Every time when he takes a rest from training and improving his quirk, he would read books, any books, call him a nerd he doesn't care, but h3 dares you, he learns something from them.
The recent books he borrowed was entitled, Le Pétit Prince or in Japanese ーChisai no Ouji ー or if you still can't understand, in EnglishーThe Little Prince. It was a fiction book written in pre-quirk era.
And Izuku admits, pre-quirk era books are better than the books that are in his current time, mostly of the books written are bibliography of a certain person most specifically a pro hero. Even if he's a hero fanboy, it's pretty boring, to be honest.
And what's more, most of the fictions in his current time were already written in pre-quirk era, well, as what they said in their time, there is no longer "originality" because it's been repeated again and again, and what they said about changing something is just twisting what is already made by the original one.
See what Izuku mean? It really paid off! So if anyone dares him they'd slap them with the books he have readーwell maybe that's a little harshー but still!
Izuku let out a huff as he went inside the local library, there was only a few people inside, mostly were people in their 30s or 40s but he gave them no mind and went to the counter where the librarian is.
He gave the librarian, Miss Rubyーwho has a ruby hair and scarlet eyesー, a smile who smiled in return. He then whispered that he will return the book he borrowed last 3 days. Miss Ruby nodded and took the book.
"Would you borrow another book, Midoriya-kun??"
"Yes-- what book is that??"
Izuku pointed a worn out book, the cover was color maroon and the lettering on the book which was silver can't really be read anymore. Miss Ruby looked at where Izuku pointed.
"Ah, that's a book that I'll be throwing out already," she held it carefully and let Izuku see it properly," it's pretty worn out and since only few people comes here, I don't think this will be not be noticed by the people who wants to read anymore."
"Book of Wonders..??" Izuku whispered, "Miss Ruby, can I borrow this??" He looked at the ruby haired woman.
"I mean, you can but-- I can give it to you if you want it."
"Huh? Is it fine??" Izuku asked excitedly.
"Yeah," Miss Ruby opened the book in its second page and looked at something," it's published the same time as your recent borrowed book, though the difference is that that's really beat up. So it fine, I hope you don't mind."
"No! No! This is fine! It won't fall apart unless you don't take care of it. Also, I'm not the type to aggressively flip the pages of a book." He looked at the book then back to Miss Ruby, "so it's mine already?!"
Miss Ruby chuckled at nodded her head while ruffling Izuku's already messy hair.
"Thank you Miss Ruby! I'll take care of this even with its current condition! I really love pre-quirk era books you know!"
"Yeah, yeah, I noticed, now off you go! You're a regular here so you're welcome anytime!"
Miss Ruby shoo-ed him in hushed voice. Izuku giggled as he took the book at pressed it against his chest, he waved Miss Ruby a goodbye and went out of the library happily.
He can't wait to read what's in it!!

As Izuku walked inside UA and was in his way to the dorms of 2-A, first year students greeted him, some of them were normal greetings, some were girls who were giggling and others just gave him smiles.
Despite what happened to their first year, now with the League of Villains prisoned, it's surprisingly that there are still parents and students that wanted to attend UA. Though even if L.O.V was apprehended, villains are still around so they can't really relax, because after all, they're going to be heroes, and being a hero is a lifetime job, saving lives and sadly, sacrificing lives.
After passing by 5 dorms, there stood the 2-A dorms. It was still the same as their dorm when they were in first year, but still, being in a dorm with Class A is home, and that's what Izuku can only say.
With a huff, Izuku approached the door to go inside whilst hugging the beaten up book. Reaching for the handle , the door suddenly yanked open that it almost hit Izuku, but thanks to reflex, he jumped backwards clutching the book protectively.
Izuku looked warily at the person who opened the door. Emerald met Ruby, Izuku bit his cheeks. The one who opened the door was Kacchan who looked back at him with his scowl. Izuku then moved at of the way, lowering his head.
"Sorry..." he whispered.
"Huh? Oh! Midoriya! You almost got hit! I'm sorry about Bakugou, you're not hurt are you?"
Izuku looked at the person, which is Kirishima, who had a worried look on his face. Izuku shook his head and gave a wobbly smile.
"I didn't, when the door opened a jumped back on reflex since I know the door opens outside."
"Yeah, but still..."
"Tch!"
Katsuki stomped away and Kirishima looked at Izuku and patted his back.
"I uh, gotta go, someone woke up in the bad side of the bed. I'll see you around!"
Before Izuku could reply, Kirishima was already catching up to Katsuki.
He sighed and went inside the dorms at directly went to his room.
As he got to his room, Izuku changed to his normal clothes since he was in a somewhat civilian clothes minutes ago.
After changing, he sat on the bed with a sigh.
'I really look like an idiot earlier' he though. 'Kacchan really hates my guts huh...'
He laid down the bed and curled to the side, closing his eyes.
