Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

"Blood might make you related but a bond makes a family."

Those were the words Fuyumi Todoroki lived by ever since she was little. Growing up in a world with quirks made everyone have different beliefs, even if those beliefs cost her a chance at a normal family.

It was a cloudy day with not many people around, she was walking to a few schools for a chance to interview for an intern position for experience. The problem with being homeschooled and taking most online classes for most of her life was that she never fully understood what it was like to teach children. 'Dad definitely didn't want me going around saying he was a villain.'

She arrived at an old school that accepted interns easily but as soon as she crossed the gate, her eyes widened at what she saw.

"STAY DOWN DEKU!" A blond kid shouted as he aimed a literal explosive punch at a green haired child.

"AH!" The green boy screamed in pain cowering in fear.

"YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A WEAK FREAK! Hold him down." The blond ordered his two lackies as they started pinning the kid against the floor. The blond started stalking closer, activating his quirk, and Fuyumi couldn't take it anymore.

"HEY LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Fuyumi screamed, rushing towards the kids.

"Shit let's bail!" The kids spoke as they started running away from her.

Making it towards the kid, Fuyumi checked on the crying boy and picked him up slightly. "Kid are you ok? Do I need to call an ambulance?"

"I-im fine, th-ank you for h-elping me." The boy stuttered giving a sheepish grin.

"It's no problem, uh I don't know your name." Fuyumi smiled sheepishly.

"Mi-midoriya." The kid answered without making eye contact.

"Nice to meet you Midoriya, I'm… Fuyumi." She answered hesitantly, as she didn't like being a Todoroki.

"Ni-nice to meet you F-fuyumi, uh did y-you need something?" Midoriya asked, standing up slowly.

"Wait don't sit up too fast, you could still be injured!" Fuyumi panicked supporting him in case he collapsed.

"It is fine, I need to go home because I'm late." Midoriya spoke, flashing her a soft smile, but his eyes spoke differently with being frightened and may sprint at the slightest movements.

"If you have to, but I could accompany you and make sure those kids don't follow." Fuyumi spoke worried about the boy.

"It is fi-fine, thanks again." Midoriya bowed, before quickly walking away towards the gate.

Fuyumi watched him leave from her view and sighed at the terrible attempt to help him. She was fairly new to social interactions and this was her first time speaking to someone who was being bullied. 'He had those scared eyes like us.'

Turning towards the school, she had fierce determination in her eyes and marched in.

'I could at least make this boy's life easier if I report the incident.'

Week later

Time nearly flew by as she was walking back to Aldera again. She didn't get to apply for an interview since she spent most of her day explaining about the bullying against Midoriya.

'I wonder if he is better?' Fuyumi thought, making her way towards the entrance of the school.

Thinking back to the incident reminded her of her baby brother making her shuddered. She was basically seeing a smaller version of abuse compared to her father's but at least she could do something about it.

Entering the school she made her way towards the Principal's office only to stop when she heard a loud noise.

*SLAM*

Peeking around a corner of a hall she spotted the same blond haired kid, pinning Midoriya against the lockers. 'Him again?'

Looking around, she spotted a pair of teachers talking next to the kids, completely turning a blind eye from the students. 'WHAT THE HELL! AREN'T THEY SUPPOSED TO STOP THIS!'

It only got worse when the blondy started burning the poor kid, as the teachers laughed at his suffering. Rage was swelling within her but she didn't budge yet, as she wanted to see what else happens around this school.

Soon enough when Midoriya crumbled on the floor the teachers patted the blonds back and gave Midoriya a slip pointing the direction to the Principal's office. 'FUCK THIS SCHOOL!'

Turning around, she walked away from the incident careful not to cause suspicion if this school was willing to do worse to cover their tracks. 'Can never let your guard down, especially around nasty criminals' her father always spouted around the house.

She wanted to burn this school and rescue Midoriya but she had no evidence of bullying and wasn't a cop or a hero to investigate this place. Even if she has connections to Endeavor she doubted he would pay this place a low tier investigation that could probably take years.

'What can I do? I need to help Midoriya!' She thought waiting outside the school gates.

Looking at the school and remembering her career path, she sighed and thought of one solution. "Can't believe i'm doing this."

Since school was over, she watched as the remaining children left the schools. She was flabbergasted at the display of quirk use as she rarely saw this many people use their quirks at once. 'Calm down Fuyumi, they're kids, they all didn't hurt Midoriya.'

Soon enough the blond and his lackeys came out all laughing and not caring about their surroundings. 'How can they laugh about beating up Midoriya!'

She waited about 10 more minutes and was about to leave and come back tomorrow until she saw a person jumping over a wall. Recognizing the green haired she immediately bolted towards the kid who just recovered from his landing.

"Midoriya!" She called out excitedly making the boy flinch and stare at her.

Once he recognised her his features relaxed a little and he gave a bright smile. "H-hey Fu-fuyumi."

"Are you ok?" She questioned clearly getting straight to the point.

"Uh what?" The boy blinked in confusion.

"I'm asking ,are you ok? I saw what happened in the hall and I'm sorry you had to go through that while I watched." She bowed in front of the shocked boy.

"You saw?" He was frightened by being caught in that situation.

"Yes, and I'm sorry." Fuyumi bowed again in shame.

"Hey it is ok, and you have nothing to be sorry for." Izuku spoke softly towards her.

"Thanks, but I promise to help you Midoriya." Fuyumi spoke with much determination as possible.

"Excuse me?" Midoriya spoke, tilting his head in confusion. Fuyumi stood tall and gave a heartwarming smile as she spoke.

"I want to take you in as my personal student."

Chapter Text

Despite What many would believe, Inko Midoriya was not a stupid woman. She has spent 11 years raising her son the best she can but she knew he was bullied.

No one knows her baby the best besides her and she was willing to bet the reason her son was late was because some kids were hurting her baby.

*knock knock*

So imagine her surprise when she rushes towards the door and opens it to reveal her baby and a ,white haired with crimson streaks, woman accompanying her son.

"Hello Mrs.Midoriya!" The woman bows towards her in a greeting.

"Oh hello, and who are you?" She asks in an unsure manner.

"M-mom this is Fu-fuyumi, And Fuyumi this is my m-mother." Izuku greets nervously.

"Hello and what brings you here?" Inko asked unsure what to think of this woman.

"Can I come inside? This will be a long story." She explains kindly but she also notices Izuku's nervousness making her question letting her in.

"C-come on in F-fuyumi." Izuku answered for her and walked past towards the couch.

"Well if Izuku says so, then welcome." Inko bowed walking towards the couch besides Izuku.

Soon enough Fuyumi was on a separate couch and spoke first. "What do you know about your son's school Mrs.Midoriya?"

Inko was confused why she asked that first but decided to answer her. " It is a pretty low class school but it is the cheapest we could afford without finances."

"I see, and are you aware of the bullying there towards your son?" Fuyumi asks, making inko sigh at the situation. 'At least someone recognised it.'

Looking towards Izuku he seemed frightened and refused to look her in the eyes. Taking a deep breath she spoke her answer. "Yes I know about the bullying."

"What?" Izuku asked ,shocked she knew.

"Izuku I wash your clothes, and you don't think I notice the blood on them?" Inko asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Sorry." Izuku apologized, looking down in shame.

"You have nothing to be sorry for baby, as I always knew those kids were mean to you." Inko spoke softly, wrapping her baby in her arms.

"Well.. it isn't just the kids." Fuyumi mumbled out looking away shyly.

"What?" Inko asks, glaring at the woman.

"Um… t-the teachers en-encourage the b-bullying and M-midoriya gets in trouble for being the v-victim." Fuyumi stutters out in fear of dying from a mother's rage.

"I'm gonna kill them." Inko spoke getting off her couch.

"WAIT!!!" Both her son and Fuyumi stop her from murdering an entire school.

"They hurt my baby, and think they could get away with it!" Inko argued, glaring at them in rage.

"We know Mrs.Midoriya but that can wait, Midoriya needs his mom." Fuyumi spoke softly to ease the woman with the help of her son holding her hand.

Taking a deep breath, she sat down and hugged her boy. "I'm so sorry Izuku, I didn't know it was that bad." Inko cried holding her boy for dear life.

"It's not your fault!" Izuku cried hugging her too.

After destroying the last tissue box, Inko sighed and turned towards Fuyumi. "Thank you for telling me."

"I'm just happy to help Mrs.Midoriya." Fuyumi bowed awkwardly. She was used to crying given her household but these tears were filled with love, and she couldn't help the feeling that she actually did something right for once.

"So what now? I don't want to send you back into that hell they call a school and we can't afford to move or find a cheaper school."  Inko asked her son worried about his education.

"That's where I come in Mrs.Midoriya." Fuyumi spoke up cheerfully.

"Excuse me?" Inko asked, confused.

"The reason I was at the school in the first place was to apply for an internship for experience. However once I saw what they did to Midoriya then I forgot about them and came up with a solution." Fuyumi smiled sheepishly, scratching her cheek.

"What solution is that?" Inko asked.

"I am willing to teach Midoriya myself." Fuyumi answered, shocking the mother.

"Excuse me?" Inko asked unsure if she heard correctly.

"I want to teach Midoriya." Fuyumi smiles at the family.

"But I .. How does that work? Can you teach his grade level? What about the grades above? How much will this cost? And-" Fuyumi put her hand up to silence the woman from going into a self panic attack.

"As I said, I am willing to teach Midoriya and am very capable of teaching nearly all grades except college level. However a few more online classes than I may be capable until next year."  Fuyumi explains to the mother.

"Oh but how much will this cost?" Inko asks worriedly in case this wasn't going to work out.

"It doesn't have to cost anything, and as I said, I need experience around children so this is basically my training to be an official teacher." Fuyumi smiled ,rubbing Izuku's fluffy hair embarrassing the boy.

"I can't do that to you! I can pay for-" Fuyumi raises her hand to stop the panicking woman.

"I don't need the money Mrs.Midoriya, and I come from an extremely wealthy family so money is never an issue with me." Fuyumi shrugs off the problem ,not noticing the shocked eyes of the two Midoriya's.

Recovering Inko spoke up. "I don't feel comfortable with this arrangement as you are basically doing so much for us. Can I atleast interest you in home-cooked meals and some pay?"

Fuyumi thought for a moment until she smiled. "That would do nicely Mrs.Midoriya, and I hope I won't burden you with extra meals."

"It's no problem, and just call me Inko please to not confuse me with my baby." Inko smiled happily.

The two women spent the rest of the day discussing how to teach the boy ,and Izuku was nervous if this was all too good to be true for someone like him.

'Why does she care about me?'

Tried my best to reason a 18 year old teaching a 11 year old. Did I do good?

Chapter Text

Arriving home Fuyumi took a deep breath before opening the door to the hell she called home. Walking in there was already the sound of yelling making her flinch instinctively.

"SHOTO!" Her father yelled stomping up to the front door. Arrived a big man with red Hair and his traditional flaming mustache glaring at her.

"Hey dad." Fuyumi waved nervously at him.

"You're not Shoto, but did you see him out there?" Enji asked, raising an eyebrow.

"No sir bu-" Fuyumi was brushed off when her father turned away.

"Get dinner ready, as I will find my creation for another round of training." He scoffed out nearly leaving the room.

"WAIT DAD!" Fuyumi yelled in a panic. 'Why did I yell!'

"What did I tell you about yelling in this house, young lady?" Her father growled out in annoyance.

"Sorry, but I wanted to tell you something important." Fuyumi spoke worriedly, bowing for forgiveness.

"What is it?" Enji asked, giving his full attention in a long time. 'When was the last time he ever payed attention to me?'

"I… I wanted to tell you.. I-" Fuyumi stuttered, failing to speak up since she was locking up from his intense gaze.

"Are you gonna tell me or are you just wasting my time?" Her father growled out in annoyance.

"Sorry I'm not, but I'm just gonna be teaching a student that way I can have some practice on being a teacher." Fuyumi spilled out in a panic before her father could get angry.

"And why would you do that?" He asked glaring at her or were those different emotions?

"I.. I want to be a teacher and.. I never got to talk to alot of people let alone kids younger than me so… I just want 1 student before I decide if a teacher's life is right for me." Fuyumi admitted softly not trying to see the man's face if it was in pure disgust or something.

"... where are you gonna teach them?" Her father asked suddenly.

"Excuse me?" Fuyumi looked up in shock and nearly coiled herself from her father's stern gaze.

"You heard me. Where are you gonna teach them?" Her father's gaze narrowed into her soul.

"Uh I… haven't decided that far ahead, and… wanted to ask you if I should… leave the house during... that time and go to a library, have…  a room here, or visit the kid's house for his lessons?" Fuyumi asked nervously, squirming where she stood.

"I don't care as long as you don't interrupt me or shoto and get back before nighttime for you to cook dinner. I do expect you to not get into trouble when it involves my training." Enji growled out angrily making Fuyumi nod in agreement. 'Basically he doesn't want to have Midoriya figure out the training and other stuff.'

"Yes sir, and I'm… sorry for wasting your time with this." Fuyumi apologized just in case she upset her father.

"Good, now I just have to find Shoto and also cook something with more spice in the meat this time. The old maid is getting hysterical and puts less seasonings than usual, making it annoying." Enji huffed out, now leaving the room leaving a shocked Fuyumi behind.

Leaning against the wall Fuyumi giggled in madness at what just happened. "He allowed me to teach, I can teach Izuku anywhere or here."

Staying there for a moment, Fuyumi got off the wall and headed towards her room to prepare for her first official student.

'I'm so excited to teach Izuku!'

