One day a stray kitten follows Doppo back home on his way from work,,, Doppo and Hifumi are sat on the stairs that lead up to their apartment,,, they're staring at the kitten that's also staring back up at them.. Doppo is the first one to speak up about it..
" What should we do..? What if it belongs to someone? Should I call a shelter? That's probably for the best right? "
Hifumi looks up at Doppo who is on a step above him.. he leans down and grasps a hold of the kitten with both hands and just holds it out to Doppo.. with a pleading pout he's like " Can't we keep it? It's really taken a liking to you Doppochin! " Doppo looks at him then at the kitten.. almost giving in to both Hifumi and the cat's pleading faces,,, but he quickly shakes his head
" N-No Hifumi.. What if it belongs to someone already? And what if we get kicked out of our apartment for having an animal? Then we'd be homeless and it would be all my fault.. I'm the one who brought it here.. "
Hifumi gives Doppo another pleading look in which Doppo finds it so hard to ignore.. Hifumi speaks up again
" I'm sure it'll be fiiine Doppochin! You worry too much! Besides wouldn't they have put a collar on their kitten if it had an owner? Besides! it's taken a liking to you! We should keep it! "
Doppo grits his teeth for a moment.. He shakes his head and speaks up.. " Are you listening to me Hifumi we ca-- " he finds himself stopping mid sentence.. the look on Hifumi's face.. he looked like a sad puppy.. and not to mention the look on the cats face as well.. both of their adorable faces.. pushing doppo to finally give in.. he lets out a sigh and agrees
" Fine..! But before we can decide on keeping it.. we're going to put up wanted posters all over the city.. that way we can find who it belongs to if it does and if not.. then I suppose... it wouldn't hurt to have it aro-- W-Woah..! "
Before he could finish that sentence.. Hifumi jumps into his lap and hugs him tightly
" YAAY Thank you Doppochin! You hear that kitty? You're coming home with us! "
