“Taehyung-ah, isn’t he handsome in that mysterious kind of way?”
Jimin whispers for the nth time sitting next to Taehyung at the library. “And do you remember the time he sang last week?, He’s an angel”.
Taehyung sighs, and stares at Jimin’s crush sitting few tables ahead. Jimin continues to stare dreamily, his books long forgotten on the table.
“Jimin, don’t you have to pick Jihyun today?” Taehyung reminds Jimin wishing his best friend would leave his dream land. “shit, what time is it?” Jimin panics at the mention of his baby brother.
Taehyung watches as Jimin clumsily stuffs his books into his bag and leaves the library promising to meet him tomorrow. Taehyung doesn’t miss how Jimin’s mysterious crush glances at his hyung with a rare smile on his face. “Maybe Jimin’s dream will come true” Taehyung thinks to himself.

“His name is Jungkook” Jimin exclaims as soon as Taehyung plops down next to him next day at the library. Taehyung follows Jimin’s gaze and sees the mentioned figure burying himself in a book.
Taehyung sighs, “Jiminie, maybe you should do something rather than being a stalker, Maybe he likes you as well”. Taehyung says remembering how Jungkook glanced at his best friend yesterday.
“What? You think so?” Jimin’s face lightens up as he exclaims quite excitedly. Taehyung sees the librarian sending them a pointed glare.
“Jimin, you are desperate at this point.” Taehyung whispers to Jimin motioning him to keep his voice down. “But, Taehyung-ah, how am I gonna talk to him just like that?” Jimin continues to blabber, drowning in his own thoughts.
The next minute, they both are thrown out of the library by a very angry librarian.
Taehyung fixes his backpack on one shoulder and drags Jimin to the nearest bench thinking that maybe he should help his best friend to straighten things out.
“Jiminie, I think you should confess to him” the younger man exclaims thoughtfully while tapping his chin. “You’ve got to make a move first or just forget about him”.
Jimin’s eyes widen at this, “what? He’s not someone I can forget that easily, He stole my heart from the moment he sang at Yoongi hyung’s birthday party”.
“Then confess to him today, or I’m going to tell him” Taehyung sends his friend a pointed glare successfully conveying that indeed, he means business. Jimin sighs, “ok, What should I do?”.
“There’s still half an hour till the library closes, wait for him to come out and then tell him that you like him. Simple as that.” The younger guy advices his friend hoping that everything goes well. “What if he doesn’t like me back?” Jimin chickens out again.
“Don’t worry, I’m sure he likes you back.”
Another 15 minutes go by as Jimin freaks out and Taehyung figures out that it’s his first time seeing his friend this nervous.
“He’s coming” Jimin pinches Taehyung as he breaks into cold sweat. “You can do this Jimin. Fighting!” Taehyung encourages Jimin while pushing him slightly. Taehyung watches as Jimin goes to Jungkook and stands in front of his not-so-secret crush.
“Hi, I’m Jimin! You are Jungkook right?” Jungkook nods his head as a light pink invades his cheeks. “Maybe you haven’t seen me before” Jimin continues while fidgeting, “but I saw you singing at Yoongi hyung’s party last week and I’ve been in love with you ever since. Your voice is like-,” Jungkook blushes like a ripe tomato and hides his face and walks away before Jimin gets to finish his words. Jimin freezes on the spot as Taehyung rushes to his friend asking what happened.
“Taehyung-ah he might hate me to run away like that?” Jimin freaks out as he buries his face in Taehyung’s shoulder. “I’m such a fool”.

The next day Taehyung plops down at an empty table at the library noticing that both Jimin and Jungkook are nowhere to be seen.

Five days later Jimin still refuses to go to the library claiming that he does not have the courage to face Jungkook after that incident. Taehyung sits down at an empty table for the sixth consecutive day and sees that Jungkook is there at his usual table and catches the disappointed look on Jungkook’s face.
The next day Taehyung drags Jimin to the library claiming that one day, Jimin would have to face Jungkook no matter what. Jungkook’s face lightens up as he sees Jimin is there with Taehyung but his face falls, when he notices that Jimin isn’t his usual cheerful self.
Taehyung and Jimin sit at there usual table and Taehyung suffocates from the tension that seemed to have evolved between his friend and his crush. Several hours pass by as Jimin refuses to lift his head from his book and Taehyung catches Jungkook stealing glances at his friend. Taehyung watches as Jungkook packs his bag and leaves one single book on the table while stealing glances at Jimin. Then he sends a pointed glare at Taehyung then at the book signaling that it’s for Jimin.
Taehyung nudges Jimin as Jungkook leaves the library. Jimin buries his face on the table. “I thought I was going to die from all the suspense.”
“Jimin, I think he wants to give you that book” Taehyung whispers to Jimin as he points to the book, which Jungkook left on his table. Jimin stares at Taehyung and then the book for a while, nevertheless picks up the book and sits in his own chair again. Jimin opens the book only to find that there’s a note inside the book.
“Dear Jimin,
I’m really sorry about what happened that day. I have a shy personality from the day I was born. So, when I get a complement I get embarrassed quite easily . That day when you said that you fell in love with me because of my singing, I felt embarrassed. That’s why I ran away like a coward. Please don’t misunderstand. I have to admit that I’ve been mesmerized by you as well from the moment that you danced at the competition wearing a blindfold last year. And I found myself liking you more because of your cheerful personality. I never had the courage to talk to you and I’m ashamed of it. But now I’m going to admit that I like you. So if you want to give us a chance meet me at the school entrance at 5:30 pm. I’ll be waiting.

“OH MY GOD! HE LIKES ME AS WELL TAEHYUNG!! HE LIKES ME!!!” Jimin shouts hugging a bewildered Taehyung.
The next thing they know, they are thrown out of the library for the second time.
