Summary
Ten years after the first Makai tournament, things are changing in the Human World. Yokai are becoming more and more present in human life. The one thing that’s not changing? Kurama. Literally. His human form has stopped aging. The slow collision of two lives he’s worked desperately to keep separate seems, at times, almost inevitable.
But when the murder of a young spirit detective brings the gang back together, Kurama's past life comes crashing back into his current life in the form of someone he never thought he’d see again—his old partner, Kuronue. This time, he can’t bring himself to abandon his former partner. The challenge is keeping his old life a thing of the past with his seven-foot-tall bat yokai ex sleeping on his couch.
