Notes:

Bonjour! This is another thing I’m writing in attempt of trying to find what writing style fits me best and so I hope you like it!

Ps. Be prepared to slightly dislike jungkook.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Chapter Text

It all obviously started with a creator, or three creators that is. Namjoon, Jin and Yoongi. The three are as you humans know: Creation, Life and Death. They each were the highest in the beginning and then the humans came along. It was jin’s idea because:

“All of this glory needs to be praised..and we need to do something with our wonderful strength.” He said inspecting his white and golden robes; a total contrast with yoongi’s black and gold robes. Jin’s patterns were of the sun and yoongi’s patterns were of the moon, and both deities were adorned heavily in golden jewelry. Namjoon, except for a part of his bare chest he was covered head to toe in green; emeralds, diamonds, jaspers and small opals scattered throughout the ensemble of fine silk.

When they came to be they knew exactly who and what they were. No room for explanation because as soon as you know it namjoon has earth ready for life. As in, right now there was just land green and lush with jin’s help and there were humans and animals but some things weren’t right. They were just... there. Bring in the other four:

“What’s taking him so long?”

“I don’t know but I know he knows what he’s doing.” Yoongi whispered back to Jin as Namjoon's back was turned, focusing on something more important. He was creating another deity, Hoseok. The process only consisted of a chant and the motion of hands along with the sparkling magic hoseok took his first breath. He was in robes of deep and light blue satin dotted with selenite, aquamarine, sapphires and blue rubies mimicking the look of waves, he was what made water.

“Hello. Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon.” He said with a bright smile making two out of the three gods face morph into shock. It was quiet until they all bursted out in laughter. Soon enough they quieted down and looked as Hoseok touched the parts of earth without the lush green turning them into rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans.

“Hoseok, your eyes are a very pretty shade of blue.”

“Thanks, your golden eyes are also very pretty.” Hoseok said watching Jin blushed and turned to face where the first mortals were currently walking around.

“They’re just walking around, drinking some water and eating some fruits at times and nothing else.” Yoongi said, pointing to the humans on earth with boredom. Hoseok cocked his head to the side in thought.

“Jin, can you put life in the water?”

“Is that even possible?” Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hoseok stared at Jin with disbelief and disappointment. They whispered among themselves while still looking at Jin.

“What? It’s just a question.”

“You literally create life and you ask if you can create life underwater. Namjoon, did you make him dumb on purpose?” Yoongi asked pinching the bridge of his nose when he felt a wave of magic knock hit him on the head and he yelped in pain. Namjoon had his back turned chanting and waving his hands.

“Jin we’ve only been here for a day and you’re already throwing hands.” Hoseok said walking around on the cloud they were on. They heard Namjoon's chanting stop and they saw a long purple cloth made of something thin. They rushed over to Namjoon to see the newcomer.

“Oh my, he’s so-“

“Soft? Flexible? Thin? Thick? I know.” The man said brushing his long dark purple locks away revealing the loose fitting purple crop top and pants dusted with gold; paired with golden zills on his wrists, waist and ankles. He was there for healing, tradition, dance and marriage; he was Jimin.

“He’s very confident, he’s here to help the mortals actually find things to do, along with dancing.” Namjoon said, turning to face Jimin only to see that he had already begun his trip down to where the mortals were.

“I like him, we’ll keep him.” Yoongi said watching as Jimin arrived being a full foot taller than even the tallest mortal. Jin and hoseok gave each other a look and turned again towards namjoon.

“While he keeps them busy Jin, make those-“

“Fishes, that’s what the mortals will call them.”

“Yeah, make them fish, let’s keep ourselves busy, test your powers or something... anything really because this next one is already giving me a headache and that’s not a good sign.” Namjoon said turning again so the others didn’t see what he was doing. Jin was adding the fish to the water whilst hoseok was testing how cold it could go. Jimin was teaching the mortals a dance and Yoongi was testing all his magical weapons. Soon there was a loud crack that shocked everyone and jimin quickly made his way back up after his job was done.

“Hello my name is Jungkook and fuck you all. Honestly, as long as I can fight or whatever I could care less.”

“I like this kid, we'll keep him.” Yoongi said observing jungkook’s figure, he was buff

“I don’t like it. is it possible to return a deity?” Jin said, flipping his long black hair. Jungkook just stared at him with his crimson eyes, he was dressed in all red and black, Smokey quartz were lined up in sharp zig-zag patterns creating a line that separated the maroon and the black. He was fire and thunder; jungkook.

“Sorry Jin, once a deity is born they can’t go back. But hey, at least the mortals will have emotions.” Namjoon said with a shrug. Jin put his hands on his slim waist and Jimin walked over with the sound of his zills joining in. He put his hands on his hips like Jin and smiled at the other deity.

“A fiery attitude hmm, hoseok what do you think?”

“All I will say is that the next one... fiery jungkook who?” Hoseok said, smiling with his glowing blue eyes and turning back to where jungkook and Yoongi were testing their weapons.

“This is one bigass cloud.”