Paranoia was all that Izuku was feeling currently as he paced around the room since his mind was racing with all sorts of reactions and failures he was expecting to see.

Most people would say he was overreacting but given his circumstances then this was totally reasonable. 'Who would want to waste their time teaching a quirkless kid who is doomed for failure?'

It stung knowing he was basically using Fuyumi's kindness when she could have been teaching some other students. Also if he wasn't in the way or not appear as pathetic then she could have gotten a real internship!

He didn't know what to do or why he agreed but he knew he would have to tell her sooner or later. 'Best to toss aside useless junk early instead of investing countless hours on it for little results.'

Thinking back to the school gate, he cursed himself for agreeing so readily but the look in her eyes that showed determination and her warm smile washed away all the negative thoughts as he felt comfortable around her.

He didn't deserve such a nice person's help and Fuyumi shouldn't have to waste her time on a Deku like him.

"I'll tell her soon." Izuku muttered to himself as he laid down on the bed staring at his All-Might posters. They had a confident smile but Fuyumi's smile was more soft and caring that he didn't want to think about it in disgust with him. Closing his eyes, he let himself dream of his happy world with Fuyumi teaching him and making her proud.

'It's nice to believe that would last but soon this dream will fade away like the rest of them."

Chapter Text

It was a cloudy day today and Fuyumi couldn't be more thankful for the weather since she does tend to overheat a lot.

It is why she usually leaves the house to get groceries when her father and little brother Shoto start training. Too much heat is bad for her, and being around two flame users does get tiring but at least she won't get overheated as much if she teaches Izuku.

It took a few days but she finally had everything ready to teach the kid, or atleast see where he is academically wise. If he was capable of moving ahead then she will let him move ahead of his grade level, or if he needs to slowly catch up then she wasn't in a rush and will take her time teaching him.

Arriving at Midoriya's apartment. She saw a sticky note on the door from Inko and read it quickly.

[The door is locked but call this # and Izuku will open the door. Also be sure to ask him for my number too.]

Grabbing her phone, she dialed the number and waited for the person to answer.

"Hello?" A voice she obviously recognized as Izuku's spoke meekly.

"Hey Izuku it is Fuyumi, and I'm outside so can you please let me in?" Fuyumi spoke softly trying to not pressure the boy who obviously has anxiety.

"Oh sorry! Give me a second." Izuku replied quickly as she could hear ruckus in the building assuming he was sprinting for the door.

She guessed right as the door swung wide open revealing a fluffy haired mess and with a T-shirt that said 'T-shirt' with a few drool spots on it.

"Hey F-fuyumi." Izuku answered ,not looking at her straight in the eye.

"You look like you just got out of bed." Fuyumi giggled as Izuku started blushing from being too obvious.

"I kinda did." Izuku admitted sheepishly scratching his cheek.

"No worries, as I can understand it must be hard to adapt to suddenly being homeschooled." Fuyumi shrugged as not even she was sure if this was being done correctly.

"Come in and don't worry about where you want to set up, as anywhere is fine." Izuku spoke making his way towards his room while Fuyumi chose the Table to set up their first class together.

Soon enough Izuku came back looking better and had a new school notebook with him. "Thank you again." Izuku spoke sitting down across from her.

She didn't blame him for wanting to keep his distance, but it did hurt he didn't trust her fully yet. "It's no problem Izuku, but I do need to test you on this first day before I actually start teaching you."

"Test me on what?" Izuku asked, tilting his head in confusion.

"You will see." Fuyumi smiled softly, handing him a stack of papers she downloaded from the internet to test his intelligence.

"Am I timed on this?" Izuku asked nervously, squirming in his chair.

"No, and I just want you to give it your all." Fuyumi smiled innocently. Yes this was a cruel first day but if she wanted to teach him effectively then they need to see where he stands and how to improve himself.

About 2 hours later, with Fuyumi reading the latest hero news on the phone as she didn't want to interfere with his thinking process, she was surprised when Izuku suddenly stopped his cute muttering spree and spoek up. "I'm finished."

"That fast?" Fuyumi asked, shocked by his words.

"Was I not su-pposed to finish it ea-rly?" Izuku asked nervously.

"No it is fine, as I just expected another hour is all." Fuyumi spoke while taking the stack of papers.

"What d-do I do now?" Izuku asked nervously towards her.

"Well considering I spent a whole 2 hours on my phone playing on my apps, I say you do the same." Fuyumi smiled looking at Izuku's shocked face.

"I can't do that. I-" Fuyumi raised her hands to silence him and luckily he didn't protest.

"Trust me, I have nothing to teach you currently as this is the first day and I just wanted to see where you stood Intelligently.  Go ahead and relax or grab a bite and I'll tell you the results when I'm done. Deal?" Fuyumi offered a handshake and could practically see Izuku battling his conflicting thought until he gave up and shook her hand.

"Deal." He sighed defeatedly.

"Good." Fuyumi smiled triumphantly as she watched the kid leave her to her own work.

It took about an hour, but she was finally done with grading these papers and she was honestly impressed with Izuku's intelligence. 'He is currently at High-school level but not enough to say that he is a 2nd year. So I will make him review his middle school lessons and teach him 1st year High-school'

Taking a stack of papers, she packed up and headed towards Izuku's room knocking softly.

"Coming." Izuku spoke opening the door and Fuyumi was surprised at the room she saw.

Covered all over the walls was All-Might merchandise everywhere and there was a giant poster on the ceiling too. 'If dad was here this whole building will be turned to ashes.'

"Want to hear your results for the test?" Fuyumi ignored the problem that this kid should not meet Endeavor.

"Y-yes please." Izuku answered nervously.

"Good, and I have to say you are a very intelligent person for an 11 year old Izuku. You are 1st year High-school level so that is where we would start when we start the lessons." Fuyumi smiled ruffling his soft hair. 'It's so fluffy!'

"Wait really? But how?" Izuku asked, shocked by the reveal.

"Never underestimate the power of your brain Izuku. It is a good trait to have honestly." Fuyumi smiled as she stopped petting the green floof.

"Th-anks but what now?" Izuku asked nervously, as if expecting more tests.

"We do what you want, as I'm free to stay all day or leave if you want privacy. We could play games or just watch TV and chat." Fuyumi shrugged, still smiling at him.

"I...I want to … play games." Izuku nervously answered, scratching his cheek.

"All right, so what games do you have? I'm pretty sure I can at least put up a challenge." Fuyumi smiled playfully as her plan worked. 'Kid is too stiff, and I want him to feel comfortable otherwise he would be just a nervous mess every time I come here. Hopefully a few games will ease his worries.'

'I will be the best teacher for Midoriya!'

Chapter Text

Fuyumi Todoroki was a patient woman, she never fought back and gave her family time to fix itself up soon. It hasn't happened yet but she could wait, and even if it never happened then she could at least say she tried.

Which is why leaving the house for the 7th day this week hurt because it was her dead brother's birthday today. She didn't like to pick favorites but Toya was the most understandable sibling she had and it reminded her that the perfect family she dreamed of would never come back.

Natsuo was too busy moping and planning subtle threats to hurt Dad, and shouto was too young to remember Toya so he doesn't care as much. She didn't know about her dad as if he cared or not because he was always sporting that frown on his face.

She hated frowns and didn't want to be currently surrounded by all this negativity so she left the house to teach Izuku as given his timid personality, he was actually smiling most of the time. 'It is a nice change of pace.'

Reaching the apartment, she knocked and waited for the young boy to answer the door.

"Coming." A shout was heard and as soon as the door was opened. The smile she was hoping to see from Izuku wasn't there as he was now frowning at her.

"Is som-ething wrong Izuku?" Fuyumi asked nervously.

"No but why are you crying?" Izuku asked softly as he opened the door for her to step in.

"Huh, I'm crying?" Fuyumi asked confused and wiped her eyes as yes, she was indeed crying.

"You didn't know?" Izuku asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah and sorry for worrying you. Today isn't a good day and I would rather focus on something else so let's get started." Fuyumi spoke quickly, wanting to avoid the questioning.

"Ok, and If it is ok, then can we skip on today's lessons?" Izuku asked nervously towards her.

"Oh sure, have anything planned?" Fuyumi was interested since this was the first time he asked something from her since she started a week ago.

"I wanted to ask if you wanted to take a break today and just relax. School is usually 5 days a week and yet you are teaching me every day so why not just go out and eat or play video games." Izuku answered quickly without stuttering once.

"Oh uh sorry I guess I forgot you students have 5 days of school per week. However if you insist then why not cook dinner together?" Fuyumi smiled ruffling his hair. 'How the hell did I forget that students have five days of school!'

"S-sure. My mom said she wanted to make you dinner but you al-ways leave before she arr-ives so I am gonna make dinner today." Izuku declared nervously as he walked to the kitchen and took out a pack of beef.

"Sorry, but I do have curfew and I have to take a train to get to my house." Fuyumi apologized to the boy for his mother.

"It is fine, and honestly I'm kinda glad you leave early because my mom is a hard worker and doesn't need the extra tasks." Izuku answered as he started grabbing the pans.

"Oh, is she ok?" Fuyumi asked nervously towards her student as she grabbed a few cans they might need.

"Yeah, but being a single mom is hard so I do my best to lighten her load." Izuku answered thoughtfully and Fuyumi was surprised how open Izuku was as he rambled without even knowing. 'Maybe I can take this opportunity to learn about him.'

"I see, and I'm guessing she taught you how to cook when she isn't around?" Fuyumi asked ,grabbing some rice to cook.

"Nope, I learned by myself but I did get some tips from her to not cause a fire." Izuku chuckled weakly frying the meat.

"That's good, don't want to worry your mother for accidentally burning down the house." Fuyumi giggled pouring the rice into the rice cooker.

"Yep, but nothing beats her home cooked meals." Izuku stated proudly cutting up the beef in the pan.

"That's sweet, so l am guessing you wish to be a cook when you grow up?" Fuyumi asked, now cutting open some tomato sauce, not noticing Izuku tense from her question.

"Well not exactly." Izuku answered feeling his world strain around him.

"Oh? Then what does my favorite student want to do with their life?" Fuyumi turned to stare at Izuku with a soft smile but quickly frowned seeing tears form in his eyes.

"I… I want… I want to be a hero?" Izuku answered honestly not starring in her direction.

"Why cry about that? It is a good goal to pursue." Fuyumi spoke walking towards her student and placing a hand on his hair.

"Pr-promise not to get mad?" Izuku asked, finally starring her in the eyes as tears leaked.

"Why would I be mad at you? You are the sweetest ball of fluff and sunshine I met." Fuyumi spoke now hugging the boy and comforting him.

"I...I'm quirkless." Izuku answered honestly, making Fuyumi raise an eyebrow at that statement.

"What's wrong with being Quirkless?" Fuyumi asked, confused about the sudden confession.

"I.. I don't have any power, and I.. I can't be a h-hero." Izuku answered starring at her with pain in his eyes.

"Who said that?" Fuyumi asked nicely but underneath she was ready to hurt someone. 'Wonder if I can have dad burn down their house.'

"E-everyone, and … I'm sorry for dumping my problems onto you." Izuku spoke ,pulling away from her grasp but Fuyumi didn't let go.

"Shush child, you have nothing to be sorry for and it is ok for you releasing those pent up emotions. I don't fully understand but I guess those kids and teachers gave you shit for something out of your control." Fuyumi spoke, ruffling his hair and thought back to the day Izuku was beat up. 'Now I know what I'm dealing with. He thinks society is out to get him just because of a genetic lottery.'

"But it is my fault, I was the one dreaming too big an-" Izuku didn't finish as she kneeled down before him.

"Izuku ,do you want to be a hero?" Fuyumi asked seriously.

"What?" Izuku asked, confused by her tone.

"Do you wish to be a hero?" Fuyumi asked again in a softer but still strict tone.

"Yes." Izuku answered.

"Why?" Fuyumi asked, not taking her eyes off him.

"I… I just want to help people. I want people to feel safe when they see me smile." Izuku answered honestly, letting a few tears slip.

"Then smile and become a hero, and I will help you." Fuyumi spoke softly, wrapping her arms around the boy.

"You mean it, I can become a hero?" Izuku asked, no he didn't ask he begged for an answer.

"Yes, and you will be a wonderful hero." Fuyumi answered with certainty.

The two of them had a fulfilling meal that day that changed their lives for the better.

Chapter Text

"How the hell can I make a Hero!" Fuyumi sighed out as she laid on her bed.

It has been a few days since Izuku confessed his problem and opened up his goal to her, but Fuyumi was stuck on a road block.

Her first idea was to try and bring Izuku to her father's place and have the #2 hero teach him but quickly trashed the idiotic idea for one main reason. 'I can't have dad teach him, Izuku is too squishy and doesn't know if dad likes or hates quirkless people.'

The next Idea she came up with is to possibly have Izuku doing basic exercises before he reached a Hero school but saw a few problems with that. 'Many kids will also be doing basic training as well, with some even knowing how to fight, so Izuku won't stand out or do as much damage compared to the average participants.'

"Why is this so hard!" Fuyumi wined ,getting out of her bed, and got dressed to go teach Izuku again.

She realized that after that day, Izuku smiled a lot more genuinely compared to his other smiles that she soon realized was fake. It was heartbreaking to think about what her student went through if his only choice was to keep smiling even if he was hurting.

"I SAID USE YOUR FIRE SHOTO!!!" Shouted a familiar voice that spooked her out of her thoughts.

Looking around she didn't realize she was next to her father's training room, and from the sound of it, he was 'training' Shoto again.

