Never landing a real blow...” She trails off, heaving yet another sigh before continuing: “But he's just as bad as you. Just a tide that comes and goes, comes and goes. All that occurs is erosion.” She looks at him, then, really looks at him. “You'll wear yourselves out before you accomplish anything with each other, at this rate. You've been at this for a long, long time, Pei Ming. Don't you think it's time that the two of you were fully honest with each other?”