“Yeah, what more would you expect?” Jimin said silencing his zills using his magic and walking to where jungkook was. The younger deity was currently staring at the mortals who were currently building houses that jimin taught them to build. Jimin was able to teach them how to dance, build, love and farm all before jungkook arrived. He was very quick and graceful at whatever he did.

“I was expecting a nice and big palace?”

“We aren’t there yet kiddo.”

“Do I look like a kid to you? I’ll literally break you.”

“Tread slowly with your words, we can’t fight on the first day and plus you’re no match against life and death, you’ll die…but anyways...” Jin said shrugging his shoulders and brushing the bangs out his face.

“Oh, have y’all noticed how there is no sky but there’s just the sun it looks kinda weird with our cloud thing?” Hoseok said, pointing out their surroundings. It was very interesting, the stars were there and the sun was shining brightly it was pretty surprising how the humans weren’t terrified out of their bodies.

“Yeah and what am I supposed to do make it blue? I do red, bitch.” That earned kook a slap on the back of his head knocking him into the soft clouds; it was given by jimin. The older deity smiled brightly at him before kicking him down again.

“Learn how to shut you’re mouth ok?” He said before walking over to peek over namjoon’s shoulder and after he did his eyes widened and soon he slightly lifted his feet from the ground and hovered to where hoseok was. They both whispered to each other in excitement.

“Hey, look at the sky.... the sky is blue now?” Yoongi said from the position he was in. Using his magic he took a piece of the cloud and turned it into a palanquin that floated in the air. Call him extra, he loved his shit.

“Hobi, did you touch anything?” Jin asked turning towards the icy haired deity.

“Nope, my eyes aren’t glowing so isn’t it obvious? Plus, I only do water shit.” Hoseok said before Namjoon turned around again but no one was next to him, in front of him or behind him. They all looked with questionable faces except for jungkook who seemed uninterested.

“Wait for it.” Namjoon put his hands behind his back. In a flash there was fog and a figure standing next to jungkook with it’s head on his shoulder. In seconds the fog dissapeared and the figure was beautiful. He was wearing a navy and light blue crop top like jimin’s but his was off the shoulder, he was wearing wide legged pants that started from his slim waist down accentuating the movement of his hips when he walked to stand next to namjoon he also had a belt of azurite beads sitting right above his small waist. The whole outfit was adorned greatly with chains of lapis lazuli and moonstone beads and someone was staring.

“Uh uh no sir please don’t attack us like this. Namjoon can we keep this one and take out jungkook?”

“I think this jungkook is perfectly fine, I’m Taehyung by the way.” The youngest deity said looking at Jungkook's figure and caused Yoongi to choke on his own spit. The boy’s voice was as smooth as silk and oh boy was this gonna be interesting. Jungkook was frozen in his place with wide eyes making Jin, Hoseok and Jimin laugh.

“Whatever you say Taehyung. Now, we’re all here, let me just- please move back a little.” Namjoon said weaving his magic together and created a palace, the largest most splendid castle ever to be created. It was in the traditional Korean style and you could see who’s part was where because of the color range, there was the main throne room which was surrounded by the other rooms, each equipped with a slightly smaller throne room. The gods decided to(obviously) observe the palace heading in their own directions.

“There is soooo much water and blue here! I love it. I love it!” Hoseok said gliding around his large room. You may be wondering how they’ll be able to contact each other in this bigass palace, they’re deities. They each have wonderful hearing so when someone says their names they’ll hear. For a while they spent time by themselves getting used to their new surroundings. In about a human month they had gotten used to their daily routines.

And for a year things were normal. The humans carried on daily life, enjoying each month, praying to the 7 deities above for help or just to thank them, and building massive temples for their deities that jimin had taught them about.

Everything was peaceful, That is until the day jungkook got enchanted by Yoongi’s daughter.

“If we’re supposed to be worshipped then where are my attendants? I’m a fucking deity, I can’t manage this place all by myself.” He couldn’t see them but they were shaking their heads in annoyance. They were all pretty sure he has been made known of everything and how these humans had to die naturally before he could have his attendants.

“This dumbass.”

“You can manage, you’re a fucking deity.” Jimin said walking gracefully into junkook’s throne room swaying his hips like a seductress would. Jungkook noticed that Jimin had changed his outfit. He wasn’t in his dancer’s clothes. Instead, he was wearing a dark purple robe almost like Jin’s except the chest was more open and you could see the older deity’s abs, his zills were also missing. It still had the same designs as his other outfits but this was most likely meant to be sexy.

“How do you know that?” Jimin walked up to the younger deity and put his hands on his hips. Jungkook rolled his eyes and looked elsewhere to hide the blush slowly creeping up his cheeks.

“Are you doubting your own power right now? Seriously... all you have to do is snap and bam! Clean or whatever, this shits easy as fuck.” To demonstrate Jimin snapped his fingers and right as a purple sparkly dust appeared they were both on Jimin's side of the residence. It was all purple amethyst and marble with golden inscriptions on the walls and golden patters on the floor. There were many instruments on the sides of walls all made of either the finest wood, jade and gold.