Fuyumi felt bad she couldn't help her little brother, and the many times she tried before resulted in her father's wrath directed at her. After many times she just gave up the tough girl approach and decided to just help her baby brother with Recovery along with Natsuo who had better experience since he was studying early for medical schools.

Honestly she felt useless and that the only thing she was able to do was cook, clean, and tutor. It was frustrating and she couldn't understand why, was it because of guilt? That had to be it, right?

*vrrr*

"Huh?" Fuyumi spoke, suddenly regaining herself again as she took out her phone and smiled.

My little Student

#1Hero: Are you coming over today?

Icecream: Of course!

#1Hero: Alright, I'll make something quick for us to eat

Icecream: Hey don't cook without me!

1#Hero: Fine, I'll just run to the store and buy us ice cream

Icecream: Wow you really know how to make a lady happy!

1#Hero: what does that mean? Doesn't everyone like Ice Cream?

Icecream: I'll tell you when you're older

Chuckling softly, Fuyumi turned off her phone and left the house as she made her way towards her station. 'Still need an Idea on what to do for Izuku's training.'

She could possibly spend some of her allowance on getting Izuku a dojo or something similar but there was the idea that Izuku will be fighting quirkless and most Places have a no quirk fighting rule set up by law enforcement. 'Izuku needs to fight people with Quirks if he ever wants to adapt instead of doing the same routine for the rest of his life and get killed because he doesn't know how to fight a person who has a built in weapon.'

Racking her brain, she sighed as she took a shortcut through an alleyway to not miss the train and have Izuku waiting longer than he needed to.

With Fuyumi distracted in her thoughts, she didn't notice a person sneaking behind her as the stalker yanked her hair and suddenly pinned her to the wall. "Ahh-mmm!!!"

Having her mouth suddenly covered, she saw a man with glass eyes staring at her creepily as he brought a pocket knife from his sweater and held it towards her throat before speaking. "Hello lovely, I'm sorry for the rough handling but if you are quiet and let me have a little fun then I promise I'll be real gentle."

"Mmmm!" Fuyumi tried to scream but quickly stopped when the knife pressed against her throat.

"Better, now how about we skip the greetings and get on with the performance." The man chuckled when suddenly his eyes flashed a deep crimson red.

"Mmm!" Fuyumi tried screaming again but soon felt her body lock up in place. 'What happened to my body!'

"Like my quirk? I call it Soul Eye. It has a few tricks such as seeing emotions, stunning someone in distress, and my personal favorite of seeing anyone completely naked, and I have to say you have a fine body." The man grinned as he started to grope her body.

Fuyumi was starting to panic, as she was now in a dangerous situation with someone willing to rape her and possibly worse with no one around to help her. 'I'm fucked, I should have just taken my normal route and now I'm defenseless and gonna be raped by a villain!'

"Just relax sweetheart and everything will be wonderful in just a moment." The villain smiled as he continued groping her. His other hand laid on her hips and started sliding down and Fuyumi was desperate to get away from this man.

'No! Stop! Leave me alone! I said stop! Please, I don't want this! Someone please help! I said stop!

LEAVE ME ALONE!'

Suddenly a wave of ice erupted from her body freezing her surroundings including the rapist as he was frozen in place with only his face free.

"Y-you bitch, what d-did you do?" The man asked as he was shivering from the intense cold temperatures.

"I *huff* told you to *huff* stop, now freeze for all I care." Fuyumi huffed as she started tumbling towards the ground.

'I'm so hot, .... and tired, I ... just need to sleep.' Fuyumi thought as she laid on the frozen floor with the villains calling out to her for help.

She heard one more voice but she didn't care as she was fast asleep from exhaustion.

"I'm here!"

Notes:

Who was there to help Fuyumi?

How can Fuyumi teach Izuku to be a hero?

Will Fuyumi be ok with from her quirk exhaustion?

Chapter Text

Waking up with a slight headache, Fuyumi groaned as she crawled out of bed. 'What happened last night.'

Opening her eyes she spotted that she wasn't in her room and in fact this wasn't even her home. 'Wait where am I?'

Looking around she spotted what seemed to be, a nice looking place that seemed normal. The only thing that stood out was curtains covering an area of the room. "How did I end up here?"

"I dropped you off here." A gruff voice spoke startling her towards a man walking through the curtains with a tray of food in his hands.

"Uh.. who are you?" Fuyumi asked nervously, eyeing the man who had a bandana wrapped around his head.

"The name's knuckle-duster, I am a vigilante that takes out the trash in the streets." The man grinned laying down the tray of food near her.

"You're…" suddenly she remembered the events that happened today, and gasped in horror at what she experienced.

"Take it you recovered your memories?" Knuckle-duster asked leaning against the wall.

"Yes and… thank you sir." Fuyumi thanked as she bowed towards the man.

"Appreciate it, and sorry for bringing you here but I thought I should take you towards this place quickly and warm you up. However it seems you needed to cool down instead?" The vigilante asked.

"Yes, my quirk Cryomancer makes ice at the cost of my cool body. Unlike most people I am partially cold blooded and overheat easily." Fuyumi explained enjoying the air conditioning.

"I see, anything wrong with your body or injuries I'm not aware of?" The man asked.

"No, I'm better sir." Fuyumi smiled sheepishly at her savior.

"Glad to hear it, eat up, rest and you should be clear to leave." The man stated ,about to leave her alone.

"Wait!" She called out quickly.

"Yes?" The man questioned.

"Why… Why did you rescue me? I know you're a vigilante but you could have just walked away once I froze the man." Fuyumi asked nervously in hopes the man spoke.

"It ain't right to leave someone alone to suffer. I just helped you because it was the right thing to do." The man stated, leaving her towards her thoughts.

'Just like Izuku, he wants to help people.' Fuyumi thought as she checked her phone. She could see he was starting to get worried and quickly sent a message

My little Student

#1hero: Fuyumi are you coming soon?

#1hero: started getting dinner ready.

#1hero: Are you ok? This seems really late for you.

#1hero: Fuyumi, are you ok? Just a quick text.

Icecream: Sorry Izuku got caught up with something important and the phone died. I'm skipping homeschooling today so enjoy your day off!

#1hero: Alright, glad to see you ok.

Icecream: I'm always ok!

She cringed at the thought of lying to him as no she was almost raped, but he was a kid and a worrier. He didn't need her baggage of problems to add on to his.

Eating to regain some of her energy, Fuyumi thought about the Vigilante that saved her. While most people would be scared out of their minds about hulking people like him, she trusted him as she guessed it was because he didn't have the enraged heat of endeavor and more of a caring man.

Thinking back to his goals it was admirable, and despite being a Vigilante that beats people up for justice, he was a helper.

She had a crazy idea forming in her head, but wanted to learn more about the vigilante before any commitments were made.

Staring at the icecream in sorrow, Izuku sighed as he grabbed the bowl he made for her and placed it in the freezer.

He waited hours for Fuyumi to show up, but she never came. Maybe it was because she finally realized how hopeless he was and didn't want to say it towards his face.

Was she actually busy or did she make an excuse to not see him today? Izuku hated his mind and the trust issues he developed throughout the years but old habits don't go away easily.

Either way, he felt lonely and didn't know what to do currently. Despite the fact that Fuyumi showed up shortly in his life she made a significant impact on him.

'I just wanted a friend.'

Notes:

Sorry for the short chapter, as most of these chapters will be short or long depending on what's going on as the main events won't start until a few years.

Chapter Text

Waiting what seemed like forever, the tall Vigilante finally came back, making Fuyumi sigh in relief that this was his hideout.

"You're still here?" The man asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Uh yes sir as I wanted to ask you something real quick." Fuyumi stuttered standing up and walking to him.

"And what would that be?" He asked, staring at her as he grabbed a beer from the fridge.

"May I ask why you wanted to be a Vigilante?" Fuyumi muttered out, looking away from the man.

"... people don't usually ask that unless they're cops and seeing as you don't have guts you're definitely not a cop, meaning you have something else in mind so I'll answer honestly." Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi's eyes widened because of his intelligence.

Soon enough both were seated at a table as Fuyumi stared at the man finishing his drink and slammed it down on the table giving her a harsh glare as he spoke. "I am searching for a few people, they are all dangerous and ruthless and will kill anyone in their way. So the reason I became a vigilante is to put a stop to them and make sure to do the dirty work that heroes tend to gloss over."

Fuyumi stared at the Vigilante with such conviction but had more questions as 'who were these people, what dirty work, and do heroes actually miss these things?' But she decided it wasn't her place to learn yet, but she needed to ask a few more questions. "Do you… do you think… anyone can be a hero?"

Knuckleduster stared at her, making Fuyumi squirm from his gaze as he sighed and spoke. "Kid anyone can become a hero, but not everyone can."

"Oh…" Fuyumi frowned as it was true that not everyone can be a hero. It still sucked to hear. 'So I won't ask this guy then.'

"But whether or not a person can be a hero is if they follow the goodness in their heart and help others, even when times are down." KnuckleDuster explained making Fuyumi's eyes widen as she stared at the man.

"Do you truly believe that?" Fuyumi asked.

"Yes, take it from this old man's experience with the world." He spoke staring at the window momentarily.

Fuyumi decided that she needed to ask, she needed this as no matter what happens, she would try her best. Just to see her student's dream come true. 'I need to ask him, for Izuku's dream!'

"Then Knuckle Duster, can you please train me?"

After what felt like a while, the man stared at her for what felt like eternity as he gave his answer. "...No."

"Huh but why?" Fuyumi asked, staring at the man in shocked bewilderment.

"I ain't got time to teach kids, and even then I am too busy to properly train you." The man huffed while taking another drink of his beer.

"Oh… sorry sir, guess I'll just go… sorry for wasting your time." Fuyumi apologized, feeling lost at another dead-end again.

Fuyumi bowed as she got up to leave the building when suddenly "MASTER I'M HOME, AND READY TO START TRAINING AGAIN!"

A small adult wearing an All-might hoodie came rushing in followed by a pink haired lady in a kind of revealing outfit making Fuyumi blush slightly.

However that blush soon turned to annoyance as she turned towards the man and said. "Too busy to teach and train kids sir?"

KnuckleDuster simply sighed as he drank the rest of his beer before saying. "I am too old for this shit, say hi to your training partners Crawler and Girl."

"MY NAME IS POP☆STEP OLD MAN!"

Chapter Text

*Beep, Beep, Be-SLAM!*

Slamming her hand down on the Alarm clock, Fuyumi groaned as she rolled out of bed and stared up at the ceiling contemplating life as she muttered. "Fucking hate that alarm clock."

After the events of yesterday, Fuyumi was mentally and physically exhausted as not only was she attacked by a villain and almost raped causing her quirk to go out of control, but she was almost certain that her new mentor and partners in training was going to be hard to work with. 'I hope I'm not making a mistake.'

Grabbing her clothes, Fuyumi headed to the shower to get dressed as she passed by Natsuo who stared at her for a second before snickering. "You look like shit, who pissed you off?"

"Just had a rough day out yesterday with some very perverted guy not taking no for an answer, but I'm fine as I had help." Fuyumi lied so as to not worry her brother much.

"Wow shit, sorry for bringing it up, you okay sis?" Natsuo asked with concern in his eyes.

"Yeah, no harm done, just left me in a bad mood really." Fuyumi explained heading past her brother who nodded in understanding as he spoke.

"Alright, just let me know if you need my help if you don't feel safe outside." Natsuo explained making Fuyumi smile.

"Alright, I'll consider it." Fuyumi said heading to the shower to start the day.

Heading towards the Midoriya apartment, Fuyumi knocked on the door waiting for Midoriya to open it up.

"Who is it?" Midoriya asked through the door, making Fuyumi smile at hearing her student's voice again.

"It's me Fuyumi!" She called out as Midoriya quickly opened the door staring at Fuyumi in shock.

Fuyumi was about to ruffle his hair when suddenly she saw his red puffy eyes making her worry as she knelt down and placed a hand on his cheek. "Izuku, why are you crying?"

"What? I'm not crying." Midoriya lied, wiping his tears as he looked away, making Fuyumi feel pain in her chest seeing him this way.

"You know you can tell me anything right?" Fuyumi asked softly, still stroking his cheek.

"... can it be later?" Midoriya asked hesitantly as he side eyed her with hope in his eyes.

Fuyumi smiled as she patted his fluffy head and said "It can definitely be later, I'm never going to force the answer out of you."

Izuku smiled softly as they both headed inside to start their day as he said. "There is still ice cream in the fridge if you want some?"

"I would love some ice-cream, and actually have some great news Midoriya." Fuyumi started making Midoriya stare at her in question as he slowly grabbed a full bowl of ice-cream.

"What news?" Midoriya asked, handing her the bowl.

"Well I have two news for us both as I'm going to start getting busy soon, as I have another student to teach on certain days so that's why I was busy yesterday." Fuyumi lied to the boy as she doubted it was wise to tell him she was going to start training under a vigilante.

"Oh… and the other news?" Midoriya asked hesitantly, looking away.

"The better news is that while I'm busy on those days I'm going to start setting you up a schedule so you can actually gain some strong muscles my little hero." Fuyumi explained taking a bite of her ice-cream enjoying the sweet flavor.

"Really?" Midoriya asked wide-eyed, staring at her in shock.

"Of course really, I said I would help you, and I'm not backing down on my words." Fuyumi stated boldly with a proud smile on her face.

After what felt like a good minute to let that sink In, Fuyumi expected Midoriya to be excited at the announcement of training. However what came out the boy's mouth, made her heart clench in pain as she heard a lost and confused voice from her student. "...why?"

"Why what?" Fuyumi asked worriedly for her kid as she lowered her bowl giving him her full attention.