It was really obvious to him, even with the development they shared since first year, like fighting each others lights out because of miscommunication, their times together as they interned with Endeavour together with Todoroki, with the fight of the Heroes versus the League of Villains. Izuku can't understand why Katsuki hates him. He thought that they resolved everything already, they even shared secrets! So what else?!
Izuku grabbed his hair in frustration and rolled to the other side only to bump against the book that he got earlier. He grabbed it and stood up to sit on his study table.
"I'll read to forget it." he whispered to himself.
As he opened the book, and what welcomed him was the quote:
"You shall not dwell in the past, but instead be thankful for it, because you are what you are in the present that will result to your greater and brighter future." -R.A.
Izuku read them and a smile crept his face, he can say he agrees to whatever R.A said.
Even with a bad past, Izuku is very grateful that he overcome the challenges he had back then, and that it rewarded him on what he is now, that being said, he is now studying in the most prestigious hero school with a quirk! He can really fulfil his dream on becoming the greatest hero!
As he flipped pages and reading them, Izuku really can't help but smile, because there are a lot of things that is written in this book. The book was thick but not thick as an encyclopedia. It's like as big as Guinness World Record book but a little thicker.
He read about what was the old world before, where everything is always seeking for peace and unity, not unlike their time, where villains are party poopers.
He read about the 21th century where people considered as the chaotic time because in year 2011, hijacking happened in USA that killed hundreds of lives.
2013, Largest Earthquake measured and the Super Typhoon Yolanda happened in Philippines.
2020 was the worst.
First, wildfires happened.
Second, the eruption of the second most active volcano in the Philippines
Third, Corona Virus that happened in 2019 but it spread even more on 2020.
Fourth, even more wildfires! And many more! They even thought that that was the end of the world.
Izuku can't help but feel bad on the lives that were taken at that time. He sniffles as he turn more pages and reading them.
Then a knock interrupted his reading. Izuku called out saying they can come in. And there stood Uraraka. Izuku looked at Uraraka who gave him a confused look.
"Are you crying Deku-kun?" she said as she approached him.
"No, I was just reading."
Uraraka nodded believing him.
"You skipped lunch you know."
"I did? I mean, I arrived at 11:30 am.. I think reading really made me forget." He chuckled awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.
"Yes, and it's already 6:39 pm, dinner is ready, some of our classmates are calling the others. Also, Tenya and Yaomomo will announce something after dinner."she said walking out of Izuku's room which Izuku followed as well.
Izuku giggled which made Uraraka looked over her shoulders.
"What are you giggling about?"
"It's just that...I can't help it since you and Iida-kun is already in the first name basis," he laughed,"I feel like a third wheel every time Todoroki or Tsuyu isn't with us."
Uraraka's face became red and playfully smacked Izuku's shoulders.
"S-shut up! What about you! You should really--"
Izuku's happy expression dropped when Uraraka mentioned about himself or something.
"Hey, you know you can tell me anything." She smiled at him.
"I know, it's just, it's very difficult you know." He played with his hand. "It's very difficult even with using words. I'm really bad at that."
Uraraka just hummed in understanding as they arrived at their dining hall. Almost everyone was there except Katsuki and Kirishima.
Kaminari complained where are they because he was already starving, and on cue, both guys entered the dorm and went to the table with Kirishima saying sorry for making them wait.
They started eating, at first it was quiet then they started talking to each other quietly. Though Izuku didn't really talk to anyone and he seemed to lost his appetite for a moment.
"Hey Midoriya." Kaminari called. "Were you crying again? Your eyes seemed a little puffy."
Their classmates looked at Izuku and looked at him intensely that made Izuku panic a little. Meanwhile Sero elbowed Kaminari's side making him cough.
He waved his arms on his face and said, "No! No, I uh..was reading a book I got from the local library earlier."
"What is in the book Midoriya-chan?" Asui asked.
"It's a random book with a lot of things written on 21th century. I only read one-fourth of the book this past 9 hours." He said "I kind of cried a little with the happenings especially 2011 and 2020."
"I heard about that, true darkness my friend." Tokoyami said.
"I watched the 2011 in YoTube when I was searching for recipes." Sato said. "It was the hijacking on September 2011, a lot died there, I even see the old videos of people sending their last messages and calls to their loved ones. I understand why you cried."
And so they continued to eat and exchanged some few talks.
After eating, and the assigned people doing their chores, Iida told them that there will be announcement going to happen so they should stay at the common room first before heading to bed.
Since Izuku was not one of the people who will do chores, he went to the common room and sat on one of the chairs there, joining the others who were watching TV. In the corner of his eyes, he saw the Bakusquadーwhich composed of Kirishima, Kaminari, Mina and Seroーtailing at Bakugou who seemed pretty annoyed by Kaminari and Mina's talking.
Izuku sighed and decided to focus on the TV.
Minutes later, the TV was turned off as Iida and Yaoyorozu stomped in front of them, and everyone seemed to be already there. And Izuku didn't noticed that.
"Good evening everyone!" Iida greeted. "I know that you all seemed to be tired and wanted to rest, though rest assured! This announcement will only take few minutes."
