Izuku's Delivery Service

Summary:

Izuku is a thirteen year old Warlock, and per tradition, he is doing his one year aboard to hone and study his magic. With the Magic of One for All under his belt, nothing can hold him back.

However when delivering a package to a different city, he runs into a strange man, who seems friendly at first, but has sinister plan for this young Warlock.

(DFOHalloween Contest.)

Notes:

Hi, so I'm totally late with this, I originally had another idea where Izuku was going to meet Tomura Shigaraki and befriend him only to be lead back to All for One during a house party. But that was more Tomura and Izuku interacting the DFO so that idea was scraped last minute for this instead.

This is a Kiki Delivery Service inspired AU so you'll see a couple of themes of that world building sprinkled through out. For some context All familiars are named after character hero/Villain identities:

All for One is Hisashi familiar.

Deku is Izuku Familiar.

Tenko is Tomura familiar. ect ect.

Sorry if their are any mistakes, I wanted to get this done so I hope you enjoy.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Six Months Prior

The sky was vast, with lazy clouds floating in the air. The full moon cast dull glow on to the land, it was beckoning to Izuku, coaxing him to follow the light.

Inko blew into a handkerchief behind him, snapping him out of his trance, "Oh my baby boy, I'm so happy for you!" she sniffled. Wiping happy tears from her eyes, "I was so worried that you wouldn't be able to make this journey. But look at you, despite the odds you persevered at now you're leaving home," she said with a huge smile.

"Mum come on, you're going to make me cry too" Izuku choked out, feeling the tears starting to well up.

His mother fanned her face down, giving a tight nod, "Sorry, don't cry Izuku you should be smiling wide".

Izuku nodded, looked over at Mr Yagi, expected him to be calm and collected, but he was crying as well. "Whoa, Mr Yagi, are you alright?" Izuku asked worriedly.

"Sorry my boy, I'm just so proud of you" Mr Yagi explained taking an offed handkerchief from his mother and blowing his nose. "The journey ahead is gonna be tough, but I know you'll manage!" he stated, fist-bumping the air in exaggeration.

"Although, if you ever find it's too much, just know you can always come back home" Inko added, picking up Izuku broom for him, holding out to take.

"And come back a failure, no way" Izuku declared, taking the broom for his mothers giving hands. "Besides I got Deku with me, so I won't be alone" Izuku added looking down at his Kurilian Bobtail, with a red collar tied around its neck.

"I know" his mother smiled "and I look forward to seeing what kind of Warlock you'll be when you come back" he mother reached up and held his face.

"No doubt a great one" Mr Yagi added, putting a hand on Izuku shoulder, Inko nodded at his words.

Izuku looked at his mother and mentor and felt the tears fall down his face, he slowly walked forward and hugged both of them, "thank you for believing in me and for being there" he whispered.

Izuku felt two sets of hands hug him back, and for a minute, they stayed in that hug, under the glow of the moon.

"Well then" Mr Yagi stated, pulling out of the hug, "you best be on your way, the nights not going to last forever" he explained patting Izuku head.

"Oh Mr Yagi's right, we shouldn't keep you any longer" His mother agreed, before her face lit up in realisation, "Oh I almost forgot" she gasped.

She hurried over to her basket, pulling out a short black cloak, and threw it around Izuku shoulders. "To keep you safe, sorry it's not a more bright colour but blacks traditional" she explained, smoothing down the wrinkles.

Izuku looked at the cloak with wide eyes, quickly rubbing the tears away, "this is-" he began.

Suddenly a hat dropped on his head, he tipped it up to see Mr Yagi smiling, "Now you really look like a young Warlock" he stated. Izuku blinked at took off the hat to look at it and felt the tears rush back, as gripped the edge of the Witches hat.

"Thank you, I'll take good of them" Izuku promised with a sniffle.

Inko and Mr Yagi smiled, walking back to give Izuku a little room to take off, "Good luck, Izuku" they both said at the same time.

Izuku inhaled, placing the hat back on his head, and his bag on his shoulders, he set the broom between his legs. Deku took his position between Izuku arms, providing him with an encouraging meow.

Izuku took a deep breath in, and exhaled, feeling like the wind was beginning to blow beneath him. The magic of One for All tingled through his veins, as his feet left the ground, he gave one last smile at his mother and mentor before he shot upwards.

He felt the warm April wind on his face as he flew across the sky on his broom, looking back one last time to see Inko and Mr Yagi waving at him.

He waved back before setting his sights on the green hills ahead, ready for what was going to come his way.

Present Day

Izuku crashed down on to his bed with a tired exhale, he looked at the small pile that filled the corner of his study. Feeling a little pride that he had finished a majority of his task, although he had missed his deadline on wanting no work left by October 1st. But he just couldn't help it, people were coming to him asking to deliver a package or gifts, or food and he always felt so honoured when they did.

But October was a big month for Witches and Warlocks, it's the month where their world was closest to the magic world. During this time Magic users would see a noticeable increase in power, making it the ideal time to test out more complicated spell and potions.

Every Halloween his mother and Him would stay up all night baking, her magic allowing her to make the most amazing treats. Plus October was the only time where he didn't feel like a waste of a good Warlock when his magic would have allowed him to at least be able to fly. But now he had One for All that granted him marvellous potential, that some Witch and Warlocks only got  on  Halloween, and others never.

This month was also the time of year when he wanted to find out more about his power, to be able to finally talk to those ghosts that seem to hang around. But that would never happen if Izuku kept running himself ragged delivering packages, this had to be the last batch.

Izuku sighed again and buried his head into his pillow, Deku came trotting up to his face, curling up in his favourite pillow. "Maybe I can bust out all the small ones today, and then tomorrow I can focus on the big one" he reasoned. "What do you think Deku, ready for another round?" he asked his fluffy cat.

Deku purred loudly in his ear, butting his head against Izuku hair, Izuku laughed, picking up his cat and flipping it upside down. "Alright guess we got packages to deliver" Izuku declared, jumping off his bed and sliding down the ladder to his study.

Izuku held out his hand for his broom, on command, his broom flew across the room into his waiting hand. Deku jumped down from Izuku hold, grabbing a smaller package in his mouth. Izuku smiled follow his familiar lead, packaging all the objects into his basket.

He stopped dead when he looked at a perfectly ordinary package, except for the location named attached to the string. Izuku looked at the words  "PryeBrook"  in loopy leaders, then at the town map on the wall of his study, his eyes roomed across the paper for the street. He felt his face pale when he realised when eyes landed on the other side of the map, to the abject horror he realised " PryeBrook"  wasn't a street.

"Oh no, PryeBrooks the  city  over" Izuku realised looking at the parcel again. Deku meowed worriedly, dropping his box to look at the name tag, "Oh this isn't good, I can't just return it now, but it's so far away" Izuku muttered.

He looked at all the other parcels then back to the one in his head, with a determined huffed he got up and placed that one back down. Deku meowed at him, precisely knowing what Izuku was going to do. "I know, but all these are at least local, and besides, it's October if there's a time magic is at it most effective it now" he rationalised. Izuku attached the largest parcel to his broom, "so you're either with me or not!" he declared to his familiar.

Deku meowed.