"Why are you doing all this for me, why do you care for a quirkless Deku?" Izuku whined as tears started falling from his eyes, making Fuyumi instantly move.

Rapidly hugging him, Fuyumi patted his back as she rocked him back and forth soothing his fragile little soul as she spoke honestly. "It's because I want to protect you and make you feel safe Izuku, I want to see my little student grow up happy and have a loving heart that wants to help all the good people in this world."

Midoriya continued to cry as Fuyumi still hugged him patiently while silently thinking of threats to all the kids and teachers that hurt and broke her little student. 'I swear if I see anyone lay a finger on Izuku they are getting their dicks frozen.'

After what felt like a while with the house almost flooded, Midoriya stopped crying as he moved away from Fuyumi as he spoke up again. "Thanks Fuyumi, I'm better now."

"Oh Izuku you don't have to be better, you can break down all you need as I understand these spiraling days are painful." Fuyumi explained making Midoriya stare at her with more tears in his eyes.

"Are you sure?" Midoriya asked hesitantly.

"I'm sure, come on, let's move to the couch and you can cry all you want." Fuyumi offered, leading them both to the couch.

Midoriya was still hesitant, but a small tug from Fuyumi made him comply as she sat down on the couch and slowly laid Izuku's head on her lap stroking his hair as he hummed out. "There, we can stay like this all day if you want as I'm here to listen. Even if you just cry, I'm still never letting go as I'm always here to help you Izuku."

"But what about school?" Midoriya asked softly, staring up at her.

"Pretty sure school can wait as right now my little student's feelings are more important." Fuyumi chuckled softly as she kept stroking his hair.

"Thanks Fuyumi for everything." Izuku replied crying some more as she let him cry out all his pent up feelings.

After hours passed, Fuyumi smiled seeing Midoriya finally asleep as she had to admit her little student looked absolutely adorable.

Reaching out for her now melted ice-cream, Fuyumi smiled as she thought back on her days with Izuku. While yes some of it was terrible because of general depression, it was honestly what made her happy most seeing her little brother grow in what felt like the most important moments of his life.

Fuyumi's eyes widened as she thought to herself. 'Wait little brother, I can't think of him like that! I have Shoto and Natsuo.'

Shaking her head, Fuyumi looked at Izuku again, and smiled softly as he had an innocent smile on his face, making her poke his cheek instinctively. 'Heh he is adorable, honestly I would mind having Izuku as a little brother.'

Drinking her now melted ice-cream Fuyumi contemplated her life before and after meeting Izuku, as she sighed to herself thinking.

'Is this the Family life I always wanted?'

Notes:

Aww such a touching Moment.

Like Fuyumi training so she could train her student?

Like all the mental healing?

Is it wrong for Fuyumi to get attached to Midoriya as a sibling?

Chapter Text

It was a nice day out today, with clear skies and nice weather, anyone would have thought this was the perfect day for anything.

"AHH!"

Unless your name was Fuyumi then this day was hell seeing as she landed on her back again pretty certain she was forming a new bruise.

"You need to keep your body low and grounded, for it makes your attacks and dodges stable." Knuckleduster explained offering a hand to Fuyumi as she groaned, accepting his hand.

"I am trying, just a bit hard to get into a groove." Fuyumi sighed, stretching her body again as yes she was sporting a few bruises from the constant beat down today.

"You're not supposed to get into a groove as fights are sudden and random, especially with quirks involved. You need hands-on experience but we can't do that because you're a little twig that has never punched a man before." Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi pout as she didn't want to admit he was right.

Being locked away in a house for most of your life with little interaction from society does make her squishy as the only person she fought once in a blue moon was Natsuo. 'And it wasn't even real fights, just petty things like the TV remotes!'

Shaking Her head, Fuyumi had another thought on her mind as she asked. "What do you mean hands-on experience?"

"I am talking about going up to small time thugs and betting the crap out of them!" Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi's eyes widen in shock.

"I can't fight people! I just wanted regular training since you seem to have a few tips on how to handle quirk fights." Fuyumi explained making the man stare at her for a moment before sighing.

"Look I don't know how to teach let alone train a person properly, as all I can do for you Is give you hands-on experience and make sure you don't die and get in trouble with the authorities." The man explained making Fuyumi sigh as he did have a point and she did ask for this.

"Fine, so what do we do then?" Fuyumi asked worriedly for her small sanity of not becoming a full vigilante.

"Hmm Crawler!" Knuckleduster called out to his apprentice that was doing homework.

"Yes Master?" The Crawler asked excitedly, sliding towards them that Fuyumi had to admit was a bit unusual.

"Take the Ice girl out for a moment and show her the basics of spotting trouble and running around town easily. Don't let her engage anyone and be sure to wear a disguise." Knuckleduster explained packing his stuff up and leaving the building.

"Alright! And ready to go uhmmmm?" The Crawler stopped as he stared at her intensely making Fuyumi full self conscious as she backed away momentarily.

"Hey don't stare you dolt!" A familiar female voice called out smacking the Vigilante on the back of his head.

"Ah sorry it's just uh, we never got her name and she doesn't have a Vigilante name as well." The Crawler chuckled, making Fuyumi gasp as she forgot to introduce herself when they met.

"Oh I'm so sorry my name is Fuyumi, nice to meet you Crawler and Pop☆Step!" Fuyumi bowed, giving them a soft smile.

"Nice to meet you Fuyumi, my name is Koichi!" The Crawler, now named, introduced offering a handshake.

Fuyumi shook his hand and turned towards the girl for introductions but the Pink haired Vigilante glared at her as she turned away muttering. "Kazuho when I'm not in disguise."

Fuyumi felt off by the introduction, but still gave a little smile as she spoke. "Then glad to meet you too."

"And what about you Fuyumi?" Koichi asked, making Fuyumi stare at him confused.

"What about me?" Fuyumi asked.

"Well if you're gonna go out on patrol with us, you need a disguise and a new name as well!" Koichi explained, making Fuyumi panic as she started explaining.

"Wait patrol! No, I don't want to be a Vigilante! I just want to learn how to defend myself from quirks and threats!" Fuyumi explained getting understanding nods from the two Vigilantes.

"I see, honestly besides joining a quirk ring which is a no go since it's a tough competition for squishy people like us, I say doing patrols with us is a much safer option." Kazuho explained making Fuyumi see her point even though she didn't like the thought of fighting strangers.

"But I don't want to be a Vigilante and fight thugs." Fuyumi explained to her two allies.

"You don't have to, besides you're just scouting us and learning from us." Koichi explained placing gloves on his hands.

"He's right you don't need to do any fighting, however you are sticking with us so you need to still have a disguise and a different name as we will be seen by some people that know us very well." Kazuho explained making sense and the realization of why Knuckleduster left her to these two.

'They aren't just everyday Vigilantes, they are experienced and know what they are doing and how to help people.' Fuyumi thought as she smiled at them before speaking.

"Alright, then I am in your care"

On 2nd thought maybe she shouldn't have trusted her two companions advice as rushing around town in a plain black hoodie hoodie and sweatpants was definitely exhausting to get used to.

Not to mention her body temperature was constantly rising making her nearly faint every block they patrolled as she had to take breaks to cool herself down. "How the hell do you guys manage this all day?"

Sitting at a park, the three decide to take another break seeing as this Fuyumi was close to passing out again.

"Usually it's just that we had nearly a year of experience rushing around. Not to mention we are always on the run since if we get caught then our lives are done for." Koichi explained taking a sip of water from his barely touched bottle.

"No kidding and that's not mentioning that we have an easier time moving around thanks to us using our quirks constantly." Kazuho explained making Fuyumi sigh as she didn't have anything to raise her speed faster like her two allies.

"Fair, I just also hate that I'm wearing this stupid hoodie as I'm burning up inside thanks to my quirk!" Fuyumi groaned as her disguise was basically a hoodie, sweatpants, and a black medical mask.

"Wait, how does your quirk work?" Koichi asked, slightly interested.

"Basically I release the cold from my body making ice, but my drawback is I overheat constantly." Fuyumi explained making Kazuho Hiss as she understood.

"Yeah, exercising is kinda bad for you unless you raise your resistance to heat and even then this disguise is terrible for you since it's always warming you up." Kazuho explained making Fuyumi nod.

"Yeah, and I need the experience so I have to train and learn." Fuyumi explained making her two comrades look at each other as Koichi had an idea.

"Then why not wear less clothing and more make up like Pop?" Koichi asked, getting a shocked expression from both girls.

"Wait like me?" Kazuho panicked.

"I can't dress up like Pop☆Step, it's a little too… revealing for my taste." Fuyumi explained staring at Kazuho in a skin tight costume that showed off her stuff making Fuyumi blush further.

"Then don't dress up like Pop, but I will say think about this for a bit as you can't really do much of anything at this rate." Koichi explained as they all packed up their stuff heading back to Koichi's place as Fuyumi thought to herself.

'I need to think of something to cover all my problems, otherwise I'm not going to be strong enough to teach Izuku.' Fuyumi thought, taking a sip of her water.

Looking back at Crawler and Pop☆Step, easily making it through the concrete jungle, Fuyumi gave a determined stare as she thought to herself.

'I need to catch up to them!'

Chapter Text

It was another day at the Midoriya's apartment with Fuyumi and Izuku having another lesson together as both were on the ground a few feet from each other.

Ever since Izuku's spiral, he has been getting more comfortable being around her and smiling more often, which Fuyumi counted as a big success on her part.

Looking back at Izuku, Fuyumi smiled as he worked on another test. 'He is such a good student, maybe I should reward him with something later.'

Shelving that idea for later, she stared back at her phone browsing the web as she typed for any quirk users that dealt with overheating. All that came up was some different solutions for common fire quirks, or just saying install an air conditioner. 'Fuck the internet is useless for quirk problems!'

Groaning, Fuyumi accidentally caught Izuku's attention as he spoke up worriedly. "I-is there a p-problem with me Fuyumi?"

Fuyumi sighed, staring at the boy softly as she scooted over to ruffle his fluffy hair in hopes to soothe his worries as she spoke. "No problem with you Izuku, you're a very wonderful student."

That instantly brightened his sweet innocent smile as he spoke up. "Thank you, but why did you groan?"

"Sorry, I just have a problem with overheating." Fuyumi explained telling a truth to mask her trail of wanting to solve her quirk's drawback.

"Oh let me get the air conditioner on." Izuku panicked, rushing to get up and help her.

"Wait stop, it's not like that Izuku, it's just my quirk!" Fuyumi explained hurriedly before the boy could fully get up.

"Oh? What's wrong with your quirk?" Izuku asked as Fuyumi swore she could have seen a glint in Midoriya's eyes.

"It just overheats me in general." Fuyumi explained to the boy.

"Oh then what is your quirk and how does it overheat you?" Izuku asked more excitedly than before.

"Oh uh it is called Cryomancer, it makes ice at the cost of my cool body, as unlike other people who are warm blooded, I'm partially cold blooded. I do enjoy the heat greatly, but my body says otherwise since I can overheat and faint if exposed for too long." Fuyumi explained off the top of her head as she looked back at Izuku to find him scribbling down in a notebook muttering to himself. 'Where did he get that?'

"Cryomancer is an amazing ability to have and is so versatile as well, but I have many questions as, can you control the shape of the ice? How much ice can you produce? Will it be possible to control the ice itself? What about the durability of the ice produced? And as for the overheating that is great for cold environments such as snow weather and water adventures! Can she survive any type of cold environment? Is there a limit to how long she can produce ice, seeing as if she lived in Antarctica she could basically walk around fine just spreading ice around every minute. Ooh what abo-" Fuyumi could only smile seeing Midoriya so excited about her quirk as she could probably understand why he was so fascinated with others powers, seeing as he himself didn't have one to admire constantly.

Deciding they wasted enough time and that Midoriya wasn't stopping soon, Fuyumi produced a small snowball and flicked it to Midoriya's forehead startling him back to reality making Fuyumi giggle. "Welcome back Izuku, are you having fun fascinating about my quirk?"

Izuku could only chuckle nervously as he apologized. "Sorry Fuyumi, I just really like quirks and can't help but wonder about them and tend to mutter while doing so."

"Don't be, it's something you like and I have no problem with you talking about my quirk as it's all good questions that I would gladly answer."  Fuyumi explained making Izuku's eyes go wide as no one has ever been so understanding to him about his hobby.

"Thanks, it means a lot." Izuku muttered out, looking away in embarrassment.

"Awe anytime Izuku as I'm happy to support my little hero." Fuyumi cooed ruffling Izuku's hair again.

"Thanks Fuyumi, you're the best." Izuku smiled out, staring at her with a genuine expression.

"As for that last one I actually can walk around in summer clothes during the snowy winters, it's actually the best time for me to be actually active with my quirk some more." Fuyumi explained making Midoriya's eyes widen again.

"Wait, you could understand me?!" Midoriya asked.

"Of course I can, can't everyone?" Fuyumi asked, looking at Midoriya with confusion on her face.

"Not one person has ever understood me when I muttered!" Izuku explained with awe on his face, staring at her like she was a Saint.

"Weird it seems easy." Fuyumi shrugged not knowing herself why she was unique.

"Still it helps that you understand me, also may I ask another question that may seem to help you with your problem?" Midoriya asked hesitantly, now looking away.

"Of course, anything for my little student." Fuyumi smiled as Midoriya rarely asked questions.

"Since you can make snow, uh… can you make mist?" Izuku asked nervously.

"Mist? Yeah I can make it with enough concentration so why?" Fuyumi asked again with confusion on her face.

