Summary
Lan Wangji’s first mistake was in allowing Wei Ying to talk him into swapping half their meals at lunchtime.
He would have liked to tell himself that he was doing it for Wei Ying’s health: the orange-stained tupperware Wei Ying had removed from the microwave did not appear to contain any vegetables at all, in contrast to Lan Wangji’s own carefully nutritious meal, and so the exchange would benefit Wei Ying’s diet.
The truth, however, was that Wei Ying had exclaimed, “Lan Zhan, I made it myself! Don’t you want to try some?” and grinned at him expectantly with one of those smiles which transformed his entire face, from his warm eyes to his crinkled nose to his infuriatingly beautiful lips, and Lan Wangji had been helpless to say no, despite the skeptical cries from the rest of the table.
Lan Wangji struggles to control his bladder, and also his feelings for his annoyingly attractive classmate.
