Summary
When, the night before Meng Yao is set to leave for Lanling, Nie Mingjue confesses his feelings to her, it feels too good to be true. When Nie Mingjue turns on her, she is forced to flee to Qishan, carrying a secret: she is pregnant. During her time in Qishan, she meets Wen Qing. After the war, after she's become Jin Yao, Nie Mingjue accepts to marry her, but still doesn't trust her, and questions if the child is truly his as she claims. Lan Xichen, secretly in love with both, tries to help them fix their relationship.
