Chapter Text
For all intents and purposes, Chiyuki Midoriya should be terrified.
Having your graduation suddenly go wrong by having one student, Himiko Toga, go bonkers? That's scary.
That same student attacking everybody to try and get a taste of their blood? That's even scarier.
Not only pushing said blooddtained student back, but putting yourself between her and the students she attacked? That was the stuff of nightmares!
And yet, the only thing in Midoriya's mind wasn't fear, but the determination to keep everybody safe.
"Well, this day just keeps getting better and better!" The bloodstained schoolgirl chirped before licking her lips. "Not only do I get to be free, but I also get to have fun with a girl friend!"
Midoriya gritted her teeth. "We're nowhere near that close!"
Toga clicked her tongue and waved her index finger. "I said girl friend, separate."
"Midoriya-san!"
The greenette turned around, and saw one student stand up: it was Saito, a guy from her class that looked like a male version of her, at least until she gained a pair of twintails and like a dozen bandages all over her body.
"I know what you're trying to do, but this is too dangerous!" he exclaimed. "You have to get out of here!"
"And what about you and the rest of our classmates?!" Midoriya snapped back. "Are you seriously gonna let yourselves get killed by Toga-san?! Your Quirk's useless for combat, Saito-kun!"
"But yours isn't, right, Midoriya-san?" Toga asked, flashing an excited grin as the greenette turned back to her. "At least, I ask, since I've never seen you use your Quirk before."
Midoriya gritted her teeth, but before she could respond, a teacher spoke up:
"Midoriya-san, I normally wouldn't do this, but desperate situations require desperate measures: you're allowed to use your Quirk, and you won't get in trouble for it!"
"How sad, letting someone use their Quirk only when your own life is at risk," Toga hissed with a smile as she tightened her grip on her knife. "I think I know who I'm gonna kill first!"
Toga rushed towards the teacher, giggling like a madman. But just before she could stab them to death, Midoriya appeared in between them and used her Quirk:
A large, circular shield of blood emerged from the uncovered back of her left hand, partially catching Toga's knife before it hardened.
"T-The hell?!"
Toga tried to pull the knife, but no matter how hard she pulled, the knife stayed in place. Then, using all her strength, Toga finally pulled it off...
Only to reveal the blade had been chipped in half; the other half still lodged in the crystalline blood shield.
Speechless, Toga could only stare in disbelief as the shield turned liquid again, the blade dropping as Midoriya removed the bandage covering her palm, then aimed it straight at Toga as blood erupted from it.
Next thing Toga knew, she had been restrained by the blood circling around her torso, hardening moments before Midoriya pulled Toga towards.
"Since... When can you do that?" Toga asked, still stunned by the display. "In fact... What was that?"
"You really can't figure it out? That was my Quirk." Midoriya sternly responded. "Now be quiet as our teachers call the cops."
Getting the hint, the teachers worked together to take the injured students to safety, while also calling the police.
And in the meantime, Midoriya glared at Toga, making sure she wouldn't try anything funny... Though what she did instead wasn't much better:
She blushed, beamed a tiny smile, and cooed:
"Midoriya-san, you're so amazing."
Midoriya, for her part, rolled her eyes and responded bluntly:
"Flattery will get you nowhere."
Chiyuki Midoriya! Quirk: Cold Blooded! She can manipulate blood, as well as harden it into a crystalline form and back!
