Taking care of a pregnant Master (Fate/ Grand Order pregnancy headcanons) - Male Servants

Summary:

How some of the servants in Fate/ Grand Order would take care of their master if they were pregnant.

Notes:

This is mostly to be read as platonic but can be read as romantic except for Asterios’ part because as he’s baby and I can’t think of them in any other regard.

Definitely more fanon then canon but could take place during a grail war for maybe more angst.

I’m dedicating this to Chris and Chase for getting me into this fandom and being my beta readers, thanks for everything!

Chapter 1: Asterios

Chapter Text

* Asterios didn’t like being the one to take care of you during your pregnancy due to a number of factors such as his sheer size compared to yours and how he could practically crush you like paper. His past life and history with children doesn’t help in this factor either. But if the bond between the both you is high and with a lot of reassurance, he’ll do his best to support you.

* Asterios is warm, like he’s a walking furnace, and nothing is more satisfying then curling up your sore body on his lap. The heat helps with the aches and pains of pregnancy. More often than not, you’ll end of falling asleep in his lap and much like how it’s illegal to move a cat when they fall asleep on your lap, Asterios doesn’t dare move a muscle in fear of waking you up.

* With that being said, Asterios acts very, very carefully around you now, more so than before. You’re carrying a new life, a little master, inside of you and one wrong move from him could end all of that. It was like you were a china shop and he was, well, a bull in said shop. But with time, he realizes he doesn’t have to be as careful but will still be mindful of himself.

* Asterios will offer to hold your hand/ arm and help if you walk during the later stages of your pregnancy and if you tell him your feet are sore or you’re too tired to walk, he’ll just lift you up into his arms and carry you around, much to your embarrassment.

* Asterios is curious about the baby but holds himself back when it comes to interacting with them. He might scare them and make them fear him for the rest of their life. He might even hurt them with his strength... But with lots of reassurance, he starts to become a part of their life.

* When the baby starts to learn how to crawl and eventually walk, Asterios keeps an extra close eye on them so they don’t get themselves hurt. This results in a lot of shenanigans that result in either Asterios getting hurt and the baby laughing in amusement.

* The baby has an utter fascination with Asterios’ absolute fluff of white hair, grabbing at it whenever they could get in range. When they’re older, they try to bury themselves in his hair with minimal success, only earning them a chuckle from you and a confusion looked from Asterios.

* Asterios is still a bit of a child himself and it feels like the two are somehow growing up together. One of their favorite things to do together is for your child to read to Asterios, especially if it’s before bedtime. Asterios has attempted to read to them before with not much success but ultimately prefers to be read to. He likes the peace and calm it brings.

* If the little master is a girl, expect to come home to Asterios’ hair braided with many ribbons, bows, flowers, etc. He doesn’t mind as it keeps them content and preoccupied for quite a while. When your daughter goes to bed, you’ll often undo their work before going to bed yourself but sometimes Asterios will ask you to leave it alone or else the little master will be sad.

* If you have Euryale as a servant, she’ll get rather jealous of the attention Asterios has been giving you and the baby. She’ll start to tolerate it as she grows curious about the little master and admit they’re not bad as she thought they were but from the way she’ll sometimes sing a lullaby for the baby to fall asleep to, it’s safe to say she’s fond of the baby too.
