Summary
Izuku Midoriya lost his notebook, and now he is faced with his accusing teacher. One by one, those he knew begin to turn on him, and still all he can think of, is how after middle school - the dejection still hurts just as bad.

But here his teacher stood, dangling quirk resistant cuffs in front of his hooded eyes, his face greyed with disappointment. He felt his heart tighten, pulling in on itself as he stared into those dulled eyes. That look… heartbreaking, a teacher seemingly lost all trust in him. He flinched from some unknowing sting. The teachers in his middle school, well they had always looked down upon him, ever since it was made known he was nothing but a quirkless little boy. Yet, that pain of constant dejection felt like a lesser burden than watching the hope leave his once caring teacher’s eyes.
