   Summary

   After Edelgard declares her war, Claude leaves for Almyra, leaving not only a power vacuum in Leicester; but a heartbroken retainer behind.

   His last request to Hilda: aid Marianne to escape a political marriage, but she soon finds herself in way over her head at the heart of the Adrestian Empire’s stronghold. Unfortunately, General Ladislava takes an interest in her, under the impression that she is anything like her brother Holst.

   Hilda’s predicament is only made worse, as her first instinct when faced with harm, is to immediately escalate it via insults.
