I'll Always Find You

Summary:

After disappearing from the the common room that night, Midoriya finally makes his move before anyone has the chance to react. Bakugou is now in the hands of the monster that has followed him since childhood. This time however, everyone knows what kind of person Midoriya is so there's no need for him to hide in the shadows anymore.

**

His flight or fight response wasn’t working, all that was left was freeze and watch helplessly as the school disappearing in the distance. It was like his brain was suddenly shutting down and all he could think was,
‘Oh God, no one is ever going to know what happened to me.’

This is part 2 to a series that I'm writing. The first part is called "I'll always follow you".

Chapter 1: Day 1

Chapter Text

Truthfully, he was surprised it took as long as it did for Deku to come for him. One moment he was facing off against Shitty hair on the sparring grounds and the next he was hundreds of feet in the air souring above the city. It only took him a moment to start screaming from anger? Fear? He wasn’t sure at the moment; everything was moving far too quickly for him to comprehend. When Aizawa had assured him that he was safe at the school he believed him because there was no way that Deku would be able to get to him behind the schools security. No one banked on the stalker waiting for the perfect moment to activate his quirk and grab him quicker than any sensor could detect. “LET ME GO!” The blonde screamed desperately.

“If I let you go now you’ll die.” The other replied smugly.

He couldn’t see his face with how he was thrown over the others shoulder, but he could tell that he was smirking. His flight or fight response wasn’t working, all that was left was freeze and watch helplessly as the school disappearing in the distance. It was like his brain was suddenly shutting down and all he could think was, ‘Oh God, no one is ever going to know what happened to me.’

There was no way someone would be able to follow them at this speed. He could already feel himself disassociating by the time Deku landed and grabbing his hair to crack his skull into the pavement.

His vision was blurry for a solid ten seconds before he could finally focus on his surroundings again. Wherever he was it was dark besides light shine in through a doorway from the hallway. He shuffled forward a bit to see better until he realized he was looking through essentially a grate. “What the fuck?” He whispered.

“You’re finally awake.”

He couldn’t help jumping as the greenette spoke up from beside him. He was quiet, he hadn’t even noticed him. What kind of creep just sits in the dark and watches someone. Oh right, this one. The blonde stared at him wearily, waiting for him to speak again. However, he stayed silent and watched the other with a content smile.

“What the fuck is all this?” Bakugou snapped, bravery winning over fear for the moment, “let me out of this-this thing!”

“I finally have you where I’ve always wanted you, why would I just let you go?” Midoriya laughed at him like he was a dumb child.

The blondes brow furrowed in confusion before he finally realized that he was sitting in a large dog crate.

“Are you kidding me?” He hissed.

“I know it’s not the home that you deserve but I’ll be able to get it for you soon. I promise.” The teen urged with the same crooked smile, “that goes for the apartment too. Obviously I couldn’t get some opulent mansion but someone owed me a favour so I get to stay here rent free!”

Bakugou could only stare at him in horror. He was supposed to consider a dog crate.. home? He could feel his blood turning red hot, reaching for the spark of his quirk he lashed forward. “LET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE BEFORE I LOSE IT!” He screamed, slamming his hand against the cage expecting the familiar resounding boom but was only greeted with silence.

His eyes widened at the same time that Midoriya’s smile widened into the creepy slit that he was unfortunately so familiar with. He finally noticed that heavy cuffs on both of his wrists. They were sleek with no indicator of a place to open them or slip them off. As childish as it felt, it reminded him of the cuffs that kept the Genie captive for thousands of years. Now he could finally understand how the genie had felt. He also noticed, increasing his panic again, that his hero costume had been changed out for a pair of black slacks and white cotton long sleeve shirt.

“What are you going to do to me?” Bakugou whimpered, his earlier bravery was quickly bleeding out of him as his memories of their shared past tormented him.

He squeezed his eyes shut as the other boy got closer and closer. “There’s no need to be so afraid Kaachan,” Midoriya cooed, “I’ll be here to teach you how to properly act, and when you do finally learn we can take the right steps to make you a good hero.”

“You’re crazy.” The blonde breathed.

He understood his mistake far too late, once his head snapped to the side from a punch that instantly left him dizzied and bloody. When had he even opened the door of the cage and how did he not notice? His entire body slumped over, his head lolling, trying to look back to Deku who was now one of the only sources of light in the room besides the hall lights. “You..hit me.” He slurred, as blood sluggishly rolled out of his nose.

“WHAT’S SO CRAZY ABOUT MAKING YOU THE NUMBER ONE HERO?!” He screamed in his face, “WHAT?! YOU DON’T WANT TO BE NUMBER ONE ANYMORE?! IS THAT IT!?”

He grabbed him by the hair, shaking him violently as he raised his fist to hit him again. The blonde whimpered pathetically, curling in one himself. His head was too jumbled to think clearly. He cried out again as Deku gave him another solid blow to the head. He could feel his cheek starting to swell, enough that it was starting to impair the vision in his right eye. “WHY CAN’T YOU JUST BEHAVE?!” His captor screamed, “THEN I WOULDN’T HAVE TO DO THIS TO YOU!”

Bakugou quickly latched onto the hand gripping his hair, “I’m sorry.” He garbled, tears falling down his face, “I’m sorry just please stop..”

In an instant the greenette’s face softened, releasing his hair and instead caressing his bloodied face. “That wasn’t so hard was it?” He cooed, “look you’re already learning your manners. Although in school it’s not just learning your please’s, you also have to learn your thank you’s.”

He gazed down at the other, with a grin he could only akin to glee. “So what do you say now?”

Bakugou couldn’t help but feel a deep bubbling rage in the pit of his stomach, but he swallowed it down as best he could as he muttered out a quiet ‘thank you’. He flinched as he was grabbed by his aching jaw again. “You’re supposed to smile when you say thank you.” Deku added, with an ugly grimace.

He tried again, this time with the best smile he could manage after being beat half to unconsciousness. He couldn’t help that his lip wobbled and a few tears fell down his face.

“We’ll work on that.” Deku said, releasing his hold and closing the door of the cage again.

“My face,” Bakugou muttered, just as Deku was going to exit the room, “what if my nose is broken?”

Then I guess your nose is broken.” The green haired boy replied with a shrug of his shoulders, “If that’s what it takes to make you behave, then so be it.”

Bakugou couldn’t help but gape at the teen. After all these years his invincible leverage was snatched away from him in an instant.  All throughout his life, he thought that Midoriya had hated seeing him hurt in anyway. He realized with a sudden shutter down his spine, Deku just hated it when other people hurt him. Deku had always wanted to bring him pain with his own hands.
