   Summary

   Three months before graduation, Izuku Midoriya finds himself at a crossroads. Unsure of what to do with a life he feels is outside of his control, he accompanies Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, and Ochako on a mission in hopes of gaining some insight about the kind of hero he wants to become. However, a voice calls to him in the back of his mind, between the gaps in the trees, beneath the murky water. Someone helpless. Someone hopeless. It’s all he can do to remind himself that the voice he hears isn’t his own.
