Chapter Text
T1: Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran
“You look so wonderful in your dress
I love your hair like that, the way it falls on the side of your neck down your shoulders and back..
It is like the heaven blessed them with a golden afternoon. The sun shines, the vivid color of it making their skin shimmer – the warmth wrapping them like two lovely souls.
His gaze averts to the woman sitting in front of her big vanity mirror. The slit from her black dress and the way it embraces her curves making him gulp in many different ways.
Her soft and silky hair that he loves to smell freely flows. He stares like he is piercing a hole – building a home to her heart.
Today she will be his and he will be hers.
The day is about to end, the sun will be replaced by the moon in about an hour or two. He asked her last night to dress for another family portrait. She beamed at him and didn’t ask any more questions.
Because she knows. She’s aware how the man beside him loves to surprise her. She doesn’t want to assume anything but she can feel the familiar sensation from her chest – it’s warm like sipping a cup of hot chocolate in a chilly evening.
We are surrounded by all of these lies
And people that talk too much
7 years. It has been 7 beautiful years. They’ve reached the lowest and highest peak of their relationship.
Both of them are human beings after all, they battled whispers and opinions from people they barely know.
Those 7 years weren’t easy. It wasn’t just about rainbows and butterflies, sometimes they encountered bumpy roads that are exhausting to take.
In between those years they almost end things.
You got that kind of look in your eyes as if no one knows anything but us..
Moon Young and Gang Tae just finished their shoot when he insisted in driving her somewhere.
It is a cruise ship, she didn’t know that there is a place like this. He guided her in going in.
She saw a small round table in the middle, lights flickering and rose petals scattered everywhere.
She is in front of him, walking in a huge photo wall. Images of them during their trip in their camping van are plastered there.
She didn’t notice the small group of people playing instruments. She chuckled at how cliché this moment is.
She turned around and saw him.
Kneeling in front of her as he holds a diamond ring. She gasp at the sight she always dreamed of, ever since she was a child she imagined this event in her life – to finally escape her mother’s wrath.
It is beyond what she expected, it’s surreal and magical.
Should this be the last thing I see
I want you to know it's enough for me 'Cause all that you are is all that I'll ever need..”
“Please bare with me. You know that I am not good with this stuff and you know that I only wish for one thing and that is to see you happy in my arms. Marry me?”
“Yes.”
You look so wonderful in your dress
I love your hair like that
“She looks divine” He thought as he saw her in her white dress. Her accessories making her look exquisite and expensive.
The white cloth swaddled in her body creates a specific aura that he too cannot identify but one thing is for sure and that is what he feels at her sight.
Sorrow, dejection and emptiness.
For the reason that he can no longer see her in her snow colored dress while she walks down the aisle, that she is wearing it right now as she sleeps with her heart that no longer beats for him.
You look so beautiful in this light, Your silhouette over me..
He loved
And then he lost
Her shadow etched at the four corners of their empty room. The smell of lavender surrounding the space, her touch making him shiver.
He closed his eyes as if she wants him to. She kissed his forehead as if it is the last time.
The sun shines, the vivid color of it making his skin shimmer – the warmth wrapping him like a lonely soul.
He never knew that the day will come that she can no longer hold his hand. From this moment all he wants is to never witness her last goodbye.
To never let her go
To still touch her
To engulf her in his embrace
To see her light that dwindled a year ago because of an incurable and inevitable battle he didn’t know that resurfaced.
He doesn’t have any clue that in darkness she succumbed and in fear she gave in.
“Rest now, my love..”
Lumiere, darling
