Chapter Text
There was blood everywhere the smell was making his head hurt. His mom, Aunt and Uncle are laying in the blood. Izuku couldnt move he was leaning his body on the alley wall he couldnt move he was trying to move. What happened? He was walking with kacchan then the next thing he knows hes on the ground, wheres kacchan? he looks around trying to find the blonde boy.
"Kacchan?" his voice is quiet and raspy. had he been crying? that didnt matter he needs to find kacchan
He pulls himself up the wall with the little strength he has. A sharp pain spikes through his leg, he winces but keeps going. "Kacchan" he says once more with a little more volume. His leg is definitely broken but that doesnt matter he has a mission to find his best friend. He hops on one leg towards his moms body. "Mom" he gets on his knees and shakes her "Mom get up i dont know where kacchan is" no response. Izuku then turns to his aunt and uncle next "Auntie Mitsuki Uncle Masaru wake up please" no response again. Tears spill out of his eyes as he shakes the bodies of the adults more.
"Z-Zuku" Izuku snaps around meeting the face of his best friend. The first thing he notices is the tears streaming down his face and the dirt and blood on his clothes.
"Kacchan!" He tries to run to him but immediately cries out in pain as his leg is still broken. Katsuki runs to him and sits him down on the ground with more tears spilling out of his eyes. "Sit still" he sat down trying to control his sobs.
They sit in silence while staring that the three bodies and thats when it hits him, a villian attacked them but how? how did it happen so fast and why did it happen?
"Kacchan what happened" it barely came out as a whisper
He didnt say anything. Izukus ears were ringing his hair stuck to his face his eyes were hurting because of all the crying, his breaths were uneven, he couldnt breathe how do you breathe? why is his leg broken why isnt mom waking up why cant he remember anything.
Izuku was breathing really hard and fast it was the first thing that katsuki noticed. "Hey izu calm down" Katsuki pulls him into his arms "Izuku calm down breathe with me okay?!" Katsuki was panicking hes never been in this situation before hes only 8 years old how the hell is he supposed to know what to do. "Izuku please you're scaring me. Just.. Just listen to my voice and follow my breathing alright" Its small but he sees him nod. "Okay okay just like that.. good"
They sit like that for a few seconds and pull apart, its quiet again.
"K-Kacchan what h-happened" Izuku looks into the red eyes.. and Kastuki starts talking.
It was a nice day Dad and Mom had no work and so did Auntie Inko which means katsuki and izu could spend the day together. They went to the new mall that opened up just recently. It was 12pm when they left the mall. The 3 adults and 2 children were rounding a corner when suddenly they werent on the street but instead in an alley way. Katsuki instantly stopped making Izuku stop as well. Where were they? He looked up to his mom and saw the same confusion written on her face. Then it happened, it happened so fast. A man in a white mask with a (smile?) engraved in it was standing in front of them. The adults instantly take action and stand in front of him and Izuku.
"Who are you and what do you want from us" His mom says
The man then starts laughing "Im sure you know very well on what i want" Katsuki shoots daggers at him, its obvious he wants money
Masaru starts talking "Of course sir take all the money you want but dont touch my family" The crazy man starts laughing again "Its a deal" Masaru gets out his wallet and walks slowly towards the masked man. "Take it all, now please send us back to our previous-" before he could finish his sentence the masked can pulls out a knife and stabs him right in the chest. Time stopped for Katsuki his mind went blank, His mom was already running towards his dad, Inko hurried and pushed him and izuku out to the side and ran to get to his mom. Then hell broke loose, the masked guy was gone but was right behind him and Izuku, was it his quirk? He grabbed Izuku from Katsukis grip.
"Dont fucking touch him" Explosions burned in his hand as he jumped into the masked guy "Kacchan!" Katsuki watched as his best friend struggled in the mans arms he was in "let me go!" Izuku screamed and kicked he was almost out he can do it. Time slowed again for Katsuki, he was making explosions left and right trying not to hurt Izuku. Inko was right behind him when the masked guy pushed him out of the way and stabbed Inko repeatedly in the chest. Izuku didnt stop screaming, Katsuki ran back to the masked man when a pair of arms wrapped around him and held him back "What the fuck let me go!" He thrashed around "Katsuki stop Katsuki fucking stop" He stopped and looked back and saw his mothers eyes "I want you to get Izuku and run please baby just fucking run" He was about to protest when he heard another high pitch scream. Izuku was on the ground holding his leg crying.
"Thats what you get for being a fucking brat next time dont struggle and i wouldnt have to break your leg"
His mom put him down and ran towards the masked man and Izuku. "Mom wait NO!" It was too late. The masked man turned around and stabbed her right in chest then he was gone.
