Summary
Kevin Alonso spends his days working on his father's farm and nights listening to tales that make him long for adventure, enjoying the attention people give to him and his mismatched eye colors. Jose Baden pretends he doesn't know as many of the rumors as he does about his eyes and how they don't match his parents', scorning the way it makes people view his mother. The cowboy chasing after his fate and the First Officer to the Queen trying to run from it.
Soulmate AU in Victorian setting. Loosely based on 1800's England, though the locations are purposefully vague and not meant to explicitly correspond to real places. Slightly canon divergent character backgrounds but heavily inspired by them.