"Well jokes on you, I can totally do this myself" Izuku stated, his voice cracking. "I mean, it's the Month of Halloween, I've got the most powerful magic in the world, nothing can stop me" he explained, as he pulled the package attached to his broom across the floor.

As Izuku heaved the packages to the roof landing on his clock tower home, he gave one last look at his familiar. The cat stared at him with a look that was just like his mothers, before delivering what had to be the first time a cat had sighed in defeat.

"I knew you would change your mind" Izuku cooed, watching his cat trot over, jumping up on to Izuku broom stick. Izuku smiled before taking a deep breath in, he felt the magic of One for All light up his veins, then, he jumped off.

He and Deku both screamed as the plummeted down from the landing, only for a few seconds until Izuku got to actually flying.

"See, told you I got this" Izuku breathed heavily, after seeing his life just flashed before his eyes, Deku gave a weak whine, fur on end. "We can totally deliver these packages today, and then tomorrow we can go to PryeBrook!" he yelled happily.

Deku whined just as loudly in response.

Deep in Pryebrook city, a man gave a substantial sigh as he looked over what had to be the most useless drabble he had ever seen. The document was filed with the safest, blandest spells known to man, honestly a shameful mark on all of the art of Witchcraft.

"My god, how the mighty have fallen" Hisashi drawled tiredly. "I mean seriously, this is what their teaching the next generation, the council has lost their minds!" he huffed.

He threw the papers on to his desk leaning back into his chair, "Well I suppose the rise of people using the Dark arts has scared them" Kurogiri stated. "They want the children to stay in one lane so that they can get through their year abroad without tempting fate" he continued, looking calm and collected.

"Of course they are, I don't think the next generation even knows there is such a thing as the dark arts" Hisashi rolled his eyes. He got up from his desk, cracking his fingers as he strolled over to one of many bookshelves in his study.

His fingers roamed the books lined neatly on the shelf, "but Young Tomura will change that, won't he?" Kurogiri asked as if he didn't already know the answer.

Hisashi exhaled, "of course, that's why I raised him" he answered half-heartedly, taking the located book off the shelf. "Though I have to admit it's been rather lonely since Tomura decided to leave the nest" he revealed honestly.

"It has been rather quiet" Kurogiri agreed, the sound of a bell echoed throughout the room. "My apologies, my lord, but it appears the Doctor has needs of my service" he bowed down, Hisashi waved his hand to grant permission.

Kurogiri bowed down once again before leaving the study, closing the double door after him. With the room now thoroughly abandoned by everyone but him, Hisashi put the book back and pulled out another one. He flipped open the book he landed on a picture of Inko, him and Izuku with a tiny kitten in his hands. He felt his familiar, All for one appear around his legs, give a low meow to his master, Hisashi looked down at the cat.

"I suppose you miss your child as well" he hummed leaning against his table, staring at the picture expressionlessly. All for One jumped up on to the table a low purr rumbling outwards, head butting against its' master. "How can you be so attached, we barely know the boy?" Hisashi lamented, flipping over the picture. "We know that if this was how it was going to turn out, we both would have been more careful" he spoke honestly.

All for One meowed lowly, giving a hiss in reply, clearly hitting a nerve, Hisashi rolled his eyes.

"What got you so worked up, hmm, feeling lonely since Tenko left?" Hisashi asked with an offended tone.

All for One rolled his eyes before looking dead into Hisashi eyes, the room filled with magic, the silence fell away to the sound of the wind howling around.

They were in the air, well not them, but someone else was, someone who Hisashi had not heard or seen for a long time.

"We can totally deliver these packages today, and then tomorrow we can go to PryeBrook!" Izuku happily cried out.

That was, no, he couldn't be coming here.

His familiar whined just as loudly in response, the cat looking worse for wear.

Oh, how he has grown up, he can fly now. Wait he wasn't home, was he thirteen already?

"Don't worry, Deku we can do this! Besides, doesn't the big city sound fun?" Izuku voice echoed around.

He called his familiar what? Oh, dear God, help this boy.

"MEOW!"  Deku  replied.

The illusion faded away with the sound of his Familiar meowing in defiance. He exhaled the magic from his lungs, looking down at his smug familiar, Hisashi expression turned thoughtful and then giddy.

"Well then," he started slowly, "I suppose it wouldn't be too late to get to know the boy" Hisashi proposed, leaning closer to his cat. All for one purred rubbing his face against Hisashi nose, making his owner chuckle.

Hisashi looked down at the back of the picture, the words ' Izuku receiving his familiar'   written on the back. "That doesn't sound like such a bad idea at all" he darkly whispered as he scratched his Kurilian Bobtail chin.

Maybe it wasn't too late to change that Cats name either.

Izuku looked at the small parcel with both excitement and anxiety. What was in the package wasn't really what was making him nervous, it was the journey that ahead.

Izuku was more potent with magic than ever, except the delivery was a city over, in a place called Pryebrook. A capital that was known for its bustling streets, sleepless nights and Cafes of all things, but it was also a long way away. Further then he had ever gone since leaving home, he had woken up extra early to ensure that he had time to return before dark.

Deku whined in uncertainty at Izuku, advising him to reconsider. "It will be fine, Deku" he reassured, picking up the parcel and tucking it into the basket attached his broom.

Izuku put on his hat, and took the cloak off the clothes hook, throwing it around his shoulders. Since the weather had gotten colder as Autumn was starting to settle in, the air had considerably cooled down as October was in full swing.

Deku meowed angrily, Izuku just rolled his eyes, snatching the broom, and marching onto the balcony on his home.

"You can come along or stay here, up to you, but  I'm  going" Izuku responded, positioning his broom to fly. Just as planned Deku angrily trotted out, taking his place between Izuku legs, a low growl emitting outwards.

Izuku smiled, quickly scratching the cats head before doing a tiny jump off the terrace, summoning a familiar wind underneath him, to lift him into the sky.

The first thing on his list was to tell Kacchan that he will be gone for a majority of the day. Although he could probably guess how the other Warlock would reply, something crossed between yelling and indifference.

Izuku flew down to the blonds window knocking on the glass, almost immediately, the shutters flew open. "WHAT!" Kacchan yelled, making Izuku wobble on his broom, Kacchan glared at him, "what do you want?" The Warlock snapped.

Izuku took control of his broom, "I was just here to tell you that I'll be gone for the day" he informed. "I'm flying to a city to deliver a package, it's a bit of a journey" Izuku added.

Kacchan rolled his eyes, his kitten jumped up onto the window frame and hissed at the Izuku and Deku. "I don't care, you should be focusing on not falling off your broom" Kacchan scoffed, petting his cat.

"Will try not to" Izuku stated, beginning to fly off, "just wanted to warn you!" he yelled out as he travelled further away.

"Hey, don't fly off when I'm talking!" Kacchan yelled, but Izuku just kept flying east.

Soon Kacchans yelling was wisped away by the wind. Izuku checked the map in his cloak pocket, feeling anxiety starting to bubble up as he looked from his home to his destination.

His eyes wandered to the complete opposite side of the map, PryeBrook was a full three hours away. Not to mention Izuku had never been to the big city before, his mother never liked to go there. All Might had once told him that dangerous Witches and Warlocks lived in big cities, doing things Izuku should never do.

