Kaminari was the first to witness Bakugou’s influence on Midoriya.
Kaminari threw himself onto the common room couch. Ashido was already there setting up the tv for movie night. The rest of the Bakusquad was gathered around already too, they were just waiting on Bakugouu and the Dekusquad. Bakugou and Midoriya were both in the kitchen making popcorn. Which wasn’t odd on its own, the two were getting along better recently. What was weird was Midoriya kept glancing over at him.
Kaminari caught Midoriya finally, Midoriya signed ‘bitch’ at him. Kaminari looked over to Bakugou, who was laughing his ass off. Kaminari signed ‘why’ to Midoriya.
Midoriya responded with ‘because no one will believe you’ and smiled.
Maybe he had been hanging out with Bakugou too much…
Todoroki was the next. He was walking into the kitchen late one night because he couldn’t sleep and wanted a drink of water. He saw Midoriya and Bakugou awake too. Before he got a chance to ask what they were doing Midoriya saw him.
“Hey Todoroki! Kacchan is being a bitch, please ignore him.”
Todoroki realized he must have made a funny face because Bakugou started laughing. Todoroki blinked, “Hello... to you too Midoriya… What, what did Bakugou do?”
“Threw frosting on his face.”
Todoroki nodded, “Understandable have a good night.”
He then turned on his heel and sped walked back to his room. Nothing about that was understandable. Maybe Kaminari’s story was true.
Uraraka and Iida were together with Todoroki when Midoriya very loudly complained about Bakugou’s cleaning habits. The three of them were all equally fearful for the blonde as Midoriya went on.
“The fucker threw away one of my old All Might action figures!”
“It was fucking broken, Deku, don’t give me that shit.”
Bakugou walked into class, Kirishima and Kaminari with him, just as Midoriya spoke. The five of them watched the childhood friends get into an argument.
“Told you he called me a bitch…” Kaminari laughed awkwardly.
When the whole class, plus Aiwaza and All Might, saw the two hell bringers actually work together was on April’s Fools day. Kaminari came into class with washed-out pink in his hair. Kirishima had his face drawn all over. Sato couldn’t find a spoon.
A spoon! They hid all the spoons!
The class watched Bakugou and Midoriya set up something on the door. Aizawa didn’t even ask what the two were doing, simply muttered ‘I’m not paid enough for this’ and went in his sleeping bag.
There was a bucket over the door, Bakugou had another bucket filled with what looked like flour, and Midoriya had his phone out. Texting someone before opening the camera app on it.
It was silence as they waited. And waited.
And waited.
Then the door opened and a loud, “I am,” resounded throughout the room until he sputtered from the water being dumped on him.
He recovered from that only to have Bakugou throw the flour on him. Midoriya took a photo before bursting into laughter with Bakugou.
All Might stood in front of the door, wet and covered in flour.
“Well played… Well played,” All Might muttered, pulling off the wet flour on his face.
