Sirius took her by the shoulders. “Hermione, you didn’t do anything wrong.”
“Neither did you,” she enunciated slowly, placing her hands on his knees. She squeezed, trying to make him understand.
His eyes fell away from hers, but his expression seemed to soften....
His tongue swept against hers, and his thumb mimicked the same motion on her jaw. He stretched his other hand over her ribs, remembering the feel of her body. Her hands were inside his jacket, feeling his chest. He broke off from her mouth, pressing kisses into her neck.
“Sirius,” she breathed. “Maybe we should…”
Remembering that they were in a public park, he dropped his head, resting his forehead on her collarbone.Series