Deku meowed again, a final warning that it wasn't too late to turn back now. Izuku took a deep breath in, exhaling his worries, then scratched his cats head for comfort. "Don't worry, we'll be ok" he reassured his feline, setting off east as fast as his broom could carry him.

None the wiser that he was about to head straight into the arms of trouble.

Hisashi placed the coat over his shoulders, adjusting the cuff of his sleeves, a pleasant hum following him around as he got ready. All for One carefully grooming his white fur, so it was sleek, shiny and spotless.

"You look pleased today, master, is there a reason?" The Doctor asked over his cup of tea, his rat Ujiro munching on a cracker.

"Oh nothing much, my son is coming to town, so I'm paying him a visit" Hisashi responded nonchalantly. Smiling when he heard the sound of tea being spat out and the soft squeak off his familiar fall off the couch.

" What !" The Doctor fumbled off the chair, "you mean the son you haven't seen since he was two?" he asked, picking up the rat and dusting him off.

Hisashi placed the hat on top of his head "that's correct, it's been so lonely without Tomura, so I thought why not" he responded with a shrug. The Doctor blinked a couple of times, Ujiro munching on his cracker like it was popcorn.

"Does he even know who you are?" The Doctor whispered, placing Ujiro on his shoulder.

Hisashi shrugged, "If he doses then we talk, if he doesn't, then we still talk" he smiled throwing a scarf around his neck. "Well I best be going, he will be entering the city limits soon" Hisashi smiled, motioning for All for One to join him as they walked out.

The front door closed behind them with a click, Hisashi breathed in the chilly Autumn air. "Now then" he started, conjuring up magic with his hands, "let's see where my son is?" he crooned with a smirk, looking at his cat.

All for One chirped cheerfully, eye's glowing as they located the boy entering the city limits.

Suddenly something hauntingly familiar stabbed through both their souls, the drum of a power that followed the boy. Hisashi and All for One looked at each other with horrified expressions, at something more terrible then monsters that had entered the city.

"Well," Hisashi spoke lowly, anger in his tone. "It appears that we have a quite lot to talk about after all" he stated darkly, picking up his familiar. All for One growled lowly, "quite a lot indeed" Hisashi repeated before they vanished.

Izuku had long since left his town behind him, being greeted with rolling pastures and livestock for miles. But the sky was clear, and the wind was soft, and he didn't even feel tired, a testament to his strength.

Izuku closed his eyes, feeling the magic flow threw his veins, so much of it was just out of reach. Although he had unlocked a lot of the magic given to him by his teacher, he still had a long way to go. Yet for now, he was just contempt to listen to the magic in his soul, the hum of One for all made him fly simply a little higher.

Deku meowed, making Izuku open his eyes to the view of the city was steadily approaching. Tall building pack tightly together, rising up into the sky, Izuku could already hear the sound of never-ending life echoing from the city.

"Whoa, that's way bigger than ours" Izuku gasped, looking at the tall structures and apartments. Uncertainty filled Izuku gut as he flew above the large city. "I wonder if we should land and walk instead" he mumbled to Deku, "wouldn't want to cause a fuss" he added quietly, remembering when he first came to his new town.

Deku meowed warmly, purring and rubbing against his arm in an attempt to comfort his worries.

Izuku scratched the top of the cats head. "Nah, I'm just being paranoid" he reasoned. However, his broom abruptly dipped down, causing both Deku and himself to shriek in terror. "On second thought maybe I should take a rest" Izuku backtracked, flying his broom down to the city streets.

His feet touch the concrete with a sensation of relief, poor Deku wobbled off of his broom, fur on end. "Sorry" Izuku apologised, picking Deku up and placing the shivering cat on his shoulder.

He glanced up and saw several people staring at him, he smiled, but it only made the folks look away. Glimpsing around at the other citizens showed the same responses, avoiding his gaze and walking in the opposite direction.

'Weird ' he mused, as he roamed through the town. An uneasy feeling started to settle in his guts, with people staring at him like he was up to trouble.

Izuku took out the map, hoping to find the location and high tail it out of the town that seemed to hate him. "I think we're lost?" He mumbled to the cat on his shoulder, Deku meowed in agreement, looking at the paper with a worried expression.

Izuku sighed, lowing the map and looking at the sea of people that seemed very intent at avoiding him. His eyes scanned the shops to see if one of them looked like they could offer guidance, behind him, footstep approached, slow and crisp.

Izuku felt Deku fur brush against his neck, a whine escaping the kitten's throat, he spun around to see an older man with curly white hair.

Izuku felt a familiar presence brush his soul, magic.

'A Warlock!'  Izuku gasped, have to crane his neck up to look at the other Magic-user, he towered over the boy.

The elder looked to be in his thirties, wearing a sharp suit and smiled with a toothy grin, the appearance of the elder Warlock sent a shiver down Izuku spine.

"Not wise to run around town dressed like that little Witch," The Man said lowly, his smile stretching across his face. "People around here don't really like us... magic-users" he explained in a low voice, side-eyeing a couple of citizens.

"Oh!" Izuku gasped, fiddling with his hat. "Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude, I'm merely delivering a package. I promise I'll be gone by the day's end" he explained, pointing to the basket on his broom.

The other Warlock eyes glanced to the container before looked back to the boy, interest visible on his face. His red eyes looked at the boy like he was analysing a piece of art or perhaps stake.

"Also I'm a Warlock" Izuku corrected quietly, making The Man laughed.

"Oh my apologies, I meant no disrespect" The Man chuckled, "Witches, Warlocks their really both the same thing" he smiled down at the boy. "But still my warning stands, these town folks don't really like Witches  or  Warlocks" he emphasised with a flick of his hand and a sharp gaze.

"I kind of noticed" Izuku mumbled, glancing at the town folks who walked passed them like they have the plague. "Why is that?" Izuku asked, focusing his attention on to the older Warlock.

"Just some old feud, along with some magic users causing trouble here" the Magic-user explained with a sigh. "But it's mostly on this side of town, if you go to the other side, it's a different story" he continued, with a casual air and slight gestures.

"Huh, I never have seen a town that  dislikes  magic users" Izuku muttered feeling the stares around him becoming more hostile.

"Such is life, I suppose, people don't like things that are  different " The Man closed his eyes, hand over his heart in sadness. He opened one eye to stare at the boy "Shouldn't you be with your parents?" He asked, leaning down slightly.

"I'm thirteen, I'm studying away from home for a year" Izuku explained, puffing out his chest in pride.  'This man feels like he doesn't really mean what he says,'  Izuku thought, placing Deku on to the ground.

"Oh? Thirteen already hmm, well I hope your year hasn't brought you too much trouble?" The Warlock inquired. "I remember when my dear student left home for his year, he almost didn't want to come back" He chuckled lightly.

"You have a student?" Izuku repeated in astonishment,  'This guy's a mentor like Mr Yagi, what are the odds I run into him'   he mused lightly.

"Indeed I do, his name is Tomura" The Man smiled at the name, "Though he has flown out of the nest this year, off to see the world" The Man explained wistfully.

"You must be proud then, Mr..." Izuku presented, waiting for The Man to fill in his name.

"Shigaraki"

"Mr Shigaraki, I have a teacher as well, taught me a lot before I left" Izuku reminisced with a smile. Which dropped a bit when he saw Mr Shigaraki smile twitch a little in disgust, but it quickly vanished.

