Summary

“What happens if you don’t drink enough blood?”
“I don’t die, if that’s what you’re asking.” Baby huffs a laugh at the idea. “I just get a lot weaker. Hungrier too.”
That catches Jinu’s attention. “I thought you said demons don’t get hungry?”
“I’m a special case.” Baby flashes a sharp smile. “Don’t worry about it, I’ve been dealing with this for a century before you even got here. I know how to manage my shit.”
Jinu wants to say that he’d be willing to help, if he needed it. That Jinu knows the pain of hunger and wouldn’t wish it on him. But, he knows Baby starts putting up walls if Jinu presses too much about his personal stuff or prods too hard at a vulnerability, so he backs off and just nods here.
(Or some demons are stronger and faster, at the cost of needing blood to maintain that boost. Baby is one of them. Jinu has certain feelings about letting someone he cares about go hungry.)

Summary
“Pretty boy, get your durumagi and gat on and meet me outside; we’re going shopping.” Baby announces. Then, without any further explanation, walks out and leaves them all with nothing but his words.
Jinu’s mind goes totally blank for a moment. When his thoughts catch up to him, his first real thought is, ‘Pretty boy’? That’s a new one.
His second thought is one he voices out loud, “Does anyone know which one of us he was talking about?”
Nothing but silence greets him, which is an answer in it of itself.
(Or Baby calls one of the Saja Boys ‘Pretty boy’ but doesn’t specify who he’s talking about. It sparks a mini argument, all insisting they’re the one he means.)

Summary
One six hour rehearsal has tensions higher than ever, leaving them all, sans Jinu, slumped against dead trees and gulping down only somewhat clean water. Jinu has been tense the past few weeks, unhappy with the lack of progress. Romance gets it but after the day they’ve all had, he’s not feeling very sympathetic.
Baby all but downs all of his water in under thirty seconds before pulling it out of his mouth with a pop and announcing to the other three of them, “I’m going to kill him.”
Romance groans, head tipping back. “Don’t kill him. He’ll take months to regenerate. Then all our work will have been for nothing.”
“I’m thinking about it.” Baby glares down at his water bottle like it has personally offended him. “If I hear him say we need to put more heart into it one more time, I might not be able to stop myself.”
(Or Jinu needs to teach four demons how to sing and dance like professionals, both before the Idol Awards and ensure they get Gwi-Ma’s support in the process. A look into how that might’ve gone.)
