“Found you!” Katsuki yells from beside Zuku when he finds the green haired boy under the slide. “You’re it!” He continues excitedly as he pokes his friend’s shoulder.
Zuku giggles and crawls out from his hiding spot. It’s flu season so Takachan and Mochan weren’t in the park with them. Tag is usually less fun when it’s only two people but with for some reason Zuku made everything seem better.
“Up here, slow poke!” Katsuki calls from a tall part of the jungle gym.
“Kacchan! You know I can’t get up there!” Zuku whines from below. ‘He’ll never get me now!’ Katsuki thinks triumphantly.
“Come on, Zuku! All Might wouldn’t give up.” The blond encourages as he swings his feet off the edge. He notices his mistake a little to late when Zuku quickly runs over and jumps to hit the bottom of Katsuki’s shoe.
“You’re it!” Zuku tells with a giggle before running off in the opposite direction.
“That’s cheating, Zuku!” Katsuki complains half heartedly from his perch before climbing down and chasing the green haired boy some more. They take a turn and run into the forest.
Giggles fill the woods as Katsuki gives chase. “Zuku! Come back!”
Bakugou jolts awake. He rubs at his eyes and looks up to see a collection of his classmates staring at him. They were doing a study group. He must have fallen asleep but that doesn’t explain the staring.
“The hell are you looking at?” His worlds lose their threatening tone when it’s slurred with sleep.
“Zuku, Huh?” Pinky starts. “That’s such a cute nickname! Kinda sad Midoryia didn’t get a chan though...”
Bakugou’s face turns warm, “I don’t know what the fuck you’re goin on about, Raccoon eyes.” He grumbles and pretends to be interested in something in the book.
“The name Zuku is so manly. How could ever settle on something like Deku, Bakubro?” Kirishima says to his right.
“Shut up!” The explosive boy picks one of the pillows up from nearby on the ground and chucks it at Kirishima’s sharp tooth grin.
“Do you think Kacchan would mind us calling Midoriya Zuku?” Kaminari asks Sero to tease Bakugou across the room.
“I swear to god I’ll kill all of you if this leaves this room.” He growls while looking to his collection of pains in his ass.
Jirou with no fear pokes the bear again, “...So, no calling him Zuku then?”

“Is Bakugou’s study group going okay?” Tokayami says as he sits next to Izuku on the common room couch.
“He’s just having fun with his friends.” Izuku says not looking up from his book as explosions, screeches and laughter echo throughout the dorms.