"And thank you for coming here, everyone." Yaoyorozu said. "So here is the announcement. Due to the things happened last school year and some activities this school year, Me and Iida-san thought why not let's go to a 3 day vacation?"
Murmurs echoed the common room only to be stopped by Iida.
"Quiet everyone! If you're worried about being attacked or something, worry not!"
"Because the property that we will be going is my families property." Yaoyorozu said. "It's not that far from both UA and my house. And we already asked permission to Mr. Nezu and Mr. Aizawa."
"I also went there days ago with Yaoyorozu-kun, and there were devices where it can detect 5 mile radius threats and the place were also planted with the same thing that was placed on quirk erasing cuffs." Iida said while doing this robot hand. "So all we need to do is bonding and resting together!"
"And Mr. Aizawa decided to join us to be more cautious," Yaoyorozu said scratching her cheek, "Though he did say he won't bother since there are a lot of things placed there so he'll just rest on those 3 days."
Excited whispers then was exchanged, and Izuku was excited as well.
"That's all everyone, you can go back to your rooms." Yaoyorozu said.
"But don't forget! It will be in 2 days! So basically our 3 day vacation will be on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!" Iida said.
Almost all of them stood up and went to wherever they want to go, may it be the bathrooms or go to their rooms. Izuku walked with Uraraka and Tsuyu.
"Are you excited Deku-kun? 3 days stress free!" Uraraka said raising both her arms as she stretches.
"Doesn't it make our vacation 5 days since next day our last day is Saturday and Sunday, kero?" Asui said placing a finger under her lips.
"Well, after the mini vacation, I'll be training again, I'm still not so used to my quirk." Izuku said. "I'll go ahead you two, I want to sleep already."
"I'm sure you're pretty drained since you skipped lunch, and you just ate a little, it's okay Deku-kun." Uraraka gave a thumbs up.
"Have a good night Midoriya-chan."
"Yeah, you guys too."
Little did he know, a certain someone was looking and listening to the 3 of them.

When everyone in the dorm woke up, they were already preparing for the class, some of them were going to the bathroom, some were already eating breakfast. And yes, Iida our guy is already in the classroom.
As Izuku finished preparing for school, he went don't to the kitchen to see Asui and Uraraka still there together with Todoroki. They saw him approach and they called for him to sit with them.
"Woah Deku-kun, you look like you haven't slept, is something in your mind??" Uraraka worryingly looked at Izuku.
And that made Todoroki and Asui look at him properly.
"I can already see your eye bag Midoriya." Todoroki said as he ate his breakfast.
"Kero, sooner if you keep that up, you'll have the same eye bags as Shinsou-chan." Tsuyu said standing up from her chair to wash her dishes.
"Hey, I heard that." Shinsou said appearing out of nowhere only to have cereal on his hands.
'It's true though' Izuku thought, "Shinsou-kun, can I have some? I'm not in the mood to make breakfast."
"Sure, knock yourself out."
After they eating breakfast, they went to class together. As usual, before Aizawa comes they talk to each other or stay to their squads. Izuku was with his squad which Uraraka and Ashido dubbed 'Dekusquad' since there is also 'Bakusquad' why not make theirs.
They were gathering at Shinsou's placeー who is just at the back of Yaoyorozuーsince 'Bakusquad' is in Katsuki's place due to Katsuki not wanting to move around.
The Dekusquadーcomposed of Izuku, Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Asui, Yaoyorozu and finally Shinsouー was talking about what they will do in the mini vacation.
Iida said he'll do relaxation which the rest was kind of surprised? about that.
Yaoyorozu, Uraraka and Asui said that they'll go to the stream which, Yaoyorozu said there is.
'How big is this property?!'
Todoroki said he'll go wander around the place.
Shinsou said he'll sleep that whole 3 days, though it seems like it's not really serious.
And Izuku said he'll go by the stream and read his unfinished and to be read books.
And minutes later, Aizawa came through the door that made the students bold to their sits as they start homeroom.

As the bell rang for lunch, Izuku immediately took his book and told his friends that he won't be joining lunch with them.
Some of them wanted to protest, like Iida, but the understanding ones like Shinsou, stopped them and let Izuku be.
Izuku ran out of the school and went to the forest but not far away from the school. He went on a little spacious part of the forest and sat there under the shade of the tree.
He was already in the half part of the book since last night he was reading them. It was exactly in the middle part where it was as if a new chapter of a fiction book. It said that on 1-15 page of that part stood about beliefs or superstitious beliefs.
Izuku was excited just by reading it, like in his current time, not in his life have he known a single belief and he can't wait to read and imagine about it, maybe some of these will happen even now. Then again, it's a belief but who knows.
He started reading it and it really amazes him even though some of them are very weird that you may find funny.
Like in a house, you should never sweep your floor at night or your blessings will go out of your house/family.
Or, in New Year, for you to grow taller, you should jump a lot as soon as the clock strikes at 12 am.
Or, never come across black furred cats because they will make you unlucky.
