    Cursed was very fitting for what Shouta Aizawa was as he watched that look in his son's amethyst eyes.

    “Toshi,” Shouta’s voice broke as he fell to his knees in front of his son. “Toshi,” was all he could whisper as he pulled his son to his chest.

    What had he done to deserve such a life? Why did it take and take and take until there were no pieces left of him save for his limbs? His heart was already handed out to the point of there being nothing, you would have to go to another to get a piece of it.

    “Father,” Hitshoi’s voice came with a gentleness that made Shouta’s breath catch. “They’ve been waiting for you to come home,” Hitoshi whispered in response as he hugged his father back. “Uncles miss you dearly.”
