It was just a simple promise between children far too young to understand the implications and responsibility the words will bring in the future, a silly thing children do that would be forgotten when they reach adulthood, or so it was supposed to be. Instead, the promise was kept in his heart with the hope that it would turn into a reality, regardless of what would happen.