Or, if you see a rainbow after the rain, you should wish on them and they will be granted.
Or, Friday the 13th is dangerous day.
Or, 3 am or pm is devil's hour.
Or, if you accidentally drop a spoon, a girl will come visit you, but if it's a fork a guy will come visit you.
Or, if you bit your tongue, someone is thinking or talking about you.
But even all those things, there is only one that amazes him the most. It said in the book that the author said, this belief was told by their philosophy teacher.
And the belief was:
When the star is near the moon, someone out there in world who confessed their love to the one they like, their love is returned back to them.
So basically it's about being mutual to the person they liked.
And that made Izuku happy and a little envy.
Happy for the people who got mutual to the people they liked.
And envy because he can never have the courage to even confess to the person he like even though he knows he will be rejected.
'Yeah... I'll never have the courage to confess to Kacchan... it's better to hide them away...' he thought sadly dragging his scarred fingers along the page of the book.
"It's better that way..." he smiled sadly.

"Wohoo!! Here we go!!" Kaminari ran out of the bus to their destination with so much energy.
"Mini vacation! Mini vacation! Mini vacation! " the girls except Jiro and Yaoyorozu chanted.
Yaoyorozu and Iida then told them to follow them so that they can point their respective cabins. And since there is only eleven cabins, they'll be partnered by 2.
Ashido and Hagakure is in the first cabin.
Asui and Uraraka in the second cabin.
Yaoyorozu and Jirou in the third cabin.
Koda and Ojiro in the forth cabin.
Shouji and Sato in the fifth cabin.
Todoroki and Iida in the sixth cabin.
Aoyama and Mineta in the seventh cabin.
Kaminari and Izuku in the eighth cabin.
Kirishima and Katsuki in the ninth cabin.
Sero and Tokoyami in the tenth cabin.
And lastly, Aizawa and Shinsou in the eleventh cabin.
Though seeing their cabins, it was a a little big cabin than what should a cabin look like. It's has everything on it. 2 rooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, dining and a mini living room.
The most excited ones bolted to their rooms so that when they settle their things on their cabins they will just go out to do whatever pleases them.

In day 2 and it was already night time and they already set a campfire on the center of their cabins. And they all gathered there to eat dinner together.
The silent night was full of chattering about what they did that day.
Izuku, however, just listened to them, not like they'll be thrilled to hear what he was doing, he was just reading his books by the river whilst soaking his feet on the streaming water.
He held the book he just finished like a baby in his lap, caressing it gently. Two days ago, he went again to the local library and borrowed another book and it's placed on his backpack waiting to be read. He was excited to read it later.
Whilst everybody was talking, he was looking around till the surroundings became clear and the shadowed things are clear to human eyes.
It might be crazy but Izuku glanced at the sky seeing the galaxy painted space though the brightness of the moon made it a little blurry. The moon was up high, bright and big, that it even made a rainbow circle around it.
Though despite the beautiful sight, something was even more beautiful than the rainbow circle that it made him gasp lightly so that he wouldn't bother his friends while they're talking to each other.
But not for Jirou, the girl has super hearing and Izuku's gasp caught her attention.
"Yo Midoriya! What's wrong?" Jirou said across from him and that mad his classmates stop from what they are doing.
"Ah...uhm," Izuku scratched his cheek as he slowly pointed the sky.
Some looked at the sky because of what he gestured.
"It's about the moon..." he continued.
"What's about the moon Midoriya?" Kaminari said.
"Well you see, I read a book stating something about the moon, though it's not the only beautiful thing about the moon with rainbow halo." Izuku said looking at the sky and looking specifically at the star. "It's about the bright star near the moon."
Almost all of them looked back agon to the sky and searched for the star that Izuku is talking.
"And what's with that Midoriya-kun?" Iida said gesturing his hands to him even though his attention is in the star.
"The author's philosophy teacher when they were in high school said that when a star is near the moon, it's means that someone out there in the world, confessed their love to the person they like.." he fiddled with his fingers. "And the person they like, led them back. A happy ending if you must say."
He looked at his classmatesーwho were also looking at himー a smile. And his classmates were amazed like how he did when he read the book.
"That's so nice Midoriya-san." Yaoyorozu said.
"Yeah! Whoever they may be, I hope they will last forever!" Uraraka said enthusiastically. "Like how I hope me and Tenya will be together forever!"
And Tenya exploded in embarrassment.
And they continued to chatter to each other.
Unconsciously, Izuku hugged the book tightly and he felt eyes looking at him. He looked around to see if someone is looking at him, though he saw no one.
They were up until 2 am because some of them said that they should enjoy everything also because they'll be going back in the school by afternoon the next day.

"What books do you usually read Midoriya?" Todoroki asked.
They were already in the bus going back to school. And as always they are always noisy as they talk to each other, but thankfully the Dekusquad is gathered in the bus as well as the Bakusquad.
"Me? Now a days, I'm reading pre-quirk ones."