"Yeah it's basically just a smoke of snow and ice right? If you can concentrate it around yourself it should cool you down as you build up resistance to heat." Izuku explained making Fuyumi stare at her student in shock since apparently he was a godsend.

"Izuku you are a genius! I swear If I could I would throw you into U.A right now!" Fuyumi smiled as she abruptly stood up and walked away from Izuku to stand in the middle of the living room.

"What are you doing?" Izuku asked with some confusion on his face.

"Concentrating." Fuyumi muttered softly with closed eyes as she pictured the air around her began to freeze. She felt her inner body heat up subtly but was soon dulled out since her outer body was beginning to cool her back down thanks to the cold air surrounding her.

"Wow amazing!" She heard Izuku whisper out, making her slowly open her eyes to find that there was indeed a mist shrouding the entire living room.

Luckily since Izuku was close, she could see him relatively fine, but the objects farther away could not be seen by her, making Fuyumi smile at another aspect of her quirk she could put to use. 'I have a smokescreen, and a way to cool myself down quicker now! I really need to reward my little bro.'

Eyes wide again Fuyumi stared at Midoriya in panic but breathed a sigh of relief seeing him look around the room. Shaking Her thoughts she dropped her quirk to let the mist disappear as Fuyumi plastered a fake smile for Izuku. 'Stop it Fuyumi I am not replacing my family with Izuku!'

"So what do you think Izuku?" Fuyumi asked, hoping to distract herself.

"That was amazing Fuyumi, it was like I was lost in the snow as it was getting colder by the second!" Izuku explained making Fuyumi chuckle at his enthusiasm.

"Glad you liked it, and thank you my little hero as now I have something to practice now." Fuyumi smiled as she patted Izuku's hair, making her student smile at her even more.

"Happy to help you Fuyumi!"

"... I never wanted this job." A grown man huffed as he was seated across the Principal of U.A that was staring up at him with a wagging tail. 'Nedzu hasn't aged a day, splendid that he will still be around in my life.'

"Then why did you come in for the job interview today if you didn't want the job Aizawa?" Nedzu chirped, taking a sip of his tea that he was still weirdly obsessed with.

"Do I be rude and Ignore you then?" Shota questioned knowing full well you don't ghost Nedzu.

"Of course not, as that would be suicidal won't you agree?" Nedzu asked with a sadistic glint in his eyes that unnerved Shota.

"Obviously, so what did Nemiru tell you exactly?" Shota asked looking at the rat for some truthful clarification.

"Oh plenty of things! Where should I start?" Nedzu cackled as Aizawa groaned.

"Please make this quick, I have a patrol later in Naruhata!" Shota pleaded as Nedzu slid him a paper.

"Oh sure, just sign this as I explain it to you." Nedzu smiled as Aizawa took the paper and signed everything as Nedzu was talking about all the erotic things his friend said the the principal.

'I swear I'm gonna kill Nem later for the worst interview ever!' Shota sighed as he signed the last place confirming his signature to be a part of the staff.

"Welcome to U.A … Mr.aizawa~☆" Nedzu grinned making Shota freeze as he stared at the paper he was holding stating he was now a teacher.

"...Fuck!"

Chapter Text

Running through town again, Fuyumi huffed as she pushed herself across the concrete jungle, only taking breaks to cool down quicker with her mist shroud.

"Have to say I enjoy this new move of yours." Koichi sighed relaxing on a roof enjoying the mist.

"Same, it's nice to have a living air conditioner." Kazuho sighed, relaxing for a moment, letting the air hit her skin.

"Glad to see you are both enjoying my suffering." Fuyumi groaned, collapsing on the floor releasing mist slowly.

"Heh sorry, but I have to say you're quite dedicated so just give it a few weeks or a month and you'll start seeing results of lasting longer and having a better handle on mist output." Koichi explained making Fuyumi understand as she was barely starting out on a regime.

"Still sucks but I won't rush." Fuyumi sighed, pulling up her hoodie a bit to let cool air hit her.

"Hey, I have a question?" Kazuho asked.

"Go for it." Fuyumi suggested finally cooling down a bit.

"Why do you wear a hoodie when patrolling with us even though we discussed hoodies and pants are very much a bad idea for you?" Kazuho asked since Fuyumi was still overheating thanks to the hoodie.

"Remember I need to mask my identity since my hair is plainly obvious, and even then pants and a hoodie is a bit more protection than nothing." Fuyumi explained as Pop☆Step understood as she thought for a moment before speaking.

"My disguise isn't perfect, but I mask myself pretty well with makeup and change my personality a bit from my casual appearance. As for the hair, well pink is a bit uncommon but still can blend well with the masses." Kazuho explained her design choice as she didn't really care about protection much.

"And as for me well I agree a hoodie and pants is the best, but luckily my master gave me knee and arm paddings and biker gloves to protect myself easier, it's not resistant to much but it's a bit more protection from blunt hits." Koichi explained showing off his gloves that had a little damage on them but were still relatively fine.

"I see so I need something that can disguise me pretty well, and protect my body, honestly the main part is my hair since it's a huge cover blown but I don't want to dye it." Fuyumi sighed, scratching the back of her head trying to think of a solution.

"Then why not wear a bandana like master?" Koichi asked innocently.

"I could but I have longer hair so strands would always pop out." Fuyumi sighed, staring at a blank wall hoping to find the answer in it.

"Well I know you'll find out soon, these last couple of days have been pretty silent in terms of crime so you're not missing out on much." Koichi shrugged as Kazuho threw a soda can at him.

"She didn't want to fight villains, remember idiot!" Kazuho hissed out at her partner.

"Right, sorry!" Koichi apologized.

"It's fine, so when is Knuckleduster getting back?" Fuyumi asked, trying to find out when she had training again.

"Soon, but he usually just comes and goes." Koichi shrugged, making Fuyumi groan that her beat down can come at any moment.

"Chances of living my next encounter?" Fuyumi asked her two allies.

"100%!" Koichi grinned.

"0%.." Kazuho winced out.

Both allies turned to each other and nodded, turning to Fuyumi again before giving their final answer. "50%..."

Fuyumi laid down and groaned at the sky, muttering to herself.

"Fuck me!"

Laying down in the Common room grading Izuku's test papers, Fuyumi smiled at the progress her little student has made so far.

"At this rate he might as well graduate high-school once he applies to U.A." Fuyumi giggled to herself seeing how intelligent her little student was.

Packing up the test paper, Fuyumi made her way back to Izuku's room, opening it to find Izuku on the computer scribbling down in his notebook.

"Hey Izuku, what are you doing? I thought you wanted a break from school work?" Fuyumi asked softly, making her way to his side.

"I am Fuyumi, I'm just uh…" Izuku was at a loss for words, looking away in embarrassment. 'Ah it's a secret."

"You don't have to tell me, and I won't get mad at you for wanting to keep secrets." Fuyumi explained with a soft and sincere smile towards her little prodigy.

"Thanks and I guess I could show you." Izuku muttered out softly, making Fuyumi smile at him opening up to her.

"If you say so, just know you can stop at any moment." Fuyumi explained, patting his soft hair. 'How does it get so fluffy!'

"Alright, and I was… writing down heroes in my notebook. I usually write down anything that interests me or catches my attention, so in my spare time I analyze." Izuku muttered while showing her his notebook.

Opening up, Fuyumi was surprised by the first page as she read the entry. [Entry# 173 Eraserhead]

(Basic summary: Eraserhead is a underground hero with a Erasure type quirk that works best with direct eyesight)

Reading through it Fuyumi was surprised at how detailed his analysis was detailing quirk, fighting styles, support items, strengths, weaknesses, and basic costume with a not half bad illustration given that you can rarely see the man.

"Honestly this is amazing, and a good skill to have in many fields, even for average jobs like teaching." Fuyumi explained making izuku smile at her praise.

"You really think so?" Izuku asked nervously, staring at her with hope in his eyes.

"Of course, maybe we can work on this together as I am not as skilled as this but I can give many tips and probably recommend some classes to help us with this." Fuyumi explained making Izuku produce a radiant smile blinding her a bit. 'He is too adorable!'

Flipping through many of the pages, Fuyumi's eyes widened seeing another entry page that shocked her and warmed her heart.

[Entry# 999  Sis  Fuyumi]

Notes:

Awe izuku wrote an entry of Fuyumi! Anyway questions!

What should Fuyumi's disguise be?

Like Fuyumi supporting and encouraging Izuku's hobbies?

*innocent evil grin*
How would Fuyumi react when she sees Entry #174?

Chapter Text

*CRASH*

"Ahh!" Fuyumi yelped, getting startled as she was making dinner for her dad.

Looking down the hall, Fuyumi could see her father storming out the door heading towards her. "Fuyumi!"

"Yes dad?" Fuyumi muttered out in slight fear.

"I got an emergency call from my agency, save me a plate for later and make sure to feed shoto only 2 servings and no more! He needs to recharge since I cut training a bit." Enji huffed, going towards the fridge and yanking out a pre-made sandwich as he started heading out.

"Yes sir! And what should he eat?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"Don't care what you feed him for today, just no junk food! Can't believe I'm getting called during his training." Enji growled out, slamming the door behind him.

"... bye…" Fuyumi frowned as she stopped cooking momentarily letting the water boil as she made her way towards the training room.

Opening it up, Fuyumi frowned seeing her brother lying on the breathing heavily as all around him laid scorch marks.

"Fire day?" Fuyumi called out softly to not startle him.

"And ice." Shoto groaned as he limped to get up preparing to train more.

"Shoto, what are you doing?" Fuyumi asked, rushing to stop him.

"You know how he gets, if I don't use my ice then he'll know based on the temperature meter throughout the day." Shoto groaned as he pointed at some of the high tech monitors. 'Right the temperature monitor that says how cold or hot it is, it alerts dad if it ever reaches room temperature.'

"Hmm, then practice with your ice for a bit as I cook dinner. Then I'll come back and train with my ice as you eat and rest up." Fuyumi explained making shoto go wide eyed staring at her.

"Are you insane, if he finds out who knows what he'll do to you!" Shoto panicked looking around towards the monitor.

"Don't worry, remember I just want to help you." Fuyumi smiled, patting her brother's head.

"Thanks sis, glad to have you looking after me." Shoto sighed in relief standing up properly.

"Of course, that's what family is for!" Fuyumi smiled towards her brother.

"... this isn't a family." Shoto spoke, brushing her aside to train for a moment before it alerted her dad.

"... I'll be back." Fuyumi sighed, heading towards the kitchen to finish making food.

Making soba, Fuyumi frowned, letting small tears form as she cried at how much her family had fallen apart.

'Why, why can't I do anything to help fix this! I hate this, I hate trying my best to only fail at wasting my time!' Fuyumi thought, crying until dinner was ready.

'I just want a loving family..'

Walking towards Naruhata, Fuyumi sighed in relief as she got ready to go out on patrol again. 'This is actually fun sometimes.'

If anyone asked her what her three favorite activities were then the first two were obviously cooking and teaching with Izuku, and watching her soap operas.

However the third thing she liked best was going out on patrol and running off pent up emotions such as sadness and rage.

Walking towards Koichi's home, Fuyumi smiled at the opportunity to let off some more steam again. 'Almost there, then I can change Into my hoodie and jogging pants.'

Looking down at her small duffle bag, she was glad her family didn't question why she had it as they all assumed it was more teaching supplies, but luckily Fuyumi had a second identical bag as one was for teaching and the one she was currently carrying was for training.

*Crash*

About to enter the city, a loud crash immediately caught Fuyumi's attention.

Looking towards the noise, Fuyumi saw it lead towards an alleyway making her worry since her last experience crossing an alley gave her unnerving dread. 'What if someone is in danger like me?'

Steeling herself, Fuyumi grabbed her phone from her short blue skirt and headed inside, pulling up Knuckleduster's phone number in case.

Treading closer, Fuyumi gasped as she saw a drunken man pinning a woman against the wall as he threatened her with a knife against her throat.

"Just relax and don't scream for help, and trust me that this will be all over soon." The drunken bastard whispered as the frightened lady tried to squirm away but his physic was above average.

'Shit, better text Knuckle Duster for help!' Fuyumi panicked, sending a text towards the man.

My Trainer

Trainee: HELP A MAN IS ABOUT TO RAPE AND STAB A WOMAN!

Teach: Shit stay put and let me track you, if things get dicey please stall for time!

Taking a deep breath, Fuyumi gave her location as she turned back at the man, slicing down her shirt and groping her. 'Shit, I can't sit and do nothing, I have to help them!'

Suddenly without thinking, Fuyumi's body moved on its own as she formed an ice staff and slammed it against the rapist's head.

"AUGH!" The guy screamed in pain as he withered around making Fuyumi think again for the situation she put herself in. 'Fuck I just hit a guy!'

Shaking Her head, Fuyumi turned towards the distressed woman and ordered out. "Go before he recovers!"

"Thank you" The woman cried running away from the scene.

Now focusing on the rapist, Fuyumi had to think fast before he could see her hair and face. 'Shit, I really am stupid!'

Fuyumi concentrated as she produced ice around her hair making a helm as she kept the face mask on to hide her mouth and nose.

Luckily she was just in time as the rapist glared at her before growling out. "Who the fuck are you supposed to be?"

Fuyumi glared at the man before speaking. "Just a maiden who saw another lady in trouble, now drop your weapon."

"Fuck off and die!" The man roared out as his eyes flashed a bright light as he charged at her. 'Shit I'm blind!'

Thinking quickly before he had a chance to stab her, Fuyumi crouched down and brought her arm forward producing an ice shield to protect. 'Please work!'

*klink*

Feeling something hit her ice shield, Fuyumi smiled as she swung her staff forward in hopes to hit the man as she struck something.

