“That’s a lot of pocky, good day at work?”
Atsushi was smiling as he was holding a box of them while relaxing on the couch. It was just some time in the late afternoon when he came over to Chuuya’s place to spend the night. “Yep~ For once, things felt very peaceful! In fact, the president let us leave work early today!”
Chuuya smiled as he moved to sit down next to Atsushi. “Hmm? Well, it’s good to enjoy the day while it lasts.” He did his own work ahead of time which was why he was around so early. “Can I have one?”
“Hm? Oh sure.” Atsushi took a stick out of the box to give to Chuuya, only to freeze up in surprise when Chuuya started nibbling on the stick that was between Atsushi’s fingers.
When he ate the whole stick, Chuuya went and kissed those fingers. “Mm~ I haven’t had those in a while, I forgot they did chocolate.”
Blushing a bit, Atsushi had to push his surprise down. “R-Right.” He tried to distract himself with more pocky.
Watching him with a smile, Chuuya got an idea. “Hey, want to play a game?”
“A-A game?” Atsushi looked at the redhead. “What kind?”
Smiling, Chuuya reached over and took out another stick from the box and waved it a bit. “We take a bite on the ends of the stick and then try to eat as much as of it in one go. First one to eat the most of it, wins. Sounds good?”
A bit confused but interested, Atsushi nodded. “Sure.” When both of them on the ends of the stick, he started nibbling as much of the pocky as he can. It wasn’t until he got halfway through that something happened.
He and Chuuya shared a kiss in the middle of their ‘game’.
Letting out a muffled squeak, Atsushi’s face went very pink as his eyes went wide. When Chuuya pulled back, he was speechless and stunned.
Licking his lips, Chuuya smirked. “Guess I win~”
Still silent, Atsushi covered his face as he whined. “Unfair! You’re being so unfair!”
Cooing, Chuuya went and wrapped his arms around Atsushi. “I know, I know~” Did he feel bad about it though, not really. “How about we play another game? Maybe use two sticks this time?”
Peeking above his fingers, Atsushi pouted. “You better not cheat.” He relented.
Snorting, Chuuya nodded. “For you, I won’t.” He kissed the top of the other’s head.

Later on
Akutagawa stared at Chuuya on one of their days off. “Um, why are you buying so much pocky?”
With a cart full of them, Chuuya had the faintest blush on his face but huffed at that. “Never mind what I’m doing, the real question is why haven’t you bought any today?”
It was one of the rare times that Akutagawa was left perplexed as Chuuya carted off with the pocky-filled cart.