“Plus, when Yoongi and Jin come to an agreement on how many humans will die and be born each day then… the first 7 people that die young will be our attendants.”

“I thought you were teaching me how to clean my place..? Why are we here.” He completely ignored what Jimin said and ran his hands through his dark red hair. Jimin looked back at him and smiled.

“I need help.” Jungkook stared at Jimin blankly. To be frank, this statement was useless to jungkook. They’re deities. Why the hell would Jimin need his help? If anything, Jimin could destroy whole mountains when he’s mad but that has yet to happen. Jimin waved his hand and one of his many jade pipas floated over to where he was.

“What can I possibly do that you can’t. We are literal GODS jimin, you don’t need my help. ” Jungkook said, placing his hands on his hips slowly losing his patience. Jimin smiled tightly at him and examined the instrument making sure it was the correct one.

“I’m doing something, just stand there and look at my hands kook.” Jungkook rolled his eyes at the nickname but he let his eyes travel down to where Jimin’s hands were on the pipa. Jimin smirked and started playing a tune.

Jungkook felt something inside of him slightly speed up. But before he could remove his eyes that were now glowing purple from Jimin’s hands he fell to the ground.

“That’ll shut him up for a while.” Jimin laughed to himself before effortlessly dragging Jungkook to the bed. He then quickly made his way back down to earth to spend time with the mortals. He didn’t forget to bring Taehyung along with him.

“Why are you here?” Hoseok asked Yoongi who was currently staring at the vast landscape of the mountains from the water God’s balcony. He turned around and smiled at the other. Hoseok had just returned from his daily ‘cleansing’ which was basically underwater meditation. Out of all of them, he is the only one who can breathe underwater.

“Jin.”

“Oh, wanna talk about it?” The other deity said sitting on the edge of the balcony. Yoongi shook his head no and hoseok decided to not push any further. They stood there enjoying the bright sun and the misty atmosphere of living in the high mountains. The humans were only visible by a screen of water from the front courtyard that was at least the size of a mega mall. The gods had no problem with getting across that very huge palace with their many forms of transportation: flying, levitation(basically sliding across a surface 2ft off the ground) by cloud or teleportation. Their naturally fast walking and height also set them apart from the humans, the tallest human was 6’3 and the gods were all taller than 7’.

“Hobi, I wonder… how do you cope with knowing the future?”

“First, there are limits to my power, I’ve tried and I can only tell three days into the future. Second, I had a talk with namjoon and he told me I can only say one sentence about it to prevent major problems from happening. Third, I can’t tell my own future. Lastly, you don’t have to worry because you and Jin will come up to an agreement soon.”

“When is soon?”

“I can’t tell you that.” Hoseok smiled at Yoongi and went back into his room with the other deity following not far behind. His area of residence was mainly blue, if you asked nicely he would turn his left wall into an aquarium filled with many beautiful betta fish.

“Want some sake?”

“Sure, a simple drink won’t hurt right?” The gods, including Namjoon, were the same but different when compared to humans. They obviously had powers more than what a mortal could do and they were all very tall and impossibly beautiful. What made them similar was the fact that the gods had emotions(jungkook specializes in anger and assholeness) and needs, they could also get drunk…. like the humans.

“Ok so maybe sake wasn’t a good idea… Jin! Can you please come over.” Hobi said to himself while rushing over to the older god's beautiful white and gold marble palace. Yoongi had gotten drunk after at least 50 shots and he was now spouting nonsense words that nobody could understand. Maybe if he wasn’t so powerful it wouldn’t happen but he summoned a phoenix and hoseok didn’t know how he did that so he was terrified.

“What happened? Can I not take a nap in this place!?” Jin got up, fixing his robes as he had been awoken with Hoseok's arrival. He blew his hair out of his face and waved the panicked water god into the room.

“Ok so, Yoongi is drunk.” Jin looked at the other in disbelief.

“Lies.”

“No seriously he had at least 200 shots of sake and he’s drunk.”

“So what do you want me to do about this??”

“He said this random thing then blue fire and a phoenix just popped into the air!” Hoseok exclaimed  but right after he said the word phoenix Jin stood up and rushed to the room Yoongi was currently in. When they both arrived there was a barely dressed lady sitting on Yoongi’s lap. Jin’s eyes widened and he rushed into the room turning the heads of the two.

“Yoongi. What did you do?!” Jin put his hands on his hips staring at the lady dressed in all red and gold and the red silk did not cover much as there were cuts showing her sides and her legs. She had sharp eyebrows, pale skin like Yoongi’s and thick red lips. A true rival to Taehyung’s beauty.

“She’s my daughter; Pascal.” Yoongi slurred before a wave of Jin’s hand sent him to sleep. The phoenix, who was slightly shorter than the other gods got up from the sleeping body and glared at Jin with glowing eyes attempting to do something but it failed because the mighty deity grabbed her by the hand and they both disappeared into thin air only leaving a red and golden mist. Hoseok just stood there looking at Yoongi’s unconscious body, dragged him to lay on the bed and made his way to clear his mind.

“I didn’t see this coming.” He said before stepping into his meditation pool with selenite in both of his hands.