"Aaugh you bitch!" The man hissed out, as Fuyumi could now open her eyes a bit and saw the man cower back in pain.

"Surrender, now final warning." Fuyumi warned getting into a fighting stance with her shield and staff ready.

"Grr no I'm not going back to jail!" The man roared, flashing his eyes again but Fuyumi was ready as she brought her shield up blocking the light.

Lowering it, Fuyumi gasped as the villain rushed forward and lunged towards her. 'Crap!'

Acting instinctively Fuyumi lunged forward and shield bashed the knife away disarming the rapist. 'Now he is disarmed!'

The villain raised his fist up in fear in hopes that his fighting would help, but Fuyumi pointed the staff at him and produced a bit more ice, sharpening the end of it. "Surrender now or face my spear!"

'Please work, I don't want to stab someone!' Fuyumi internally panicked as she didn't think she would last that long.

"Okay I give u-" Suddenly a giant boot slammed towards the rapist face effectively knocking him out.

"Master!" Fuyumi yelped out in surprise and joy.

"Glad to see you got it handled lady, but you were sloppy." Knuckleduster huffed, grabbing some wire and started to tie up the rapist.

"Sorry." Fuyumi apologized feeling upset about this turn of events. While she was glad her last second plans worked, all of it was based on luck meaning she could have put herself and the woman in more danger.

"Don't be, you saw someone in trouble and acted on instinct. While that is reckless it really shows you have guts to be a hero for the helpless. Not to mention you had a good head on your shoulder adapting to situations." Knuckleduster praised as he finished tying up the man putting him against the wall.

"Really?" Fuyumi asked, feeling assured.

"Yes, now before the police arrive mist us! We have a lot of training to cover." Knuckleduster ordered as Fuyumi nodded, producing the mist as they both escaped to the roofs.

Fuyumi couldn't help but smile as she saved someone as she genuinely felt useful at her actions today.

'Maybe being a vigilante isn't so bad.'

Arriving to a distress call, Officer Sansa made it to an alleyway as he found a young woman standing outside in a panic. Leaving his partner to check the woman, he grabbed his flashlight and checked inside to find traces of a scuffle with a rapist and a hero.

Except he could only find a tied up Rapist and no traces of a hero in sight. 'What happened then?'

Pointing the flashlight at the man, the man winced as he growled out. "Where is she?"

"Who?" Sansa asked.

"That ice hero! Where is she!" The man roared out shaking in his binds.

"I uh don't know who you're talking about?" Sansa responded unsure of what he was talking about trying to remember any female ice heroes.

"I want to kill her, where is the cold maiden!" The man roared out.

Sighing, Sansa knew he had to report the incident, but smiled as this cold Maiden helped out anyway.

'Seems like my work may pile up soon.'

Notes:

Fuyumi is now an official vigilante!

How do you feel about Fuyumi's family mentality?

Chapter Text

It was a bright day at the city of Naruhata, as on the rooftop at Koichi's place there stood the three Vigilantes waiting for their new colleague to join them for training.

"Ready for the big reveal?" Asked a very familiar woman that has managed to warm her way into all the Vigilantes hearts.

"Yes I'm so excited to see what you look like!" Koichi cheered out impatiently.

"Same here, I'm actually interested." Kazuho smiled as she was sitting on top of Koichi's building.

"Hurry up, we don't have all day." Knuckleduster huffed, tapping his foot impatiently.

"Oh don't be like that master, you are just as excited!" Koichi grinned as he proved right by the small smirk on his face.

"Alright coming out now!" The woman called out as she opened the door to reveal her official vigilante outfit.

"Wow you look so good!" Koichi cheered out.

"Surprisingly you pulled it off great!" Kazuho smiled, staring at the girl with a proud smirk.

Standing in front of the door was none other than Fuyumi Todoroki, now in her Vigilante out!

Fuyumi was wearing both dark gray undersports wear, one regular muscle shirt top and bottom leggings usually used in soccer. Above them she also wore Black soccer sports shorts, and a white with a literal side of blue loose long sleeved crop top hoodie that exposed her midriff so the mist could hit her under sports wear.

To top it off, she also wore many MMA protection gear, such as knee and elbow pads with a pair of open handed gloves to match and freely use her quirk. Underneath her crop top hoodie was a cute gray beanie to keep her hair in place if her hood managed to fail her. On her face was a pair of Red snow goggles for blocking mist for foggy stealth getaways and her trauma from sudden flash quirks, with a white face mask to hide her mouth and nose. Hanging on her back was her trusty duffle bag, to store her clothes and some items for her patrols.

She literally was the definition of cool with a constant breezy mist following her around to cool her down when she eventually went on patrol.

"Thank you so much!" Fuyumi thanked with a cute jump in her step.

"Thought of a vigilante name?" Koichi asked.

"Not yet, and what about your thoughts master?" Fuyumi asked, worriedly scratching her mask as it was hard to express herself.

"... it passes, glad to see you're taking to heart everything you've learned so far and adapting." Knuckleduster praised flashing her a bright grin as he patted her head making the girl feel genuine praise.

"Thank you so much, I wouldn't have thought of this without you all helping me! Luckily I had some loose sports clothes since I used to be a fan of playing soccer but grew out of that phase of collecting, but I'm just glad some of my stuff still fits!" Fuyumi muttered out in excitement, making Knuckleduster blink at the high energy of his pupil.

"Do you understand what she just said?" Koichi asked his friend who hopped down from the building.

"No clue." Kazuho shrugged.

"Sorry, got too into it." Fuyumi chuckled weakly, controlling her emotions.

"Don't be, glad to see you're pumped for training, now before we begin I want to explain your fight against that rapist." Knuckleduster spoke, making Fuyumi tense at the sudden confrontation as she nodded slowly.

"What about it?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"While you aren't ready nor do I think you will ever match this, brawling ain't your style." Knuckleduster started off shocking Fuyumi.

"But I won that fight?" Fuyumi muttered out.

"That wasn't brawling, you didn't punch your way to victory, you strategized and adapted." Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi's brain stall at his words.

"So what does that mean?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"It means your fighting style will differ based on the situation, meaning you should focus on everything at a constantly changing pace." Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi stare at him in confusion.

"Explain." Fuyumi asked.

"You have an amazing quirk fit for adaptability, but since there is so much you could do we are just going to start with the three basics I have decided for you." Knuckleduster spoke, lifting three fingers in front of her.

"And what are they?" Fuyumi asked, really interested for her potential.

"Let's start with the one you displayed in your first fight, I'm naming it Halberdier style!" Knuckleduster explained dropping one finger.

"Halberdier style?" Fuyumi asked in confusion.

"Yes, you basically make a spear and shield and fight with it. It mainly focuses on defense and drawn out fights, but is also an excellent offense as you can counter attack!" Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi's eyes widen at how he basically deduced her last fight to a specific style.

"I see, so what should I work on?" Fuyumi asked, determined to make sure she improved her style.

"Basically how to act on instinct and some training with me on that style, and it helps that you can produce ice armor to cover yourself for more protection as well as cool yourself down the fastest. However as much as that armor is helpful, it is a big detriment as it hinders moment and speed, meaning fast fuckers like Koichi can outrun you, or worse tire you out and finish you." Knuckleduster explained seriously, making Fuyumi gulp at how a simple boost in defense can cause her so many problems.

"Yeah me and pop can run away from most villains relatively fine since we tend to stick with the big guys that are easy to outrun and trip up." Koichi explained by backing up master's statement.

'Better use ice armor for emergencies then.' Fuyumi thought as she spoke up. "And the second style?"

"The second style should be your main style, as I call it Rouge style!" Knuckleduster grinned, bringing down his second finger.

"Rouge style?" Fuyumi asked, confused.

"Basically you are to learn how to practice with quick and decisive movements for takedowns. It is really simple, produce two small ice sticks." Knuckleduster ordered as Fuyumi nodded, producing her ice sticks.

"Why do I need ice sticks?" Fuyumi asked, unsure of what he was getting at.

"These ice sticks would be your greatest ally, as I saw you produce more ice on your staff to make a spear. With that in mind, these ice sticks are basically your batons to knock enemies out until you need to transform them into something else. Take for example you need to cut a rope, so you shape your sticks to be ice knives, or that you need to scale a wall, so you shape them into climbing picks." He explained making Fuyumi have more sense of why he basically named it Rouge.

"So this is for me to use on a daily basis for tasks, and open my world for quicker and broader travel." Fuyumi explained making her master smile at her for understanding so quickly.

"Exactly, and it only requires a small amount of your ice so you don't really overheat at all! However it lacks defensive measures so you're mainly going to focus on dodging like a circus monkey." Knuckleduster explained as Fuyumi could understand as she definitely wouldn't have survived the rapist's knife in this style if she tried to act defensive.

"Yep, and you can keep up with us since you're not restricting yourself." Kazuho explained hoping next to her with her quirk.

"Alright I understand well, and the third style?" Fuyumi asked, interested in her final style so she could practice soon.

"This final style is very tough but is something you need to practice with the most care as a mishap can lead to your doom, or your opponents. Understand?" Knuckleduster explained, glaring at her making her freeze her excitement.

"Yes sensei!" Fuyumi nodded tensely.

"I'm serious young lady, do you truly understand?" Knuckleduster explained towering over her with a deadly aura.

"Yes sir!" Fuyumi nodded, now quaking in her ingenium sneakers that Koichi gave to her as a gift.

"Good, the third style is called Mage style, now produce a staff!" He ordered as Fuyumi did so quickly.

"Alright may I ask why?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"Mage style is your ranged attacks, you will send many surges of ice towards the villains in hopes to attack or capture them. However as you know from experience how drained and overheated you become once you use so much ice." Knuckleduster explained as Fuyumi thought back to how she was almost raped and the after effects of her releasing that much ice against him.

"I see what you mean by danger to myself sir, but why the staff if I may ask?" Fuyumi asked worriedly at the man.

"It is basically your last line of defense essentially being your lifeline, as once you burn out all the ice you can make you're now defenseless. It would hopefully protect you if plans fail, but also cool you down slowly since you can't make any more mists to cool yourself." Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi nod and appreciate how much her master was looking out for her safety first before everything else.

"Thank you Master, I understand your great planning to ensure my safety first by telling me all the downsides to these styles." Fuyumi bowed as she genuinely felt glad to have Knuckleduster as her teacher.

"Of course, I won't have you dying out in this harsh world, otherwise I would have never taken you all under my tutelage, as that would make me the worst teacher in the world to neglect your safety." Knuckleduster explained with a soft smile as he patted her head making Fuyumi smile and cry behind her mask at such sincere words

'I hope to do the same when I eventually start teaching Izuku, as I want to be the best teacher that makes him feel safe as I prepare him to be ready for the world of heroes.' Fuyumi thought fondly as she imagined herself training with her brother as she eventually let's him run off to U.A.

'I would love to see that future come true.' Fuyumi thought as she looked up at the muscular man with blazing determination as she asked. "When do we start!"

Knuckleduster grinned devilishly as he spoke up again. "Now! Activate Halberdier style, I want to beat the crap out of you!"

"WEREN'T YOU JUST SAYING YOU WERE LOOKING OUT FOR MY SAFETY FIRST!"

Running around the concrete jungle, Fuyumi smiled as she scaled an alleyway with her ice climbing pics easily closing in behind The Crawler and Pop☆Step.

Jumping up to the roof, Fuyumi smiled at her two new friends, yes her friends, waiting for her as they stood above the streets admiring the pleasant busy crowd.

"Crawler?" Fuyumi called out.

"Finally someone gets it right! So what is it my friend?" Koichi asked with a pleasant smile on his face.

"I think I figured out my Vigilante name." Fuyumi informed, surprising her two allies.

"Really what is it?" Kazuho asked, smiling at her.

"Yeah tell us please!!!" Koichi begged, making her giggle at his enthusiasm.

"Alright here it goes!" Fuyumi smiled as both of her friends instantly knew this was the name for her.

"I'm Aurora, The Cold Maiden Vigilante!"

Chapter Text

Sitting in the living room both Fuyumi and Izuku were both watching movies after a long day of studying with both mentally exhausted.

"I don't know about you but I genuinely like some of the stuff back in the prequirk Era like this movie, it's all interesting and not focused on quirks like today's world entertainment." Midoriya sighed out happily as he watched an old Disney film about souls.

"I have to agree, it's genuine and touches on topics that can relate to nearly everyone. It's a nice change of pace from my usual soap operas from time to time." Fuyumi smiled as she watched the film with great views on how a mentor is to a student and that they can impact their lives drastically.

"If you want to watch soap operas next time that's fine, mom actually has a few pre-quirk era ones stored in a chest somewhere that you can't find today." Izuku replied softly, making Fuyumi's eyes widen as she grinned maddeningly.

"You just know how to make a girl happy~" Fuyumi giggled out.

"What do you mean?" Izuku asked innocently.

"Oh nothing to worry about, just keep being the good boy you are when you eventually meet someone." Fuyumi chuckled as Izuku stared at her in confusion.

"Alright?" Izuku muttered out lost.

"Actually Izuku I've been meaning to ask but what do you do when I'm not hom- Here!" Fuyumi yelped out quickly as she cursed herself for thinking this was her home. 'Why do I keep wanting this!'

"Oh uh, really nothing, just study and watch videos to analyze that's about it, if I'm stuck then I play video games, listen to songs, or watch movies." Izuku muttered out as Fuyumi stared at him in disbelief.

"Do you seriously do more work and stay inside when I'm not here?" Fuyumi asked, flabbergasted by the sudden knowledge of her little student.

"Uh yeah?" Midoriya replied hesitantly.

