Summary
Though reluctant to interrupt Xie Lian’s pampering, Hua Cheng snatches a cloth to scrub Xie Lian’s face with rapt care. Xie Lian scrunches up his nose as the soap threatens to make him sneeze.
“San Lang, did you know you could use ropes in bed?” he drops offhandedly.
Hua Cheng pauses. His eye doesn’t stray from the cloth, but he trembles imperceptibly. Xie Lian doubts it’s from the water getting cold.