"Kero, Why did that caught your attention, Midoriya-chan?" Asui said.
"Well you see, unlike our time, pre-quirk era is very interesting and amazing despite everyone being quirkless." Izuku closed the book he was reading earlier.
"That so? Tell us what amazes you." Yaoyorozu said.
"I'll tell you a lot of trivia!"
"Go ahead Deku-kun!" Uraraka said excitedly.
"Did you know that there is no original works as of now? It's because in 16th to 21st century, that is the time were amazing books with good genre's were written! I'll give you few recommendations and you will not regret reading them!"
Dekusquad nodded including the once asleep Shinsou.
"Did you know that despite wars that happened in the past, all of the people always seeks for peace and unity?"
"Did you know that classical and modern pre-quirk era songs are the best songs? I listened to them while reading sometimes, most of their songs have deep meaning though if you read the lyrics you will understand it properly."
"Did you know that Japan in the past is most like the place who is very advanced with technology?"
"Did you know that in the past if you court someone especially in the Philippines, they do poetry and serenade at the windows of the woman or maiden's house, and even some send love letters to the one they will court."
"That's so romantic." Uraraka said.
"I know right? But what if I said that the courting will take years like 3 years to 5 years, will you believe me?"
"Wait what? Don't tell me that's not true." Shinsou said tiredly.
"But it's true! Because that's the way of how they test the man of their loyalty to the woman!" Izuku said.
Izuku continued to give trivias as the squad mates talk to each other every time Izuku pauses in each trivias. It continued until they were already in the dorms. Surprisingly, they were listing intently at him and that made him happy.
"Man... you should recommend me some more songs Midoriya" Shinsou said walking beside Izuku.
"Ahaha, the songs you like we're mostly emotional songs." Izuku said awkwardly. "Though not that I'm complaining, go to my dorm, I have a flash drive for songs, I know you'll love them!"
"Midoriya-san, will you let me have a copy of the music 'River flows in me'? I like the music very much!" Yaoyorozu approached Izuku.
"I don't mind! And since you like playing piano, I'll also give you the music sheet for that music, I have it on my laptop."
"Thank you very much, Midoriya-san, I really appreciate it." Yaoyorozu smiled.

A week after the mini vacation, Izuku was glad that his friends is fine with what are the things he recently liked, they even ask recommendations of books (like Yaoyorozuー becausesges interesrted in fantasy and romanceーand Shinsouーso that he can sleep properly or early without triggering his insomnia) and music (like Todoroki, Uraraka, Iida and Asui because they said some music are jamming), he's even surprised that some of his classmates are asking recommendations as well. And he's happy to provide them.
It was already 8 pm and some of his classmates are still up, well aside from Iida who is already asleep at 8 pm and maybe Katsuki too. Izuku as always, read his currently borrowed book, the book of wonders that Ms. Ruby gave him is already kept safe on his mini bookshelf. He decided to read the book outside the dorm and sit on the ledge by the glass windows on the dorm where he can see his classmates inside as they do their thing. He was using the moonlight as a light to read the book since the moon is very bright that day. And today the current book he is reading is romance fiction.
Surprising isn't it? Him, reading a romance book? Yeah right.
He was looking around the local library when the book caught his attention. He read the blurb of the book at it made him curious.
It was a story of unrequited love called Hanahaki.
Earlier this lunch he already read half of it and this time he was going to read until three-fourths of it.
Hanahaki is a disease whereas when the person's feeling were unrequited by the person they like, they'll start caughing out flowers and blood, the flowers they coughed up is the flower that the person they have feelings for liked, at first it's only few petals, though as stated at the book, as it gets worse, the flower blooms and the person will cough out a whole flower. Later if they abandon it, the flowers will grow out and the person will be engulfed by the flowers and you'll die.
The only cure there is surgery and confession.
Surgery for take out the flowers but the consequences are the person can't love anymore and they will also forget the person they liked.
And confession is to know that maybe, only maybe, your love will be requited and the flowers will wilt.
So far in the book he read, the main character who had Hanahaki kept the disease to themselves, they didn't want to forget the feeling of love nor forget the person they liked. And they were sure that the person they liked doesn't like them back because the person they liked has someone in a relationship with.
And it was clear, the main character will embrace death than to forgetting about love and the person they loved.
"If this is real and not fiction... I would also choose death than to forget about the person I love..." he told himself sadly.
"Oi."
Izuki whipped his head to the source of the voice only to see Katsuki glaring at him.
"H-hi Kacchan... do you need something?" He asked.
"What the hell are you doing here outside?" He said slowly walking to Izuku.
"Uhm..I usually read before going to bed..but I chose to read it here because the moon is bright and the air is a little cold, I like it." Izuku said as he placed an All Might bookmark on the page he was in.
"Nerd." Katsuki grumbled.
"What are you doing here, Kacchan?"
Katsuki glared at him.
"You can't tell me where the fuck I want to be."
Izuku didn't say anything but instead he looked away from Katsuki and looked the distance and started swaying his two dangling feet.
