"Oi! Are you lost?!"
That loud shout caused Nirengeki Shoda to snap awake. He found himself in the middle of a forest, a familiar one close to his home prefecture.
However, he was much deeper than expected, given the volume of the trees surrounding him.
"Oh hey, you're awake!"
Then he looked forward, and saw a peculiar sight: it was a harpy covered in green feathers, a pair of wings flapping on her back, while she put her hands on her hips.
What was most peculiar about her, however, was that she was glowing.
"You know, I only said what I did because I wanted to see if you'd react," she confessed. "I'm glad you did, though."
"What... happened?"
"That's what I'd like to know," she shrugged. "I was just taking a nightly stroll when I saw you on the ground."
"It seems to be pretty late, too," Shoda frowned. "H-Hey, I know this is sudden, but could you help me find my way back home?"
"Sure, that's what I planned to do anyway!"
The harpy flew down, showcasing her talons while Shoda backed away.
"W-What are you doing?!"
"Um, grabbing you so I can fly you back to society? Duh."
"No way! Those things are way too sharp! You're gonna impale me with those things!"
"Huh, I guess you do have a point then," the greenette hummed. "I know! Follow me!"
The girl flapped away and flew to the distance, Shoda doing his best to follow her as she giggled.
After a long, arduous trek through the forest, the boy finally got a chance to stop and catch his breath...
"Hi, Dad!"
Only to hear that soon after.
"Hey there, kid."
And the easily-recognized voice of Hawks, the Number Three Hero, only made him more nervous.
"I'm Hawks, Number Three Hero, nice to meet you," the Pro-Hero nonchalantly said. "I'm guessing Midoriya-chan asked to fly you back home, and you got scared?"
"On my defense, he's the one who stopped me," Midoriya pouted.
"Well, I'll take you back home myself, I just need you to keep her existence a secret, okay?"
Now having fully processed what he just heard, Shoda turned to the greenette, who tilted her head as he said:
"The Number Three Hero... has a daughter?"
Kagayaki Midoriya! Quirk: Hercinia! She's a harpy that can not only do everything her father can, but emit a powerful glow! However, she can only glow, or at least notably glow, in the dark!
