   Summary

   Daring pilot James Buchanan ‘Bucky’ Barnes and his best friend, co-pilot Steve Rogers, face the danger and excitement which awaits every pilot when they are accepted into S.H.I.E.L.D’s prestigious fighter weapons school. Bucky must overcome the spectre of his father’s legacy, bitter rivalries, and his own ego in order to succeed and become accepted as a member of the elite team known as the Avengers.

   But what happens when he meets his match in a smart-talking, no-nonsense flight instructor who not only ignites his temper but makes his heart race faster than an enemy target?