"What are you reading?"
"I didn't know you're curious about what I do, Kacchan." Izuku said not looking at Katsuki.
Katsuki then sat meter away from him, and Izuku can see him glaring at him on his peripheral vision.
"Answer the damn question."he growled.
"A romance fiction Kacchan. A fictional book about a disease caused by unrequited love." He looked at the book in his lap.
Katsuki grunted in reply.
Silence happened between the two.
"The fuck with romance and shit lately? Round face can't stop gushing about romance books she keeps on sharing with the girls now Racoon eyes won't shut up about it with Me and the other extras."
"Not that you cared or interested Kacchan. Why ask?" Izuku said looking at Katsuki with a blank face.
Izuku really can't show Kacchan what he feels, or else he will break and he will also break the relationship they made last year and last few months.
"Because it's annoying me!" Katsuki shouted.
"I just wanted to imagine how is it being in a relationship, Kacchan. As much as I wanted to feel and experience how it's like, I can't. Because the person I like doesn't like me back!" Izuku shouted back.
Katsuki was silently with Izuku's outburst. Izuku can feel the tears swelling up so he stood up and looked at Katsuki.
"Good night Kacchan."
And he left to go back to his room, leaving Katsuki alone outside the dorm, speechless.

Been 4 days since Izuku last talked to Katsuki, they didn't even spar since then even if they wanted to. And not so surprisingly, the class seemed to noticed their actions. Especially the Bakusquad and Dekusquad.
With Bakusquad
"Bro.. what happened with you and Midoriya? I can feel the tension between you two, and seeing that it's the two of you, not even a chainsaw can cut it." Kirishima said out of nowhere when they were having lunch.
"Yeah, it's like they're having a lovers quarrel" Kaminari joked.
Katsuki glared at Kaminari whom Ashido smacked for saying that.
"Shut the fuck up." Katsuki growled.
"Now, Kat, only the two of you can solve this your problems together by talking to each other." Ashido said worried about her friend.
"Yeah, last time I heard them taking about their problem, they beat up each other and they even got suspension." Kaminari said.
Kirishima glared at Kaminari. "Not manly Bro, let Bakubro talk."
"It was 4 days ago. I saw Deku outside so I went out to see what the hell is he doing." Katsuki explained." He was reading so I didn't bother but then minutes later he said something that made me have a little talk that turned to what happened now."
"What did he say?" Sero said.
"He said about fiction and real shit, he even mention about accepting death that to forget someone he loved and shit." He grunted.
"Hmm, then?" Ashido asked.
"I asked him some questions and the shit nerd replied to be coldly...like the hell is his problem!" He slammed his fist a little hard on the table.
"Uh-huh, then?"
"Little shit then talks about romance, that he wants to experience shit but he can't because the person they like doesn't like him back."
The squad members then looked at each other. Then Kirishima patted Katsuki's shoulders.
"Bro... I think you should really talk to him..also, maybe tell him the you know.."
"Yeah..like right now, because he's not with Dekusquad again. I think he's in the rooftop as of today." Ashido said.
"Wait, he has schedule about skipping lunch or something?" Sero joked and Ashido shrugged.
"Nope, saw him went to the stairs going up. But seriously Kat! Go! Shoo! Go talk to him and do your thing with him!"
Katsuki hesitated but Ashido pushed him and he gave up and stood up.
"If doesn't end well, I'll kill you all." He glared.
"Promise Bro, it won't. " Kirishima said.
And Katsuki left them. They were silence for a minute until Kaminari talked.
"Bruh, the sexual tension is way ticked that even a laser cutter can't cut it."
Earlier with Dekusquad
"Deku-kun.. can I tell you something??" Uraraka approached Izuku after the bell rang for lunch.
Izuku noticed that it was only him and his friends left, well Aoyama is also his friend and he can be trusted. So...
He nodded and faced his group.
"Do you know that you and Bakugou's sexual tension is thicker than the tension you thought you guys have?"
Izuku spluttered face turning red as he immediately stood up from his chair.
"W-what are you talking about?!?!" He whispered yelled.
"I can barely take it anymore.." Shinsou complained tiredly.
"What Shinsou-chan is talking about is that you two should fix your problem together. Like talk, Kero." Asui explained.
"Yeah, like talk without being each other out." Todoroki chimed in.
"I-I'm bad at words as much as Kacchan is worse that I am..." he muttered enough to be heard by his friends.
"I'm think you should tell him already, Midoriya-san. And that you can move on after that." Yaoyorozu said worried for her friend. "I know it will hurt a lot and you'll have difficulties on moving on, but trying can't hurt, right everyone?"
His friends nodded at him. He sighed at ruffled his already messy hair.
"I'll talk to him, but not now, I don't think I can handle it yet."
"It's fine Midoriya-kun! No need to rush about it as long as you tell him already, and no matter what happens we will support you." Iida smiled at him.
He smiled at them. "But I think I won't be able to eat with you guys. I need to think, so that the sooner the better."
They started to walk out of the room only for Izuk to separate with them at the stairs. He clutched the newly borrowed book on his hand.
He was about to finish it so he can get his head cleared and he can drown himself on his imagination.

Once Katsuki was already in the rooftop, he saw Izuku sitting on the ground by the little rooftop garden. His head almost camouflaged the leaves but the grey uniform made it noticeable and weird to be a color of a plant.
He was reading a book again, though a different one. He approached Izuku slowly. By the time he stepped closed to Izuku, the latter already finished the book he was reading. He looked at Izuku in confusion when Izuku sighed heavily.
Izuku placed next to him the book carefully and raised his head to the sky as he closing his eyes, little tears were clearly seen in his eye lids but he had a smile plastered on his lips.
"A happy ending for the two of them...how envious..." Izuku muttered.
Izuku then looked again in front of him, but when a awkward cough rang he looked at the person who was standing at his back a meter away. His eyes went wide seeing it was Katsuki. He jumped up from his sitting position and stiffly stood straight.
"We need to talk." Katsuki said directly.
'I said soon but not this sooner!!' Izuku panicked. 'But since he wants to talk to me... I think I'll just take this opprtunity. It's better like this.'
"I...uh...yes, we really need to talk but first I have something to say to you..." Izuku averted his eyes from Katsuki's clenching his fists.
'What is he gonna say to me?' Katsuki asked himself.
"Last 5 days, remember the little chat we have? I wanted to say sorry for bursting it to you... I-I'm really not comfortable with someone talking mean about my feelings, but I understand why you said those..." Izuku clenched both fost on his side, clutching on his uniform.
Katsuki was silent but he was only forcing himself not to talk and let Izuku talk. Biting his tongue he listened.
"But the truth why I blurted it's because you are the one I liked Kacchan! Ever since we were kids it's always been you. The one I looked up, the one I see as a role model and so on! That's why despite not having a quirk until this high school, I never gave up because I never saw you gave up on something! And what All Might said is true! You are my image of victory! And I know you won't like me back and that's fine! I just really have to say this, you can ignore this and think this never happened and we can continue with our normal lives! I even think it's a best way that we should forget what happened today because, I'm sure Kacchan will never let someone interfere his goal on becoming the number one hero! But I really hope we'll still be sparring partners until we graduate then we can be on our separate lives!" Izuku loudly and fast said even forgetting to breathe, he can feel the tears swelling on his tearducts again.
Katsuki, however, surprisingly followed what Izuku muttered. His eyes widened as Izuku continued to talk.
'Did I hear it right? Did I?!' He asked himself.
"I-I think that's all I have to say, please f-forget everything and I need to go!"
Izuku snatched the book from the ground and attempted to run back inside the school rooftop door but Katsuki doesn't let him. The latter grabbed his other hand.
"Wait! I still didn't even say what I'm about to say damn it!"
Izuku struggled to get his hand back.
"I really need to go Kacchan, please, let me go!" Tears were already streaming down his face.
"I won't let go unless you will stay still and listen to me, Izuku. " Katsuki's face turned serious, the only expression he makes if he's very serious. And saying his real name not his Deku nickname is what made it worse.
Izuku looked back at Katsuki not bothering to wipe his wet face.
"We both know, when it comes to the two of us, we're fucking not good with words." Katsuki tugged Izuku a little hard making Izuku face Katsuki properly. "Listen carefully because I'll say this just once."
Izuku hesitantly nodded.
"Earlier, before I came here Kirishima and the others convinced me to talk to you because they said they can't handle the 'tension' shit. At first I fucking don't want to because it's not the time, and I know that you need space. I may not look like it but I respect people's damn space." He paused to breath. "When they convinced me already, half of my self said that I should do it and apologise to you as well as tell you about something."
Katsuki removed his hands off Izuku's shoulders but not looking at his eyes anymore.
"First of all, I wanted to say sorry for all that I've done to you ever since we were kids, I think my ego shot above higher than the sky, to be such a dick to you. I don't know if before you blurted what you just said I already told you what I have to say that you wouldn't forgive me or not if I apologize." Katsuki let out a small awkward chuckle. "But to be honest, I really can't understand you sometimes, like right now? You like me? Like fucking me who is an asshole to you? I would--"
"Stop! Please... Kacchan, stop..." Izuku clenched his hands and looked down while closing his eyes, not wanting to cry harder.
Katsuki glared," What did I say about listening to me first dumb nerd?" Izuku didn't respond. "As I was saying, earlier when you told me you liked me, I surprisingly followed what you're muttering, and I asked myself if I heard it right."
Katsuki placed his hands on his pockets still looking at Izuku despite not looking back at him.
"And that relates to what I'm about to tell you. " Katsuki paused then whispered," I like you too"
Izuku's head sprung up to meet Katsuki's eyes.
"What did you say, Kacchan?"
"I said I won't be repeating it, should've listened properly, damn."
"No, no, I think I didn't hear it properly."
"Yeah, cause I hear yours properly but I still managed. Gone deaf now?"
"Kacchan! Seriously!"
"Think I might be being stupid but with Kirishima and the others making me realize, they're slapping me with it already." He sighed and looked at the distance. "I like you, Izuku... I don't know when, or how this fucking feelings came but I and Kirishima and the others think it's been always there."
Izuku was already ready to burst into crying again. "No way... don't kid with me Kacchan."
"Kirishima and the others fucking told me earlier to resolve our problem because of the tension and I should tell you about my fucking feelings, told them if doesn't end well, I'm killing em."
"That's the same as what Uraraka and the others told me too.." Izuku whispered but enough for Katsuki to hear. "Are you telling the truth Kacchan? Is this a prank? Please I don't think I can handle with people playing with my feelings."
"When in our fucking entire life have I ever lied to people? To you?" Katsuki scowled.
Izuku was already crying and decided to jump into Katsuki burying his head to the latter's chest. Katsuki tensed for a while but decided to embrace back softly as he reached for Izuku's head to softly pat the latter's head.
"Don't get your snot to me damn nerd, we still have afternoon classes."
"So mean, even after admitting your feelings to me too." Izuku raised his head to meet Katsuki's gaze with a small pout.
"Haahhh?! Deal with it shifty nerd! You're stuck with me forever!" Katsuki raised his voice a little.
"Forev--"
The bell rang cutting Izuku off. Katsuki then removed his embrace from Izuku and wiped the tears that was on his face.
"Let's go, we still have English to attend, don't want to hear the Cockatoo's demand screaming." Katsuki walked first.
Izuku nodded his head hugging the book and walked beside Katsuki.
As they arrived the classroom with thankfully without the overgrown Cockatoo yet, Katsuki let Izuku walk in first, and then seconds later he walked it. He noticed all the stares that was once focused to Izuku was now at him. He threw flipped them off and sat on his chair.
Both thinking about earlier, both didn't noticed the small smile that was plastered on the corner of their lips, unbeknownst to them, the people around them noticed their small smile and let out a relieved sighs and never said anything.

It was already night time and Izuku decided to train instead of read his books, though even if he wanted to, all of the borrowed books has been read by him. He can really say, what a nerd of him.
But even with the making up with Katsuki, Izuku was somewhat unsure of what are they. Maybe he should ask Katsuki when he got time. He did say something about for--
"Hey Deku." A rough voice called that made Izuku flinch from where he was standing. He whipped his head to the source of the voice and saw Katsuki.
"Hey Kacchan..."
Both stared to each other for a while until Katsuki broke it.
"You really love training at night huh."
Izuku awkwardly nodded as he scratched his head. "The cold wind at nigh makes me forget things and let me focus about what I'm doing."
Katsuki hummed in understanding. As another silence engulfed the quiet cold night.
Izuku bit his lips and looked away a little. "Kacchan..." he called out.
"Hmm? Spit it out if you want to say something damn nerd." Katsuki placed both his arms over his chest with one eye brow up.
"Uhmm... not to be so sappy or something.." he fiddled with his fingers and looked at Katsuki. "What are we??"
Katsuki's brows furrowed, "What are..what?"
"I-its just that Kacchan admitted his feelings as I admitted mine and like I wanted to ask... what are we, do we have a label or something?" He nervously looked at the now gaping Katsuki.
"Shitty Deku, I though you are a nerd because you are a damn nerd." Katsuki walked to Izuku.
"I mean, like before the bell rang earlier you mentioned about being stuck with you--"
Katsuki pressed his lips to Izuku shutting him up. Izuku's eyes went wide but relaxed to the kiss as Katsuki broke off.
"Yeah, your stuck with me, FOREVER, and that's your problem that you have to deal with me." Katsuki grinned at him.
Izuku nodded as he hugged Katsuki with tears gathering on his tearducts.
He sobbed as Katsuki patted his back.
"Sheesh, such a cry baby." Katsuki said. "But you're my cry baby."
Izuku giggled at Katsuki's chest and muttered about Katsuki being cheesy.
"Don't blame me damn nerd! Your sappiness is affecting me!"
"I..." Izuku said but not muffled by Katsuki's shirt.
"You what?"
"I love you Kacchan..."
"And he says I'm a sappy one.." he grunted and whipered, "Love you too Zuku."

"By the way, I noticed you are training even though at night you read your nerdy books." Katsuki said.
"It isn't nerdy books! Those are part of history! You should read one Kacchan! Just one! Like my favorite, The Little Prince!" Izuku insisted, "there is a part of the book where is like you and me..well somewhat like that."
Katsuki grunted, "How about we go to the library you always went to, to get the book you recommend and get a new book for you to read."
"Are you sure?" Izuku's eyes sparkled. "Like a date?"
"Well...you we can make it one." He grabbed Izuku's hand.
Katsuki looked up to the sky as Izuku followed. The moon was high up with a cool bright colored star next to it.
That was them. The moon and the star with a happy ending.