"Do you now. How interesting?" He responded lightly, hiding something behind a toothy smile. "I have to admit it has been a little lonely around here without him" Mr Shigaraki lamented. "The city has never felt so silent" he added, looking down at the boy.

"Oh, do you live here?" Izuku gasped, Mr Shigaraki nodded. "Do you think you could you help me find my way around?" Izuku hopefully asked. "I just need to find a house" he continued, showing the map to the Warlock "25th Cornwall street" he added.

"I'm sure I can be of service," Mr Shigaraki replied, taking the map from him.

Izuku heard Deku give a low rumbled, he looked down to see a large, white Kurilian Bobtail happily sniffing at his own. Deku had his fur puffed on end to show dominance, but the other cat just purred loudly batting at the kittens head playfully.

"Hey, we both have the same type of familiar, what are the odds?" Izuku commented crouching down to pat Deku head. "Be nice, Mr Shigaraki is trying to help us out" he scolded his kitten, who meowed begrudgingly.

"What are the odds indeed" he mumbled distinctly, "what his name?" Mr Shigaraki asked more clearly, sparing a glance from the map.

Izuku held his hand out for the familiar to sniff, yet, the cat completely ignored that going straight to rubbing his face all over Izuku chest. "My familiar's name is Deku!" Izuku responded proudly, taking the kitten into his arm to stop him from biting the other feline.

"...Really?" Mr Shigaraki retorted, with a pained expression "that sounds like a rather unfortunate name" he added, lowering the map a bit.

"Oh no, it has another meaning" Izuku hurriedly explained "it was an insult when I was little" he mumbled, patting Deku head. "But we decided to go with it because it means something different to us, right Deku?" he chirped, the cat giving a happy mew in reply.

"Oh" The Man replied simply.

"So what's your familiar name?" Izuku questioned, putting down Deku since the other Kurilian Bobtail seemed to like his kitten.

"His name is All for One" Mr Shigaraki preened pridefully, watching his feline fawn over Deku.

Izuku blinked, "That's a sentence" he responded, standing up.

Mr Shigaraki levelled him with a look, "Deku means blockhead, I don't think your one to judge" he refuted simply, his cat cooed.

"It actually means one who can" Izuku muttered shyly, fiddling with his broom.

Mr Shigaraki shrugged broad shoulders, focusing his attention on to the map. "It seems you're way off course" he finally responded, handing the paper to Izuku. "It's on the other side of the city, it'll take you 30 minutes to get from here to there, but if you're walking that's going take longer" Mr Shigaraki explained. "You go south for about a mile, and then take a turn at Coven street, after that, you take a right, stay three streets, then a left for five streets" he articulated perfectly. "Then you should be there, not too hard" The Man smiled pleasantly.

Izuku blinked. 'There is no way I'm going to remember that ' he internally groaned.

"Guess I better start walking" Izuku mumbled, "thanks for the help, I shouldn't hold you up" he announced shyly.

"Of course" The older Warlock replied, scanning Izuku up and down once again. All for one gave a meow at his owner, just as Deku crawled up Izuku to rest on his shoulder, tail swishing back and forth.

"It was nice meeting you!" Izuku chirped, walking away from the older Warlock. He looked down map in his hands, sensing the confusion already setting in his mind, but he didn't want to trouble The Man anymore then he had.

However, Izuku hardly got five steps away before Mr Shigaraki caught him by the shoulder. "My apologies, but it's a big city, why don't I guide you to where it is?" He offered, flooring Izuku with relief.

"Really?" Izuku beamed, quickly covering his mouth and apologising.

"My pleasure" The older Warlock affirmed. "Besides, it's not particularly safe to travel alone" he stated lowly, side-eyeing a few people giving them dirty looks.

Izuku looked around the people again, feel a foreboding sense of danger creep up his spine. "Yeah, I guess I wasn't as prepared as I thought, didn't expect the  hate " he confessed.

Mr Shigaraki scoffed a little, "hates an understatement" he grumbled, resting his hand on Izuku shoulder, forcing Deku off. "But don't worry, they won't hurt you if you stick close to me" he reassured, beginning to walk.

"Thanks', it helps to be around someone who knows what they are doing" Izuku appreciated. He gripped his broom tighter, letting Mr Shigaraki guide him down the street, feeling the stares of distrust lose their power.

"By the way, young man, I don't think I got your name?" He asked with a cheeky smile.

"Ah, sorry!" Izuku apologised feeling his face go red, "My names Izuku Midoriya" He stuttered out.

Deku gave a hiss below them, they both looked down to see the All for One trotting along while holding Izukus Kitten by the scruff of the neck. While All for One looked like the cat who got the cream, Deku looked close to murdering something.

"Looks like someone already grown attached" Mr Shigaraki, Izuku giggled at the familiar's antics.

However, Izuku had to note that the two cats looked eerily similar in shape and appearance, Deku looked like a smaller green version of All for One.

"Looks like Deku isn't so attached though" Izuku commented, smiling as Deku glared at him. "Thank you for helping us out Mr Shigaraki, it's much appreciated" he thanked again with a short bow of his head.

"Well, aren't you well mannered" Mr Shigaraki chucked, "it's really no problem at all, so where do you live, Izuku?" He asked.

'Weird that he called me by my first name'   Izuku thought, but quickly dismissed it.

"Oh I live in a town not far from here, it's called Green-Field, it's the next town over" Izuku explained, happily talking away about his little home in the mountains.

Mr Shigaraki chatted along, happily listening to the boy ramble on, about his home and training.

Hisashi waved the boy off, his grin falling away when Izuku disappeared over the horizon. The whole talk had been rather interesting,  The boy rambling on about his home, his delivery service and his mother and mentor. It took everything in his power no to destroy the block when the boy waxed poetry about his enemy.

But the boy didn't even know who he was, he didn't recognise that Hisashi was the sworn enemy of his power, or that he was his father. It was a favourable outcome, he could start with a clean slate, he could manipulate the boy.

All for One was purring like mad, ignoring the occasional scratch mark, "I don't think your kitten likes you" Hisashi chuckled. All for One meowed indigently, giving off a huff as he trotted away. "I'm just telling the truth" he confessed, not that it helped.

All for One rolled his eyes before they continued purring.

"I guess it was nice to see them again," Hisashi said honestly, pulling out the paper with the boy's phone number on it. "You know I think we should get to know the boy more?" He suggested a portal opening in front of them.

All for One meowed mischievously.

"Yes, that would be a good idea" Hisashi chuckled as they entered threw the portal, into the study. "It has been awfully lonely without Tomura around" Hisashi fake sighed, picking up his familiar.

All for One purred, Hisashi chuckled, "Yes, I suppose we could use another kitten around the house" he proposed.

A ring of dark laughter echoed around the house.

To say Izuku didn't start wondering over to PryeBrook just to see Mr Shigaraki repeatedly, would be a massive lie. Over the past month, Izuku had taken every opportunity to see The Man, enjoying the elder Warlocks company and lessons.

Sure he was odd, and could sometimes have an aura of death around him, but, Mr Shigaraki was never cruel to him. He always had the most fascinating spell that Izuku had never heard off. Mr Shigaraki would meet him at the entrance of his city, they would say hello, chat for a bit and Izuku would leave with a new spell under his belt.

