“I am human,” Ningguang said simply.
Beidou’s grin turned into a bit of a leer without her express permission. Maybe the rum was a little stronger than she’d anticipated. “Prove it.”

A bit of a character study of Beidou, filling in some of the gaps in the story we currently know and exploring her earlier years, pre-captain. Tells the story of Beidou and Ningguang's first meeting. (No real plot spoilers, but mentions of plenty of small details that show up in-game at various points. Nothing that should ruin the story if you're not caught up.)
