It had been many years since he had been promoted to SPD Commander, many things had happened since much before that specifically since the formation of B Squadron, it was a roulette wheel of emotions, but if there was one thing he was grateful for from all this it was that he had finally managed to find real friends, definitely that long road would not have been the same without them.
But above all what he appreciated most was having Bridge by his side, before the formation of the B squadron, he already got along with Bridge, you could say that they had a pleasant atmosphere, you could say that they got along well in spite of Bridge's distracted and sometimes annoying attitude and with his very presumptuous attitude and the desire to have control of everything, always managing to reach a pleasant point in their coexistence. But I always underestimated Bridge's skills as a ranger.
When the B squad was formed and he was not the Red Ranger, it was one of the biggest disappointments of his life he felt that he had failed himself but above all the memory of his father, however he must admit that this made his attitude start to change for the better with the others, he saw that they had qualities that if he was the Red Ranger he would never have noticed in his companions.
When he first found out that he had underestimated Bridge as a Ranger it was when he was able to solve a crime by himself without their help, that day he noticed that there were big surprises in Bridge and he started to respect him as a Ranger and a friend.
When Jack left and took the position of red ranger, his attitudes as well as Bridge's now blue ranger had changed, they were much more mature and safer in their work as rangers, but Bridge before his eyes in spite of all that had happened was still the toast lover, who always got lost in his own thoughts and as the days went by he only wanted to protect and keep Bridge happy, because he realized that he enjoyed seeing Bridge being the same, he would give everything to protect his friend's beautiful smile.
When he was promoted to SPD Commander and Bridge to Red Ranger, he felt an immense pride in Bridge more than in himself, the peculiar ranger who started out as green was now the Red Ranger the leader of B Squadron and what he liked best and made him smile like a fool, was the happy smile he gave him as he said ''look Sky are the red ranger now, although I think I looked better with s the blue and green, my eyes and hair stood out more...'' and so he continued for a while and he just kept looking at him with the lover's smile he had exclusively for himself.
What Sky regretted most about being a commander, was that it wasn't almost impossible for him to accompany Bridge in his missions unless the situation became too difficult and he would have to make an appearance, but otherwise he and Bridge wouldn't coincide, that's why he was very sorry when he couldn't accompany Bridge in his trip to the past to help the Overdrive, He trusted Bridge's skills but couldn't help but think about things like he hadn't been hurt, the atmosphere was comfortable for him, he would be eating his beloved toast and many other things, which stopped and changed to immense joy when Bridge reported that he was returning to base.
He remembers that when Bridge crossed the door, to give the report of the mission, he remembers that his instinct made him go to hug him immediately, although Bridge was surprised and returned the hug while he told him with a joking tone that he should go more often so that he would hug him more, then this time his instinct didn't act by itself, but he saw Bridge's eyes and caressed his right cheek while he told him that he didn't want her to go so far away from him, Bridge's surprised eyes but above all the beautiful glow in them is something he will never forget, and even more when Bridge took his right hand free of his glove and passed his fingertips over his left cheek, while looking straight into his eyes, then Bridge said the word that had been in his heart for a long time 'Love', as it was that he gained the courage to approach Bridge's lips and join in that sea of emotions that Bridge felt and he definitely felt it when Bridge returned that kiss with the same intensity.
From that moment on their relationship became a sea of emotions, when they made official and published their relationship their friends said that it was about time, they had been watching him drooling for years over Bridge, in fact they were right although now that they were dating I could say that his loving smile was even more intense than before, But Bridge loved it, she said she loved seeing him happy, so there was no reason to hide it, Bridge held him in the palm of her hand, she loved when he smiled while rubbing her nose, the way he returned his kisses in a passionate way and his moans while they gave themselves to each other in the most loving lustful way.
Two years into their relationship, while they were resting in the training room after exercising, when he gave Bridge his hand to help him up, sliding the ring down his finger, Bridge's look of surprise was unique, as he knelt before the man of his life to ask him to long to be by his side for his whole life, to be together the stream of that river of emotions. Three years had passed since that day, which he thought had been the most beautiful of his life until Bridge walked into his office saying that he should take some time off from SPD, at which point he felt an anguish thought that Bridge had been injured or had a difficult illness to treat, and became more worried, when Bridge extended a box and caressed his belly with her hand, but those worries went down in history when she opened the box together with a proof and a sheet of paper stating that in 7 months her family would be three, she immediately saw Bridge smiling with tears down her cheeks and he was not long in joining in as she hugged him and kept thanking him for that beautiful news.
The pregnancy was a funny experience, to see how Bridge was excited with kicking him and talking to his belly, his heart was beating with love, Bridge looked beautiful, he was in charge of pleasing her husband's whims, nothing that he didn't do before, pleasing Bridge was something he loved and when he caressed her belly and felt a movement, he knew that this being that he hadn't even seen would be in the palm of his hand, He bought things every time they could for him baby, they didn't want to know the sex of the baby they left it as a surprise, being honest he knew that no matter what it was just the fact of being the proof of Bridge's love and he was enough to love him, his friends also sent gifts non-stop they were excited about the new member in SPD, even Kruger sent some small sets of clothes.
When the time came for Bridge to give birth it was almost dawn, he remembers that he was nervous and scared because he couldn't do anything for his husband who was seen to be in unbearable pain, when he had to be separated from him, when he entered the delivery room he didn't even sit down he stood up while waiting, his friends arrived a few moments later to support them, a moment later already when it was dawn everyone was shocked when they heard a cry, he felt a mixture of emotions that he didn't know exactly what to feel, until the nurse arrived with a baby in her arms towards him, when she showed him she knew that emotion was the only one that could feel love, she was a beautiful girl, she had Bridge's eyes, she was beautiful when she carried him her world was complemented, her friends were also excited, Syd and Z made funny noises and Jack slapped her back congratulating him.
When they took Bridge to the room he looked exhausted, he gave her a kiss with a lot of tenderness on her forehead and Bridge smiled at him in a tired but happy way, he gave her his little girl to carry, the image of Bridge carrying her new born daughter is something that she always carried in her heart, Bridge looked so happy seeing her daughter while she was looking at him with curiosity, she joined them while she was asking Bridge what her name would be, Bridge gave her a beautiful smile while she was saying Dawn.
And here she was two months later, watching her husband and daughter being illuminated by the rays of the sunrise while they are deeply asleep, Dawn sleeps peacefully in her daddy's arms, little Dawn is just as energetic as her daddy, that made her parents spend some nights of these last two months awake, it was exhausting but when they saw her laugh it was all they needed to recover their strength, no doubt she never saw herself when she was young with this life, He remembers that the only thing that interested him was to be a red ranger, there was no other coal that he wanted, but today seeing all the way that he has traveled with his beloved Bridge he knows that this is what he always wanted, and now with his beautiful Dawn, the journey has only become happier, he would give everything for them without hesitation because they are what give meaning to his life and he confirms that more now when he sees Bridge waking up while giving him a beautiful sleepy smile.
