Summary
‘What,’ Jiang Cheng snaps, and then he yawns. He hadn’t managed to get much sleep last night for reasons unknown, and because of that, is crankier than normal. Wei Ying isn’t helping matters. ‘What are you doing.’
Because Wei Ying is nosing him all over, licking at Jiang Cheng’s ears before circling around him twice and plopping down, curled around Jiang Cheng neatly.
And he fucking hates it, because Wei Wuxian envelops him almost completely, and he hates it because it also makes him feel warm and safe and other things he associates with Wei Ying but would never say out loud, even on the pain of death.
‘What’s wrong, A-Cheng,’ Wei Ying says quietly, and his paw bats at Jiang Cheng’s side comfortingly. ‘You’re angrier than usual.’
‘No thanks to you,’ Jiang Cheng says, and snaps his jaw near Wei Ying’s neck. The threat has long since stopped being...threatening, and Wei Ying merely huffs as he licks Jiang Cheng’s nose.