"So how did you learn all this stuff anyway?" Izuku asked one day "not even my master knows about these types of spells," sitting on top of a roof of a building. On the side, Deku and All for One were curled up sleeping peacefully together. Although All for One had practically dragged poor Deku away and started cleaning the kitten much to the feline anger the minute they had settled down.

"I've been around, I spent most of my life gathering knowledge of the art of witchcraft" Mr Shigaraki explained, magic floating around Izuku and his hands. "But at some point, I realised that I need to give my knowledge to another, which is why I took on Tomura an apprentice" he concluded finishing the spell off as well.

"Wow, so you're like a scholar?" Izuku inquired, repeating the spell with his own hands.

"Something like that" Mr Shigaraki replied with a shrug, "Now focus on making the light move across the air" he explained, Izuku nodded all attention on the spell.

It worked for the first part, lights danced around his hands, but it started to fall apart in the middle, Mr Shigaraki having to help correct his magic. Mr Shigaraki showed the hand movement once again, Izuku repeated them finishing off the spell with a wisp of light. Izuku did the spell one more time, hands moving through the air as he felt magic like none other, courses through his veins. All the magic Mr Shigaraki taught Izuku always had a strange feeling as if he had been caught with the hand in the cookie tin.

The spell finished with a wisp of light, and Mr Shigaraki gave a clapped, "well done, you do learn fast little one" he praised making Izuku blush.

"Thank you, you're a really great teacher, Sir" Izuku responded with a red smile.

"Oh, I'm not replacing your old one, am I?" Mr Shigaraki implied with a mischievous grin.

The question made Izuku frown.

Well, Mr Yagi had been nothing but encouragement and always talking about going beyond, Mr Shigaraki was more subtle analytical in how he taught. But Mr Shigaraki was cold and well trained, Mr Yagi was eternally warm and fumbled around teaching. They were polar opposites in nearly every way.

"What, of course not" Izuku reassured, "Don't get me wrong I'm really grateful for everything you're teaching me, he hurriedly clarified. "But without Mr Yagi, I don't think I would have ever been able to go on my Year aboard" Izuku remembered the day he got given One for All. "He gave me so much to make sure I could sit here and learn these spells with you" he concluded with a tight nod.

"...Sound like you hold him in... high regards" Mr Shigaraki stated flatly, getting up from his spot on the roof. "Why is  he  the reason you're able to go on this trip anyway?" Mr Shigaraki queried distantly.

Izuku froze, he couldn't just tell this guy that he had a power passed down to him by Mr Yagi. "Oh, um, well... He taught me how to do a bunch of things... To um, access my power better, haha" Izuku rambled out. Using the cat's as an excuse to not talk about his training, he gently woke up Deku and All for One from their nap, his familiar jumping out of the other hold.

"Sounds like a  good man"  Mr Shigaraki muttered lowly, picking up his own familiar.

Izuku nodded "I think I might get a drink before I leave, this place has the best coffee" he suggested, looking over at Mr Shigaraki. The Warlock had locked eyes with his cat and seemed to be having a conversation with the animal.

Deku meowed asking to be picked up, Izuku complied, holding Deku in his arm as he walked closer to Shigaraki. The Warlock looked at Izuku with cold eyes, looking deep in thought, his cat pawing at this coat, Deku meowed again making Mr Shigaraki eyes flicked down at the cat.

"Mr Shigaraki, are you ok?" Izuku hesitantly asked.

Mr Shigaraki eyes soften, a smile formed across his face as nothing had happened.

"Sorry, Izuku I just got lost in thoughts" Mr Shigaraki laughed, walking past him and down the stairs. "I'm also rather parched, let's get a drink, there a cafe owned by a Witch around here" he rambled scratching his cat's chin.

"That sounds great" Izuku replied, patting Deku as they walked on, All for One meowed at Deku to come over, but the green cat poked his tongue out.

"Oh shush you" Mr Shigaraki tsked, flipping his cat onto its belly, Deku gave a happy purr as All for One growled lowly, Izuku snorted.

"Got any plans for Halloween?" Mr Shigaraki asked as the rounded a corner.

Izuku perked up "yeah since I have no deliveries, I was thinking of practising a new type magic" He gushed out.

He wanted to try and talk to the ghost of the previous uses, they had been more active recently, he had even gotten to see one. But they hadn't been able to talk to Izuku just yet. He was hoping on Halloween night since the world of the living, and the dead, were so close together he might be able to converse with one.

"Ohh I'm intrigued~" Mr Shigaraki purred before tapping the top of Izuku head, tearing him out of his thoughts. He pointed up at the list of drinking in the gothic-looking Cafe, "Which one would you like?" He asked.

"Oh, I think I'll have a Mocha with a cup of cream, please" Izuku responded to the barista, sheepishly pulling out his wallet to pay.

"Don't worry I'll pay" Mr Shigaraki assured, "just hold this" he added placing All for One into the boy's arms.

"Oh, Thank you" Izuku replied Deku growling lowly as All for One purred happily in his arms.

Soon the Duo found themselves seated at a table, both sipping their beverages. "So you looking to summon a ghost humm?" Mr Shigaraki asked lowly, stroking All for one with large hands.

Izuku sipped his drink, "I am" Izuku replied, "I really want to since it's Halloween, it would be the best time to" He confessed. Deku was happily lapping up his cup of whip cream when All for one decided to get off his owner to have a taste.

"I suppose, but beware it can be rather dangerous" Mr Shigaraki warned taking a sip of his coffee. "Halloween is when us magic users are at their fullest potential, it an extraordinarily important night" he explained, waving his spoon around. "You'll be playing with fire, if your not careful and could very easily get hurt" Mr Shigaraki concluded worridly.

Izuku blinked, he had read a lot of books about summoning someone from the dead, and they all made it sound so simple. But he was asking for someone to cross over into his world for a chat, logically a lot could go wrong. All he had to summon them by was his magical power rather than an item, and if Mr Shigaraki was saying it could be dangerous.

"I've done a lot of research on summoning rituals" Izuku defend stirring his hot Mocha drink around. "But I'll admit that I've never done something like this before" He laughed nervously. "My mother and I used to just bake on that day so we could hand out the goods at a festival" he admitted.

'I always did feel that those baked cakes tasted the best for that festival'  Izuku remembered.  'Maybe I should bake something on that day as well, I've gotten way better at potions'  he thought with a smile.

Deku meowed, batting at All for One's head as the cat licked away at the cream, ignoring Dekus cries of anguish. Izuku signed as his cat turned to him for help, he took the rest of the cream from All for One and halved it on to a plate.

"If that the case, then why don't you come over to my place" Mr Shigaraki invited, Izuku looked up in surprise. "I'm holding a bit of a gathering on Halloween for others to perform their desired spells" he explained with a smile.

"A gathering?" Izuku repeated.

"Indeed, perhaps it could help you reach your goal" Mr Shigaraki smiled wider, his eyes crinkling with untold delight.

Hisashi closed the doors to his study, fingers drumming the handle with joy.

'Oh, this was going to almost too easy' he thought with a chuckle.

All for One meowed harshly.

"Oh shush you" Hisashi snapped, walking over to the bookshelves. "I can get  guests to fake a gathering, all we need is for Izuku to believe it's real" he assured his familiar.