"... Outside now!" Fuyumi ordered with a stern glare.

"What? Why!" Midoriya asked, shocked by the sudden order.

"We are getting some fresh air today by going on a small walk, and on days that I'm not here I want you to at least try and go out to make some friends or do something fun." Fuyumi explained as she put on her shoes.

"But I am fine just staying here with you Fuyumi, and I have lots of fun here too when you're here." Izuku replied nervously towards her.

"You're too sweet sometimes Izuku, and while I do appreciate you wanting to hang out with me I still want you to have a life outside of me." Fuyumi explained as she patted Izuku's hair giving him a loving smile.

"Please do this for your big sis okay?"

After what felt like a sudden pin drop that could be heard throughout all of japan, Fuyumi's face turned instantly red at what she just said with Izuku's face doing the same. 'WHY THE FUCK DID I SAY THAT!'

"... Okay…" Izuku muttered out as he turned to walk away towards his room to get dressed with a small smile on his face.

Fuyumi herself just walked towards the couch and collapsed on it groaning into the pillow for her sudden blunder. "Whyyyyy!"

After a bit of time, Izuku came back wearing A T-shirt that said T-shirt that made Fuyumi giggle at his small sense of humor. "Ready to go?"

"Of course, and sorry for earlier." Fuyumi nervously chuckled, heading towards the door.

"Don't be,... big sis?" Izuku muttered out with a devilish smirk on his face.

"Nooo the betrayal!" Fuyumi whined with a hand on her face.

"Thanks for the ammo." Izuku smirked with a happy smile on his face.

"After all I did for you, this is how you backstab me!" Fuyumi laughed as they both headed out to have a fun day.

Arriving towards Koichi's place, Fuyumi smiled, spotting a familiar figure walking into an alleyway, making her swell with joy.

"Master!" Fuyumi called out as she rushed in after him.

"Hm? Oh it's you." Knuckleduster sighed as he continued walking.

"Yeah of course it's me, but since you're out are you starting patrol early?" Fuyumi asked excitedly towards her master.

"Yeah, I am too busy and need to hurry up with my work." Knuckleduster explained climbing a fire escape.

"Oh, so are the others helping you?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"Nah, don't want to ruin their fun as apparently they have a concert to do today so I am just gonna be by myself." Knuckleduster shrugged as Fuyumi's eyes widened at the news.

"They have a concert today?" Fuyumi asked as the sudden news.

"Yeah the girl does her own side idol show and some people scouted her potential, and Koichi is gonna help her today as they will be busy with people that know them." Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi nod in understanding.

"So do I avoid them to keep my secret identity?" Fuyumi asked nervously.

"Not really as they are good people, but if you're unsure then stay away from them for the week." Her master shrugged hopping onto the roof and taking out binoculars to scout around.

"Alright then I guess I'll stay with yo-"

"Gotcha!" Knuckleduster muttered out with a proud smile on his face.

"What?" Fuyumi asked in confusion.

"Glad to see you're in high spirits." Knuckleduster huffed with a grin as he stared down at the streets.

Following his gaze, Fuyumi stared down into the busy streets and spotted a Lone female with a white eye-patch walking away.

"Who is she?" Fuyumi asked softly.

"Tomoa Ogura… my daughter." Knuckleduster huffed sadly as he started walking away.

"Wait really? Fuyumi asked, bewildered by the sudden news.

"Yeah she ain't herself, and is taken over by a villain causing so much chaos in the city." Knuckleduster explained climbing down.

Fuyumi's eyes widened at the terrible news as she started planningon how to help. "Wait really, then we have to sto-"

"NO!"

Freezing up, Fuyumi stepped back in shock as she put her hands to her side, shaking away the sudden image of her dad before speaking. "May I ask why not?"

"Look it's not that I don't trust you to help, it's that this villain is dangerous and is willing to kill my daughter if put into a tight corner, so I'm stuck in a delicate operation of life and death by the slightest miscalculation unless you can find a way to exterminate a bee." Knuckleduster explained making Fuyumi's eyes widened at the scenario he is in.

"Then why not get a hero?" Fuyumi asked worriedly, as she was willing to risk her identity to her father if it meant helping someone close to her.

"Not gonna work as someone else is behind the scenes is far more dangerous and is not to be messed with." Knuckleduster sighed, making Fuyumi stare at the man as he was dead serious about this.

"Then can I help?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"... No, this is way above your league and this is a delicate matter, I don't want you, Kazuo, Koichi to die in what is essentially my family matters." He explained as he gave her a stern glare. Fuyumi's eyes widened as he barely said their names straight ever besides Koichi meaning this wasn't all fun anymore.

"Then what do I do?" Fuyumi asked with small tears in her eyes.

"... Train as you're not ready for stuff like this, just be your friendly self and try not to make enemies like I did… just stay away from me when it's time for me to act, please." Knuckleduster explained walking away leaving Fuyumi alone.

Fuyumi cried silently at feeling useless again, that she couldn't do anything to help the man that has done so much for her.

About to leave the alleyway and head towards the train station, Fuyumi stopped as she looked back towards the street Tomoa was on. She was so close but so far away that she couldn't do anything to help someone in front of her.

"Was I always meant to be useless?"

Like Fuyumi and Izuku as siblings?

Chapter Text

It was a week after her inner turmoil in that alleyway, and Fuyumi still wasn't feeling much better.

Walking towards Izuku's place, Fuyumi sighed as she thought back to what she did this past week as nothing really happened as she continued to spiral down.

"What am I gonna do? I have been slacking on training, and even then I haven't even been on patrols much since Koichi and Kazuho are still busy with their concert in 3 weeks." Fuyumi muttered to herself as she scratched her head in frustration, but soon slumped down as she continued treading forward as she thought back towards her choice.

'Should I just call it quiet and give up on learning from master and them? I don't even know them that much, and it's clear they are way better than me and even then I am just holding them back instead of helping.' She thought dispiritedly as she was walking up the stairs towards Izuku's still in a spiral.

"I really am useless if I can't solve a single problem, or help anyone." Fuyumi sighed out before knocking on the door.

*Knock knock*

"Fuyumi!" Opening the door suddenly, Izuku smiled brightly at her and tackled her in a hug. 'I swear he is like a puppy sometimes.'

"Hey little bro~" Fuyumi giggled as she patted Izuku's fluffy hair.

"Hey Fuyumi, ready to go out today?" Izuku asked, while nervously staring at her.

"Huh today? But isn't it a study day?" Fuyumi asked, looking at the day on her phone.

"No you said we could hang out every week, since I need to go outside more, but if you don't want to go outside that's fine." Izuku replied softly, staring away from her.

"Oh sorry Izuku I guess I just lost track of the days, so of course we can go." Fuyumi chuckled nervously, cursing herself for bringing teaching supplies on their day off.

"Alright, and are you okay?" Izuku asked worriedly towards her.

"What do you mean?" Fuyumi asked, confused about the sudden worry.

"It's just that you seemed very upset this week, and I was worried that I wasn't doing well with my work, but you kept being down even when on breaks as I saw you cry one time on the couch." Izuku admitted softly staring up at her with concern.

"You saw that!" Fuyumi yelped anxiously as she made it a point not to cry in front of others. 'Stupid me for crying in his home, and even got him worried for you!'

"Yeah, so is something wrong?" Izuku asked.

"... yeah something is, but you don't have to concern yourself with anything Izuku. This is just something personal between me and a friend." Fuyumi half lied as she didn't know if knuckle duster was her friend.

However Izuku glared at her, as he stood his ground and raised his fist in the air as he spoke towards her.

"But meddling when you don't have to is the essence of being a Hero!"

Fuyumi's eyes widened at his words, as she thought back to why she was doing this in the first place. Hell it was what got her on this path in the first place as she remembered back to when she met Izuku. 'I meddled in when I saw him suffering, instead of just sitting on the side lines.'

Smiling in what felt like forever, Fuyumi patted Izuku's hair again as she gave him the biggest grin ever. "I couldn't agree more!"

After a few more reassurances on feeling better towards her little bro, Fuyumi and Izuku left the house to have a fun day as she thought to herself.

'If I want to help, then I need to train hard for when it is time to meddle in!'

Sitting in the middle of the bust streets of Musutafu, Fuyumi and Izuku were enjoying some nice ice-cream in front of the Icecream parlor. Honestly, while it was supposed to be a calm day, Izuku was anything but calm as he was muttering on and on about his favorite ice-cream. 'Seriously if dad saw this then this place would burn to the ground.'

"I love this ice-cream so much as it is so sweet! And looks just like All-Might's Silver era costume, but the face is a bit melted, but looks so realistic! Oh and my favorite part is the pocky strands of hair! It is so creative and I just want to eat it but preserve it forever! Think you can freeze it until we get back home Fuyumi or freeze it forever?" Izuku asked excitedly as he showed her the giant cone of ice-cream shaped like All-Might.

Fuyumi couldn't help but chuckle at his enthusiasm and innocence as she spoke up. "I can't freeze it forever, but I can try to freeze it till we get back home for dessert later, but I say eat this one as we get you another one later after we visit a few shops."

"Really? But isn't this a bit too much for you, since last week we bought matching T-shirts, see!" Izuku asked as he showed off his shirt that Fuyumi bought for him.

(Littlest Best Brother!)

"Yeah I still remember, as I still can't believe you got me to buy that embarrassing T-shirt as well!" Fuyumi groaned as she remembered the awful pun of the shirt that she took a picture of on her phone.

(Coolest Sister!)

"Well as I said, you are the coolest~" Izuku chuckled out as Fuyumi shot him a playful glare before stuffing her face with the Chocolate side of her two scoops. 'They look like cute little bunny buns!'

"Still if you're worried about money, I don't see a problem with that as I am a bit wealthy, besides I like spending stuff on you as I could never really do that with my family." Fuyumi explained with a soft smile while taking another bite.

When she looked back up at Izuku, Fuyumi was confused at his worried expression, making her ask. "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing, it's just that you rarely talk about your real family, and it makes me wonder if everything is okay?" Izuku asked nervously, now taking a bite of the pocky hair.

"Oh it's nothing to worry about as my family is basically not as expressive as you are, it's just a nice change of pace feeling like myself around you." Fuyumi explained cryptically as she didn't want to admit that her home life was the worst.

"I see, glad I can make you feel happy here." Izuku replied with a soft smile, making her smile as well.

"Anyone ever told you you're too sweet?" Fuyumi asked with a mischievous grin.

"I'm not, I'm just honest!" Izuku whined out.

"That you are, but careful little bro, I'm sure any girl would eat you up if they found out how sweet you are~" Fuyumi teased, making Izuku stare at her confused.

"I have no idea what you mean?" Izuku asked innocently.

"Tell you when you're older." Fuyumi chuckled out.

"Meanie! I want to know now!" Izuku whined out playfully.

"Later~ but first let's go inside and get some drinks." Fuyumi giggled out, grabbing her bowl.

"Sure!" Izuku pouted as they headed inside.

"Which do you think she'll like honey?" A man asked his wife.

"I don't know, this would be her first ice-cream, maybe just regular vanilla." The wife sighed.

"That's so bland! Why is it so hard to choose!" The man groaned out.

"Wahhh." An adorable little baby whined from her stroller.

"Sir?" Izuku called out suddenly but not loud enough to scare the baby.

"Yes?" The man asked worriedly.

"I say try the Apple pie flavor! It was my first flavor and I still like it." Izuku replied, making Fuyumi wonder in thought of baby Izuku stuffing his face in a bowl of ice-cream. 'Should probably ask Inko to see his baby pictures.'

"Ooh that sounds delicious! Two apple pies flavored please!" The woman grinned out towards the employee.

"Welp seems my wife decided, I hope they both like it." The man chuckled while paying for the ice-cream as he crouched down in front of his daughter to serve her a bit.

"Eat up my little unicorn! It has apples in it!" The wife cooed ruffling her bluish white hair, carefully to avoid her slightly large horn.

"Baple!" The baby cooed as she leaned forward taking a bite of the Ice-Cream.

Suddenly stars formed in her ruby red eyes as she continued eating more of the ice-cream, even attempting to snatch the entire cone.

"Oh my gosh she is adorable!" Fuyumi cooed and resisted the urge to kidnap the child.

"Looks like she loves it, and definitely has her mother's sweet tooth! Thank you young man." The man chuckled lightly.

"Glad to help, and see that she enjoyed it." Izuku replied brightly towards them.

"She definitely does, guess we'll visit here often, right Eri?" The man asked his baby girl.

"Baple!" Eri repeated taking another bite.

"Take that as a yes, see you around!" The man waved bye as the loving family left.

"Such a nice family, and good to see you're better with kids than me." Fuyumi snickered as she ruffled Izuku's hair.

"I just try my best." Izuku muttered out nervously.

"Still you trying is what gave a little baby girl her first experience with something she loved." Fuyumi explained as they moved forward to order a few drinks.

"Hope I see Eri again, she was cute." Izuku replied softly with a small smile on his face, as Fuyumi grinned happily before replying.

"I know you'll meet her again."

Notes:

As I said, Special shout out to Baselinoffstuff! This actually brought me to tears and I genuinely hope to inspire them some more!

Chapter Text

'Have to be ready!' Fuyumi thought as she was scaling a wall quickly with her ice picks.

Jumping all around the city of Naruhata, Fuyumi was determined to improve all her skills no matter what as she handled crime on her own since Koichi and Kazuho were practicing for their concert. 'Can't rely on them all the time so I have to do this myself.'

Finishing scaling the wall, Fuyumi ran across the roofs looking out for anything that she might help with.

"AAH!" A random male voice screamed out.

