There are many advantages to being a half vampire.
Half-vampires don't need to avoid the sun. Stronger―though still weaker than pureblood vampires―than the average person. And their appearance is also outstanding.
Half-vampires, like himself, didn't really need blood to live. Just human food is enough. That's why he can live freely like this until now.
But that doesn't mean Childe doesn't like blood....
"You always give me money when I need it." Zhongli suddenly started talking while looking at him. "Maybe I can't repay all the help you've given but if you really need something, feel free to tell me. I'll try my best to help you."
Zhongli's words just now almost made Childe laugh. But he tried to endure it while making a hesitant expression.
"Actually Zhongli-sensei, I have something to tell you. This is... my biggest secret in my entire life. Would you mind to hear it?"
"Please help me, Zhongli-sensei...."

To be honest, Childe didn't mean to go this far....
At first, Childe tells about himself being a half-vampire only to make Zhongli feel sorry for him. But who would have thought that the results would be this great?
Childe drank the blood on Zhongli's wrist gently, slowly, as if Zhongli's blood was the most precious thing in the whole world and indeed it was.
He had indeed smelled the sweet smell of Zhongli's blood before but he never thought that Zhongli's blood would taste sweeter than what Childe imagined.
Childe took a deep breath while moving his lips away from Zhongli's wrist. This man's blood really got him addicted. More, he wanted more than this.
"What's wrong?"
Zhongli then asked with concern when he saw Childe's strange expression.
Childe shook his head in response before giving Zhongli a faint smile.
"It's okay. It's just that I feel like... I want to drink more. Ah, this doesn't mean Zhongli-sensei gave me too little. It's just... I think I ate too much."
"Sorry for being too greedy."
Since he wanted to drink more, he had to start moving now.
Striking at the point where Zhongli would feel even more sorry for him.
"It's okay, I understand. If you want more, just tell me. I don't mind at all."
With a serious expression on his face, Zhongli brought his wrist back towards Childe. A happy smile bloomed on Childe's lips as he brought his lips closer to Zhongli's wrist.
"Thank you, Zhongli-sensei. You really are the best."

"Is it just me or you really been drinking too much lately?"
"Ahahaha... Sorry. I can't help myself because your blood is so sweet, sensei."
Zhongli sighed deeply as he shook his head upon hearing that answer. Childe's answer left him speechless but there was nothing to say. After all, he did this voluntarily from the start so he couldn't complain.
"Sensei, will you hate me if I ask for more than this?"
Childe then asked softly after seeing that Zhongli had no intention of protesting his actions. Zhongli frowned when he heard the question.
"What do you mean?"
"I always wish I could bite your neck, Zhongli-sensei." Childe answered honestly while looking directly into the man's eyes. "Will you let me do that?"
"Childe-dono...."
"Sensei, can you let me do that? Please?"
"As payment for your willingness, I'll take care of you forever. What do you think? Sounds good, right?"
"Sensei will feed me forever while I will take care of sensei forever. We will be together forever. You are willing, right?"
And in the end, Zhongli couldn't say no to Childe's plea.

Since when did their relationship get this complicated? If you ask Zhongli, he also doesn't know the answer.
Maybe it all started when he found out about Childe's real plans to Liyue? Or maybe when he realized that Childe had always been pretending in front of him?
Zhongli stared fixedly at the man who was squatting beside him. He could clearly see the man's worried expression now that their fight was over.
Zhongli, who couldn't move his body at all, could only lie down on the ground quietly. Childe rubbed his bleeding cheek gently as he continued to look at him with a worried expression.
"It's okay, Zhongli-sensei. Don't worry. You will get well soon."
Childe sighed while moving the finger that had just rubbed Zhongli's bleeding cheek closer to his own lips. The man's tongue then stretched out to lick the blood on his finger.
"Hah. Even it's sweeter than usual, I still made you lose a lot of blood today. What a waste. From now on I have to take care of you more carefully."
"See, sensei. I'm really trying to keep my promise with you."
"So don't ever say you're going to leave me, okay?"