He plucked out a book from the shelf, flipping the pages over until he found the spell he so desired. "We both know who he is trying to summon, so if I get this right, I could have both my brother  and  my son in my grasp" Hisashi gloated.

All for One meowed again.

"And of course your kitten as well" he laughed, "after all, they're a package deal" he motioned to show their bond. "Now, we just need something to make sure he stays?" Hisashi hummed, placing the open book on his desk.

All for One purred, jumping up on the desk, after settling down his familiar's eyes glowed a bright red. In a slosh of liquid, a small purple vile appeared on the desk, making Hisashi grin in pride.

"Oh All for One, you're so clever" he praised, picking up the vile with his fingers. "That boy is never going to leave, not unless we say so, this place is going to be a full house again" he declared.

All for One meowed in agreement, bumping his head against Hisashi hand, demanding pats which Hisashi gave.

Hisashi held up the potion of chains, designed to make sure that troubling little boy's stay exactly where he wants them to be.

If Izuku had, to be honest, he would admit that gatherings were somewhat of unfamiliar territory to him. Music, dancing and conversing wasn't something he had a lot of experience with.

But it wasn't something he hated either. However, since Mr Shigaraki had offed an invitation, and to help conjurer a dead spirit, Izuku wasn't in any position to decline. What Mr Shigaraki had told him was vague at best, that it was a gathering between some of his friends, and that Izuku had to bring something.

"What kind of gift?" Izuku asked, flying on his broom, above Mr Shigaraki.

Mr Shigaraki hummed, "You said your mother and you baked right, bring a cake or something" he answered.

Izuku signed as lightly dusted the top of the tiramisu with powdered cocoa, hopeful hiding any mistakes he had done along the way. A call to his mother asking for a recipe to make that should hopefully be a fine gift got the cake in front of him.

"A gathering?" His mother had said over the phone, voice the same confusion Izuku had.

"Yeah, A teacher of mine hosts one on Halloween because it the night with the strongest magic" Izuku repeated, twirling the cord around his finger.

"Well, although I'm happy you're getting help, I'm more surprised you be asked to a gathering of all things" Inko explained with a worried tone.

"Mum, come on Mr Shigaraki is a good person" Izuku whined, even though the man could be intimidating at times.

"I know, I know, just be safe Ok Izuku," His mother asked, he could hear the smile in her voice.

"Don't worry mum I'll be fine" Izuku promised, placing the phone between his ear and shoulder. "So what should I make?" he asked, pen and paper demanding to be written on.

"Hmm" his mother hummed, she had a distinct tone the same she had when she was deep in thoughts. "You know your father used to have a lot of gatherings," she said quietly, not quite fond but still a hint of a better time.

"Oh?" Izuku replied awkwardly, not even remembering his father.

"Yes," she said sadly, "but the one thing I used to make for those was tiramisu, they were always a hit" she explained with a brighter tone.

"Tiramisu?" Izuku repeated, writing down the word, "is it complicated?" he asked.

"Well, it got some layers to it, but I think you can do it Izuku" His mother encouraged "Now listen carefully here what you need to do".

'Now if only I could find something to wear'  he thought, placing the cake in the fridge.  'It' not like I brought anything fancy, I could use Mums cloak, but All Might hat might be rude'  his thoughts continued to swirl around as the feeling worry grew in his stomach.

An hour later, he heard a knock on his door, he opened it and found Mr Shigaraki standing there with his trademark toothy smile and Familiar. All for One was laying in his arms, giving off a smug aura, they both looked very presentable.

"Hi, Mr Shigaraki" Izuku greeted, opening the door wider, "wanna come in?" He asked.

Mr Shigaraki grinned, "of course" he thanked stepping into Izuku home, "What a lovely place you have" Mr Shigaraki commented, "although a bit small" he added.

"Oh yeah, this place used to a maintenance room for the clock, but I turned it into a living room since it was already attached to the bedroom" Izuku explained.

"Where do you practise magic then?" Mr Shigaraki asked, settling down in a chair, as Izuku hurried around.

"My study is in the other room, A friend helped build a landing above the office for a bed," Izuku told, revealing the room. He put his cloak over his shoulders only being able to find a button-up white shirt that wasn't even long-sleeved and some nice looking jeans.

"Is this Ok?" Izuku claimed, pulling at the coat, "I don't go to these things often...well actually never" he admitted honestly.

"You look fine" Mr Shigaraki stated with a fond eye roll at the younger Warlocks worries. "Besides everyone I know wears black anyway, you'll fit right in" he added, stroking his cat.

"Sorry, I just don't want to disappoint" Izuku apologised, taking the tiramisu out of his fridge.

"Oh, What did you make?" Mr Shigaraki asked as Izuku put the cake in a box.

Izuku blushed, "I called my mum, and she said to make something called a tiramisu" he responded, walking over.

"A tiramisu, hmm" Mr Shigaraki hummed, deep in thought. "I haven't had one of those in ages, aren't you so considerate" he praised, making Izuku beam more.

Deku gave an urgent meow butting Izuku leg, he looked up at the clock and winced, "We better get going" he told Mr Shigaraki.

"I suppose we should, if you don't mind, I was hoping to take another mode of transportation?" Mr Shigaraki offered, getting up off the chair.

"Really, well I just thought we were going to fly there, but I'm open to another route" Izuku responded holding the cake in his hands. "I have a landing on which I tend to jump off of for deliveries" he added motioning to the landing.

"My, you really are a delivery boy" Mr Shigaraki chuckled, placing All for One on the ground. "Sound like you really put thought into everything, even though it's only for the year" he pointed out.

"Ha, yeah I think it was a type of exit and entry point, I just got rid of the guard rails" Izuku laughed, opening the door to the stairwell. "Mum always said it good to have a nice home, even if it temporary" he added as the both walked down to the street.

"You mention your mother a lot, what about your father?" Mr Shigaraki asked wind slightly blowing his hair. Izuku closed the door and let the words roll over him.

His throat felt dry, part of him wondered if he should just lie and say his dad just work overseas. However, he also knew that it wasn't right to lie to Mr Shigaraki, who had been so helpful, he supposes it didn't really matter in the end.

"Well, to be honest, my dad kinda left and didn't come back" Izuku revealed not looking Mr Shigaraki in the eye. "I don't really know what he's like or what he even looked like" he added with a sigh, walking down the street.

"...Oh," Mr Shigaraki said after a minute.

"Yeah, I know Mr Yagi isn't, but he's been more of a dad to me than my own father." Izuku smiled at all the found head ruffles, encouraging word and the dinners they all shared during his training.

"Well, I'm sure your father had-" Mr Shigaraki started.

"OI NERD!" A loud voice boomed from behind, both turned around to see the explosive blond hurling towards him. "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING" Kacchan demanded stopping just short of crashing into them.

"Oh, hi Kacchan I'm heading out for the night, sorry I didn't tell you," Izuku told shakily, with an awkward wave. "Oh This is Mr Shigaraki, he's a friend-" Izuku began.

"Like I give a damn, where the hell are you going?" Kacchan asked again inching closer, Lord Explosion Murder gave a low growl.

