   Summary

Tocci was an ordinary high schooler, with lots of friends and admirers. She was both the top of her class and one of the most popular girls.

Her family, though, was not what you might consider a 'happy family'. Tocci's achievements were never enough, no matter what she did or who she associated herself with.

So Tocci should have been prepared when they agreed to send her off to a laboratory against her will and with no former notice, right?

   ...

   Wrong.
