They had been friends once, before the unspeakable happened. She had tried—and failed—to salvage what remained of their bond. Yet, sometimes their eyes meet across the Great Hall for a fleeting moment, despite either wanting to acknowledge it ever happened. Tension had been brewing, waiting to rise to the surface.
When seventeen-year-old Haruno Sakura witnessed Uchiha Sasuke unravelled into a storm of anger and madness, she couldn't deny that she still cared for him. He intended to leave Hogwarts. She was prepared help. No matter the consequence.
Sasuke, however, seemed to have other plans.