"Does it matter, Child" Mr Shigaraki voice was cold, walking in between them, towering over Kacchan. "Don't you see where heading somewhere, awfully rude to be yelling like that?" He mocked, making Kacchan step back a bit.

"Who the fuck are you" Kacchan managed out slightly unsettled, his kitten hissed.

"Weren't you listening? My names Mr Shigaraki" he monotoned, All for One hissed back at Kacchan cat. "And we have a place to be so run along, Child" he stated turning around and ushering Izuku away.

"Hey! Don't tell me what to do!" Kacchan yelled, yet didn't move from his spot. "Get back here, weirdo!" He screamed, red in the face.

Izuku looked back and forth between the two, "Kacchan, I'm just going to a gathering I was invited to, I'll explain later Ok?" he hurried out, following Mr Shigaraki.

Kacchan hanged there dumbfounded, but in the end, he walked away grumbling.

"Sorry about Kacchan, he can get a little..." Izuku gestured hoping The Man would get the picture.

"Why is there another Warlock in this town, isn't the rule that you have to spend it alone?" Mr Shiagarki asked instead, checking his pocket watch.

"Uhhhhh" Izuku drawled with a wince, "it's a long story" he signed with a small smile.

"you can tell me later than" Mr Shigaraki promised, with a grin, he stopped walking forward. "Alright now it may feel a tad strange but don't worry Kurogiri is very nice" He promised.

"What?" was all Izuku could get out before he suddenly felt the ground shift below him. Mr Shigaraki arm tightened around his shoulder, as All for One took Deku by the scruff, Izuku and Deku yelled as the fell thought the portal.

"You can open your eyes now" Mr Shigaraki chuckled.

Izuku opened his eyes and gasped "Whoa!" he exclaimed, looking at a large house, it looked old but well kept. "That's where you live, it huge," he said in astonishment, as walked down into the driveway.

"I've had to say I'm rather well off" Mr Shigaraki replied with a smug smile. "Years of hard work, and trying to get where I am" he chirped.

Deku was sniffing the air, running eagerly around Izuku legs, as the pair walked closer to the main door, '"oh, so now your excited" Izuku tsked. All for One meowed at the kitten, but in true rebellious fashion, Deku ignored him.

At the door a man with purple hair and yellow eyes greeted them, from first glance, Izuku wondered if this man was a butler from some sorts. "I hope it wasn't too much of a hassle, My lord" the man spoke lowly and professionally.

Izuku looked down at his clothes, then Mr Shigaraki, and then back to the butler's clothes and felt very out of place. He was glad his mother's cloak hid a majority of his outfit and thanks to the stars that black was traditional.

"None at all Kurogiri" Mr Shigaraki assured, placing a hand on Izuku shoulder. "Izuku this is Kurogiri he's an employee of mine" he introduced turning to the man, "Kurogiri this is Izuku Midoriya, a bit of a student of mine".

"Thanks for having me" Izuku answered automatically holding out the box with the tiramisu. "Mr Shigaraki told me to bring something, so I brought a cake if that alright?" he continued swallowing his nerves.

Kurogiri looked between the boy and the cake with a sense of astonishment, he looked over at Mr Shigaraki gave a smile   at the butler.

'Oh god why did I bring a cake of all things, I should have brought something like wine or something, surely I could have gotten a bottle'  Izuku mind rambled.

"How considerate of you, I'll put it in the fridge" Kurogiri replied, taking the cake from Izuku hands. "Do come in it is a bit cold outside this Halloween" Kurogiri unshed them in taking Mr Shigaraki coat.

Kurogiri motioned to take his cloak, but Izuku declined, "I think I'll keep it on if that alright with you?" Izuku decided, Kurogiri didn't push.

Izuku followed Mr Shigaraki down into the ornate hall, filled with paintings of environments. Funny enough none of them had any people in them, at the end of the hall Izuku could light chatter from the guests, as well as the clinking of glasses.

There was a feeling of something crushing his soul, there was too much pressure of an invisible force, one he felt when he first met Mr Shigaraki. Everyone in the room seemed rather fake, chatting was overly happy, smiles seem plastered on, it seemed like they weren't really there.

But he also felt magic and a lot of it, the night must have been enhancing their aura.

"I sorry Izuku but I have to leave to go do something real quick" he apologised, leaning down. "But you can mingle with the guest if you like" Mr Shigaraki invited, giving Izuku two pats on the back.

"Oh, Um ok will do" Izuku stuttered out walking shyly into the room, Mr Shigaraki disappearing, but All for One staying with Deku and him. Izuku could see a couple of guests smiled widely at the boy, Izuku gulped, feeling out of place.

Deku meowed lowly, staying next to Izuku, tail between his legs, All for One just purred happily, licking the Kittens head.

'I should have stayed home'  Izuku thought as he made his way to the drinks table.

"Ugh, what a spoiled child" Hisashi stated in disgust, finishing the last touches on the capture circle.

"I'm surprised he's sharing a town with another Warlock" the Doctor huffed, "isn't that against tradition?" he asked, as Hisashi put the mat over the circle.

"Yes but I suppose there was a mix up of some sort, no matter after tonight Bakugou can have the whole place to himself" Hisashi stated with a wicked smile. Placing the cake in the corner of the room, under a towel to hide it from view, it is the thing that would capture Izuku after all.

He picked up a bottle filled with purple liquid, swishing the contents around in its prison.  'To think it's been so long since I last saw him, what are the odds he comes falling back into my grasp, my brother as well'  he hummed.

"Though Master, he doesn't seem to hold you in high regards" the Doctor cut through his musings, "If anything it looks like he's replaced you" he added.

Hisashi slammed the vile down, making the Doctor jump. "I know we have a strained  relationship,  but I can promise you this, Doctor, that will change tonight" he declared.

Ujiro squeaked darting to hind in the Doctor's coat.

Hisashi chuckled, walking down the hall with the Doctor in tow, "This will be a Halloween that no one will forget" he chuckled darkly.

"Well here we are little one" Mr Shigaraki motioned to the grand room, Izuku gasped looking around to at the wooden panelling and high ceilings. "Much bigger then your place, isn't it?" He chuckled rhetorically, moving to pick up some salt.

"Yeah, I suppose it is" Izuku laughed nervously, a growing pit in his stomach ever since he had walked through the front doors. "So, I've got a summoning circle needed for the type of spirit I want, as well as there item" he explained.

The item he brought wasn't actually going to work, since he didn't have anything of a ghosts that had lived over a century ago. But what was going to summon a Ghost was Izuku magical power, there were seven to choose from surely one would answer.

Izuku showed the pattern to Mr Shigaraki who hummed, checking the writing. "Seems rather straight forward, salt's the best thing to use for this, little one because it can be blown away in case something goes wrong" he described. Picking up a much too small jar of salt and handing it to Izuku "Best to do it on the Mat, just so it can be cleaned up afterwards" he added, gesturing to the barren mat.

"That does make sense" Izuku mumbled out looking at the salt with uncertainty, "I don't think this will be enough" he stated, shaking the glass.

Mr Shigaraki smiled, "Normally no, but it's enchanted, so it never will run out" he revealed, "give it a try" he urged.

Izuku gulped before smiling, he then started to pour the salt out of the jar, to his surprise no matter how much he poured out the salt never ended. "Wow, this is pretty cool" Izuku forced out, but his heart wasn't in it anymore, something didn't feel right.