'Bingo.' Fuyumi thought as she concentrated on the direction of the noise and watched the alleyways.

Nearing the noise, Fuyumi finally spotted the distressed man surrounded by a group of four thugs, as one obviously had a rock quirk that covered his body.

'First priority.' Fuyumi thought as she formed an ice shield and staff before launching herself off the roof. 'This is gonna hurt.'

"I repeat, give us all yo-" The rock man didn't get to finish as Fuyumi slammed on top of him with a Ice shield breaking it in the process.

"The he-" Fuyumi didn't waste a second as she spun her staff around forming a blunt end of a hammer, and smacked the other thug in the head knocking him against the trash cans.

"Run!" Fuyumi ordered to the frightened man, as he nodded in fear and bolted away with the clear opening she gave.

"Thank you!" The man said as he left the alley leaving Fuyumi alone to deal with two thugs left.

"What's the big idea!" The thug growled, forming a crab like claw on his hand.

"You shouldn't interfere with our business." The last guy said still not showing his quirk yet. 'Have to watch out for this guy.'

"You call mugging poor civilians a business?" Fuyumi asked, forming two ice escrima sticks.

"If it works and we get paid then that's enough business for me." The smug man stated.

"Then I have to stop you." Fuyumi stated, sticking low for balance.

"Claw them up Billy!" The man ordered the claw guy.

"Got it bro!" The claw guy responded and charged towards her.

Charging as well, Fuyumi produced a bit of ice on the ground and slid under the claw as she produced more ice on her sticks to form a hook and trip the man to faceplant the ground.

"Augh bitch!" The claw man yelled out as he treated his face, but Fuyumi was already on top of him and used the ice stick to hit his head and knock him out.

"Fucking billy." The leader stated as he sighed into his hands.

"Gonna surrender now?" Fuyumi asked as she pointed her ice sticks at the man.

"Like hell I will, I just needed time to charge up!" The man grinned when suddenly his entire arm erupted into electricity as he charged forward.

"Shit!" Fuyumi yelped, jumping back from the swing, however the first guy she knocked out grabbed her leg preventing her from leaving.

"Your toast now!" The rock guy grinned with the electric guy on top of her. 'I shouldn't have used a harder shield, now I'm in trouble!'

Throwing the first stick at the electric guy, he dodged, providing a small time gap, making Fuyumi form a mace at the end of her ice sticks and smack the rock guy unconscious again.

Looking back, Fuyumi's eyes widened as the electric fist was mere inches away from her face. 'Too fast!'

Suddenly she felt immense pain on her face, but was still fine and she could feel her limbs still. 'What happened? I clearly got hit!'

"What? What happened to my qu-" Suddenly a black boot slammed into the guy's face knocking him against the wall.

"Got you." The new voice muttered as he wrapped a giant scarf around the thug.

"AUGH who the fuck are you." The person growled out struggling to get out of the scarf.

"None of your business." The man responded as he kicked the man unconscious.

"Oh thank God I thought I was a goner." Fuyumi muttered out as she finally took a deep breath and let some mist off herself.

"Who are you?" The man asked, eyeing her suspiciously.

"Aurora, and is the civilian okay?" Fuyumi asked, enjoying the cold hitting her.

"He's fine, just waiting at the end of the alleyway." The man stated.

"That's good to hear." Fuyumi sighed in relief, enjoying the break.

However her break was short lived, as suddenly a piece of scarf wrapped around her two arms.

"What why?" Fuyumi panicked.

"Vigilantism is illegal, now surrender peacefully or we do things the hard way Aurora." The man stated as he glared at her.

"How do you know I'm not a hero?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"No one is patrolling this part of the city tonight besides me and a different guy named Compass, and judging by your voice, you're definitely not a man." The man stated as he glared at her harder.

"Fuck… can't we talk this out?" Fuyumi asked nervously.

"Behind bars." The man agreed.

"Shit, Knuckleduster is gonna be pissed." Fuyumi panicked out.

"Dammit old timer, adopting Vigilantes like kittens." The man muttered out as Fuyumi decided to file that information for later, as first she needed to escape.

"Uh … cheese it!" Fuyumi yelped as she turned her ice stick into a knife attempting to cut free but wouldn't budge an inch.

"What? But how?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"That scarf has special metal woven into it, meaning it's useless to break free." The man explained with his hair now raised.

Fuyumi tried to produce more ice to freeze the scarf but couldn't as she looked at the man, and realized who he was. 'Fuck! I'm screwed now!'

"Surrender, or I'll make you kid." The man repeated towards her.

"Fine and ERASERHEAD WATCH OUT!" Fuyumi panicked as the 2nd villain she knocked out got up again, and produced an axe face about to chop the heroes back.

"Die dammit!" The villain yelled out, as Fuyumi felt her bindings loosen and quirk return.

The villain was inches away from the hero when suddenly his face turned back to normal as a knee met his chin. "AAUGG!"

"Sloppy take downs Aurora." The hero now known as Eraserhead stated, now wrapping up the man.

Looking back he was met with a Mist cloud hearing a voice. "Sorry Eraserhead, but I can't get caught yet someone needs me!"

Sighing, Eraserhead fished out his phone and contacted for villain pickup as he muttered out with a smile on his face.

"Problem child."

Walking home from after her patrol, Fuyumi made it home as she nursed her bruise that was forming on her face. 'That punch hurt like a bitch! Wish I had the chance to nail him with my ice stick!'

Walking in her home she was met with her father waiting at the front door staring at her. 'Why is he waiting for me?'

Looking at the bruise on her face her father spoke with soft concern in his voice. "What happened to you, Fuyumi? Why do you have a bruise?"

"It's nothing dad, I just tripped on a stray cat and hit my face on a railing, I was just going to ask Natsuo to look at it." Fuyumi lied as she tried hard not to look at her dad.

"Natsuo is currently asleep, but luckily that type of bruise can be treated easily. Have some bruise healing ointment, and apply some packed ice with it." Enji explained walking over towards a cabinet and tossing her the ointment.

"Oh uh thanks dad." Fuyumi chuckled nervously.

"No problem, but I was originally going to scold you." Enji stated, making Fuyumi freeze at the possibility of getting caught. 'What did dad find out, did he see me on patrol?'

"About what?" Fuyumi asked nervously.

"I was going to scold you for not updating me about Rei, as I called and you haven't been visiting her like you used to." Enji huffed, leaning against the wall.

"Sorry dad, I've been meaning to visit but I am just busy with Teaching Izuku since he is still ho-" Fuyumi tried to explain but was interrupted.

"Izuku?" Enji asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

"My student, he is currently being home schooled as he was facing abuse from teachers and students at his old school, he is just opening up to me." Fuyumi explained making Enji narrow his eyes.

"What kind of abuse?" Enji asked as Fuyumi contemplated telling her father about it.

"From what I gather discrimination, as he is basically outcasted as kids use quirks on him with teachers encouraging the action or turning a blind eye." Fuyumi explained making Enji nod in understanding.

"I see, if you want I can have Burnin investigate this matter for you, but it may take a while since she is currently investigating a bunch of cases." Enji explained making Fuyumi turn towards him with wide eyes.

"Really?" Fuyumi asked with tears in her eyes.

"Yes, as those types of environments have the potential to produce villains and-" What Enji was explaining as Fuyumi suddenly interrupted in anger.

"Izuku isn't a villain, nor ever will be! He is a kind hearted kid who dreams of being a hero and helping people!"

"…" Enji just stared at her with wide eyes in shock from the sudden rant.

After a bit, Fuyumi's eyes widened at what happened as she started stuttering out an apology. "S-sorry dad, I didn't mean to I-interrupted and A-argue with you."

Regaining his composure, Enji started speaking again as he sighed out. "It is fine as I didn't mean to accuse your student of being a villain Fuyumi, but tell me this, what about the abusers? The next victims? Even the parents if a student decides to take their life from all the abuse?"

Fuyumi tried to speak but couldn't as she thought deeply. 'Dad's right, if the students graduate with an abusive mindset then they will eventually hurt someone badly, even then the victims may have enough and be likely to retaliate and kill someone if taken too far. Hell even I saw Inko almost willing to murder the teachers for hurting Izuku.'

Enji saw she came to the realization of what he meant as he started speaking up again. "As I said that's a breeding environment for villains, as I'm glad you found a kind hearted kid that managed to stick to his morals, as it really shows the guts of a potential hero."

"Really?" Fuyumi asked, looking up to her dad in shock.

"I'm serious, and as I said I'll assign Burnin to the case since this student means so much to you, but that will still take a while." Enji stated, now walking away.

"Alright thanks dad." Fuyumi called out.

Going towards the mirror to apply ointment on her face, Fuyumi smiled as she thought to herself.

'Knew there was still a heart in him.'

Chapter Text

Walking through the city of Naruhata, Fuyumi was currently heading straight to Koichi's place as she was running ideas and scenarios through her head for possible training and improvements. 'I was lucky to escape from Eraserhead, but next time won't be so lucky if we meet, especially with other heroes I might encounter by accident.'

"So I need to work on mist shroud output to last longer and find ways of escaping while they are blinded. If I also take a page from Eraserhead's tricks that Izuku showed me then I might be able to ambush villains, but not from the shadows but instead from the mist! Also still need to find a way to successfully knock out or make a villain surrender as it was a close call with villains still getting back up at the worst moments, so maybe I should restrain them while they are down? Should take a second to make ice cuffs so that is likely my best option! Also *Mutter mutter mutter*

Fuyumi kept muttering ideas to herself as people gave her a wide berth as she was subconsciously speaking out to herself a mile a minute.

Before she knew it, she arrived at the building, surprising her how deep in thought she was. "That's weird, it usually feels like I take forever to get here."

Shrugging at the coincidence, Fuyumi made it upstairs to find the place completely silent. 'Weird is no one home?'

Knocking on the door, Fuyumi expected someone to awnser but what she didn't expect was the door to swing wide open and have a giant hand grab her.

"Get inside!" Someone gruff whispered out loud as she was pulled in the dark living room.

"What, what's going on?" Fuyumi panicked, making an Ice baton incase.

"Shut up girl! We are trying to hide and surprise koichi!" A familiar female voice whispered out.

"Wait, pop?" Fuyumi asked calming down a but.

"Who do you think it is, the tooth fairy?" Pop huffed out which Fuyumi can imagine she is pouting.

"Sorry, I just panicked since I was suddenly yanked into a dark room." Fuyumi explained in an annoyed voice.

"Sorry about that, we are trying to make it seem like no one is here." The person explained which Fuyumi now knew was Knuckleduster.

"Why? Is something wrong?" Fuyumi asked worriedly.

"Not particularly no, it's just we are waiting to surprise Koichi for his birthday!" Kazuho explained making Fuyumi's eyes widen even though no one can see her shocked face.

"Really? Now I wish I bought him something." Fuyumi sighed out.

"Don't feel bad, I just learned today too and bought the stupidest cake for him to try." Knuckleduster spoke as both girls could see the grin on his face in the dark.

"No slamming his face in the cake!" Kazuho ordered.

"Party pooper." Knuckleduster grimaced.

*Creak*

The door suddenly opened making everyone tense when the lights suddenly turned on.

"SURPRISE!!!"

"AHHH!" Koichi panicked dropping his cup of pop on the ground.

"Pfft sorry Koichi." Kazuho grinned as she held a present in her hand still finding his bad luck amusing.

"It's fine, it was almost finished anyway, but wow I totally got surprised that you remembered my birthday." Koichi shrugged now sporting a wide smile at being appreciated on his birthday.

"Of course I remember dummy, you mean a lot to me." Kazuho sighed as she gave him the small present.

"Thanks Kazuho it means a lot." Koichi grinned towards her making the vigilante turn away to hide her obvious blush making Fuyumi grin at the cute moment. 'Ooh will they be a thing?'

"Just open it up already." Fuyumi mumbled out with Koichi following her orders.

Opening the package tearing apart the wrapping paper, koichi was surprised by the gift he received and smiled wider. "Oh Kazuho, thank you so much I love it!"

"You really are an All-might fanboy heh." Knuckleduster grinned as everyone saw Koichi's gift from Kazuho being a Unique Pair of All-might inspired sneakers.

"Glad you like it, there was an event selling 250 pairs and I just happened to think of you so… I participated since you are a won-great! friend to me Koichi." Kazuho admitted with a blush looking at Koichi nervously.

"Oh Kazuho, you are a wonderful friend to me too! Along with Master and Fuyumi as well!" Koichi grinned out obliviously.

*Crack*

Kazuho was pure white as her heart shattered in pieces with both Fuyumi and Knuckleduster hissing internally. 'That's a mood killer.'

"Dummy!" Kazuho pouted walking away.

"What? Why am I the dummy?" Koichi asked, confusedly.

"She is just being emotionally overwhelmed, it's a girl thing Koichi." Fuyumi explained having Kazuho's back.

"Alright? Weird." Koichi mumbled out.

"Anyway happy birthday as I didn't know until today, so as much as I don't really have a gift, how about next time we go on patrol your foods on me, Deal?" Fuyumi asked giving a thumbs up to Koichi.

"I'll take free food any day, so deal!" Koichi agreed as Kazuho sighed for the extra support from Fuyumi's help.

"Welp my boy, now it's time for your present from me!" Knuckleduster grinned devilishly.

"A present from Master! What is it, a new technique, new equipment, what is it?" Koichi asked rushing towards the table towards Knuckleduster like a excited puppy.

"A knuckle sandwich!" The buff vigilante grinned out with his fist out making Koichi pale in fear.

"KAZUHO AND FUYUMII SAVE ME!!!"

Notes:
