After an unfortunate decision to go outside during a thunderstorm, the drenched forms of Hinata and Tsukishima stumble back to the safety of their apartment. Always the one to care about their health, Tsukishima takes it upon himself to dry Hinata off.

“Alright alright, listen up everyone!” Their Himizu sensei calls out over the constant chatter in the classroom. “We’re right in the middle of the school year now! So you know what that means, we’re about to start that yearly writing task we always have in this subject. The topic I just previously discussed earlier in the week will be the central theme and core of what your assignment will be about! So it could be familial love, platonic, romantic, newfound love, and could even be about your pets! I’ll let you all write whatever you want as long as the central topic is love.”
Alternatively,
Hinata navigates his days full of heartfelt feelings by impersonating a romance literature writer for an assignment, all while trying not to get slaughtered by his English teacher in the process. As well as maybe, just maybe, getting Tsukishima to finally blush for once in his life.

This takes place in between chapter 5~6 of “Eclipsed (Drabbles)”!
I didn’t know where to put this in the original story without it kinda clogging up the flow of it, so here it is!
(This also works as a standalone but it sometimes references the main fic.)
You don’t have to read this in order to understand the main story. It’s just here for decoration because I wanted to write headcanons and it got too long. Take a look if you want a quick spot of fluff~