"I'll make sure to teach you it another day" Mr Shigaraki beamed, but something was off about it. "Now then, are you done?" He asked, creaking his head to the side, All for One positioned just beside him, looking smug.

"Oh, yeah, I'm done!" Izuku stuttered out, sweat dripping down his neck, "Um once I've summoned them, can I have so alone time, please?" He asked. Hopefully, the Elder Warlock would let him, after all, he didn't need for that part of the summoning, Mr Shigaraki smile twitched a bit.

"Of course, but you should summon him first" He chuckled warmly, but not in a way that reached his eyes. Izuku nodded looking down at Deku, the cat gave a low whine before positioning himself between Izuku's legs.

"Yes, I suppose I should start" Izuku responded, holding his hands out and letting the magic flow across his palm. His eyes glowed a pale green as lighting danced around his skin, the words fell from his lips commanding the circle to deliver its promise.

The circle glowed a light purple, Izuku waited for the ghost to rise gracefully out of the ring. Instead, a white hair man shot out banging hands on the edge of the barrier.

"NINE, YOU NEED TO RUN!" He screamed, frightening Izuku enough to fall back. "HE'S TRICKING YOU, RUN" the ghost cried out.

'He's tricking you?' Izuku repeated, feeling his eyes widen at what the ghost implied, 'Mr Shigaraki, I knew something was wrong'! He thought. Izuku turned around seeing The Man with a wicked grin on his face, bring his hands down to the ground.

Izuku stumbled up, trying to bolt out of the room before it was too late, only to have the ground beneath him light up. "Sorry, My son but you're not leaving tonight," Mr Shigaraki said lowly, All for One behind him growled wildly.

'Wait did he say-!'  Izuku felt his lungs constrict, the mat underneath him burned away to show a red ring painted underneath him.

Izuku and Deku smacked into something hard and invisible, "What the..." he huffed, touching the barrier. "What what do you mean, son!?" Izuku yelled, pounding his hands on the wall.

"I had to use something made from you to keep you in the circle" Mr Shigaraki stated, ignoring Izuku cries. "Who would have guessed you make tiramisu?" He chuckled, "Inko always made those as well, always used magic to make them" he reminisced.

"BROTHER, LET HIM GO!" the ghost yelled, trying to break the seal in his own circle.

"My apologies Son, little brother, but both of you won't be leaving tonight" Mr Shigaraki stated coolly. He stepped up to the edge of the ring, holding both Izuku, Deku and the ghost, "I was surprised that you both came back to me" he smiled wistfully.

"I'm not your son!" Izuku yelled at him, Deku hissed at All for One, who form had grown more monstrous.

"Yes, you are" He snapped, smiling falling away. "Your father's name is Hisashi, I left when you were two, you had weak magic, but got given One for All by Toshinori Yagi" The monster exposed.

"How do you..." Izuku shook in shock at him knowing about One for All, "I don't believe you!" He barked, conjuring magic.

Mr Shigaraki or Hisashi dug into his pocket and brought out two items, one was a vile full of purple liquid the other was a photograph.

Izuku stopped struggling when he looked at the picture, his heart beating in his chest frantically. It was a picture of a two-year-old Izuku holding Deku for the first time, it was a photo his mum had framed on the wall. But unlike the picture in her house, which had a noticeable gap on the side, this one had Mr Shigaraki smiling his hands around his mum shoulder. The other hand was holding All for One, who was sniffing the kitten alongside his mum familiar.

"Nine, don't listen to him!" The ghost whispered, lighting banging on the forcefield.

"I'm sorry, I've been gone for so long, Izuku" Hisashi apologised, flipping the picture over to reveal his mums loopy handwriting. "But I had a duty to do, but I promise, we are going to sit down and have a nice chat about this whole thing" he declared.

"No, that's... how" Izuku couldn't force the words out, 'I trusted him'  he thought as tears rolled down his cheek.

Hisashi opened the bottle, preparing to pour it into the circle, effectively binding Izuku and the Ghost to the house. "Don't worry, we are all going to be one big happy family, just you wait?" he told them his voice cold and distant.

"BROTHER, DON"T DO THIS!" The ghost pleaded.

"NO" Izuku screamed, watching the liquid fall out of the jar, banging helplessly on the barrier.

Suddenly Izuku cloak started humming with magic, line of spells glowed all over the fabric. With a loud bang, the magic flew out of the coat, shattering the barrier, blowing away the salt, making the ghost fall out of their world.

Hisashi and All for One flew back, hitting the wall with a groan, Izuku took this chance to pick up Deku and sprint out the door.

He bolted down the hallway, panting like a dog as his eyes flickered wildly around for a way to escape. He skidded to a stop at the main living room to see everyone chatting like nothing was happening, Izuku reached out to one of them. "Help! Mr Shigaraki is trying to-" his hand touched the person, only for the skin to feel oily and and squishy. The person looked at him smiling, their face melting, revealing them to be nothing more than a walking paint blob.

Izuku screamed as the arm fell off, he fled from the room as the rest of the ' guests ' started to fall apart. He looked around at the other doors trying to find an exit but had to quickly jump away when a purple mist nearly engulfed him.

"Izuku, where are you?" Hisashi voice rang out, "don't be difficult, son" he growled. Izuku continued running down the hall, the paintings showing the guest all pointing to him, they were showing Hisashi his location, he was trapped.

Deku meowed, tearing Izuku attention away from the echoing voice of a monster. The feline pointed a paw at an old janitors broom, tuck in the corner "Deku you're a lifesaver" he rushed out, snatching the broom off the wall.

He looked down the hall to see a window to the outside.

"Now Izuku" Hisashi spoke lowly, Izuku turned to see him at the end of the hall. All for One looking more like a demon then the typical house cat, almost the same height as his master. "Be a good boy and Come. Back. Here " Hisashi called out, lifting his hand up to spray large tentacle out of his finger.

Izuku threw Deku on to his shoulder and jumped on the broom, before summoning his magic to propel him forward. The strings were closing on to him as he flew closer to the window.

He reached his hand out.

The window shattered, under his magic.

A tentacle just caught his shirt.

But Izuku flew out into the night, his heart thumping as he felt joy course through his veins.

Until he heard the cry of Deku from behind him, he stopped, turning around to see Hisashi holding Deku in his hands. The kitten was hissing and squirming around in the warlocks' hold, fighting back with all his strength.

"DEKU" Izuku cried, moving closer.

"Now Izuku, I'm not going to hurt him" Hisashi assured, unfazed by the feline's claws. "Not if you be a good child, and come back" He demanded squeezing the kitten a bit.

All for One growled lowly at his master, Hisashi patted the creatures head. Izuku looked between Hisashi and Deku, feeling like he was going to throw up from anxiety.

"Well?" Hisashi asked.

Izuku felt all determination he had, fall away from the cries emitting from Deku.

His shoulders drop, his teeth clenched as tears of shame fell down his face, with a defeated sigh, he slowly flew back down to the man.

Notes:

I wanted to write an ending were Bakugou ended up finding them and helped Izuku and Deku escape but this was already so long. So think of that as unofficial ending.

Hope you enjoyed, make sure to leave a Kudo and comments make me smile, (and maybe write seconded chapter).
